I was very very nervous leading up to my trip, but the second my boyfriend and I met Ellie, we felt 10000 times better. She sent me so many photos, and kept me up to date on everything. The photos really made me feel more comfortable during the trip, I could tell she was very happy and comfortable. Also, anytime we leave Baby she almost always skips her lunch. Baby was eating both meals every single day which was a huge sign to me that Ellie made her comfortable and at home. I would recommend Ellie to everyone!! If you have any hesitations, set up a meet and greet and you will feel at ease the second you meet her. I needed last minute care due to a medical emergency, and she not only accommodated my need with less than 18 hours notice, but she did so with a level of care for my kitties that I have never experienced before. Within 15 minutes of her arrival, I had photos and videos of all of my babies (which is no small feat in itself), and she continued to provide multiple updates, photos, and videos. She was so so so loving and gentle with my kitties, stayed with them all day and overnight, and gave me the comfort and reassurance I was desperately needing. About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.
