“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 6 years now, and I just recently adopted my own! His name is maverick and he’s a husky, but I also have a cat (bean) and another dog (bronco) who I adopted a few years ago. I live in an apartment complex here in Columbia, and I’m currently a college student! I work full time, three days a week. Tues-thurs! I do work nights so I’m usually free from 8am-6pm on the days that I work, otherwise I’m free early mornings and late at night if needed. I’m available to do drop in visits and boarding on the weekends :) Since I live in an apartment complex without a fence I typically walk maverick on a leash and frequently take him to the off leash dog park near by. I’d be able to do whatever you do at your home to accommodate!

“Fawn is fairly new to Ximena and her pack. I wanted to have a back up sitter for when we wanted to board Fawn. Fawn gets very excited when we pull up to Ximena's house. She knows the dog "pack" and is excited to be there. When I pick her up at the end of the day, she is ready to have a nap, as she has had a busy day walking and playing. “Fawn absolutely LOVES going to Christine's. Her dog, Daisy and Fawn are good buddies. A big plus s that Christine plays with Fawn. Fawn loves balls and Christine mixes up the variety of balls. I swear, when Fawn goes inn Christine's house and finds all the toys she has set up for the day's play, Fawn turns back and looks at me with the biggest, wide eyes and SMILE, I have ever seen on a dog. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have never thought of them as “just pets”, they're family! I've raised both a Beagle and a French Bulldog from puppyhood and have experience caring for senior dogs as well. Besides that I am always home. I care for pets that I am watching just like I would my own! My apartment building has a big yard and i have many good pet friendly parks very close by. I have multiple dog toys, treats, and dog bed (but my dog is small) I also have multiple cat towers, scratchers, toys, and treats. My pets are feed 3x a day morning, noon, and night. My dog is walked at least 2x a day not including potty breaks.

Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. “I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! I never allow pets off-leash unless specifically instructed by the owner and it is safe to do so. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. About: I have training experience & trained my pup myself! We play, snuggle, walk, and continue to practice training every day! I love teaching my pup new tricks, and can do the same for yours! We are very happy & energetic in our home! My sweet Buster gets along with other animals very well! He's a sweetie! I make sure to do mentally stimulating activities and challenges for Buster! They're so good for dogs! I make them fun and rewarding! I can do that for your baby too! I work full-time. And when I come home, my attention is on my pup- getting his energy out and having fun! If your request is for house sitting, I would need to bring my dog along with me. I'm home all evenings and all weekends. On the weekend, especially, I'll be available to do all the caring for your sweet babe!! The #1 thing is I don't give my dog people food. If I do, he only gets safe fruits & veggies and cheese. I don't have anything a dog could choke on or really swallow. I put Buster in a kennel when I'm gone, but I could leave your dog out if they don't do kennels. Please ask me questions if you have any!
