I absolutely adore their unique personalities—from the chatty, attention-loving cats who want to be involved in everything, to the shy ones who just need someone patient enough to earn their trust. One of my favorite parts of caring for cats is learning what makes each one happy, whether that's playtime with a wand toy, a quiet lap to nap on, or simply sharing the same room together. There is nothing better than hearing a happy purr, getting slow blinks of trust, or being greeted with a little "meow" when I walk through the door. About: Hi! I’m Jamie. I’ve been working with dogs for over 14 years & have experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities & needs. My passion is caring for medically fragile dogs, including those who are blind, deaf, or recovering from surgery. I’ve fostered over 25 different breeds of dogs (& over 75 dogs total) through CARE, APA, Even Chance Pit Bull Rescue, & Unchained Melodies since I started fostering in college. I am very active in the rescue world and previously have served on a board for a nonprofit animal rescue, so very experienced with rescue dogs. Dogs I have worked with come from many different & difficult situations including hoarding cases, neglect, abuse & organized fighting. I also have experience with other animals including cats & bunnies. I currently have 1 foster dog. I am a teacher, so during the school year I am away Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:45. During the summer (June through August), I am help with running a few kids to camps but otherwise am home & hanging out with the dogs all day. Dogs fit perfectly into my summer routine & get plenty of time to run around my fenced-in yard or relax inside if they are at my house for daycare or boarding. If I am swinging by for a drop in or walk, dogs also fit perfectly into my daily routine and are treated as if they were my own. For safety, I do require that dogs who stay at my house be crate trained. I crate dogs when I am not home to provide a calm, secure environment. I also have a camera on them for the short amount of time I am away so I know that they are always safe. When I am not working, I am home & fully focused on the dogs in my care. While staying with me, dogs have full access to my fenced yard & my home, but they are never left unattended. Please note that I am happy to schedule a meet & greet, but during this time I do not allow dogs from other homes to meet each other. Any current dogs in my home will remain crated. This allows your dog to settle in safely before exploring a new environment & helps prevent any unnecessary stress. Pets are treated like family whether they are staying in my home or I am visiting them at yours. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable & well cared for at all times. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help reduce stress. This includes feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication if needed & plenty of playtime. I love sending photo & video updates so you can stay connected to your pet while you are away. For boarding in my home, I send one update every 24 to 48 hours. If you prefer more frequent updates, just let me know in advance. For drop-ins & walks, I send an update after each visit with pictures & a quick summary of how your pet is doing. I always make sure they get fresh water, bathroom breaks & attention based on their needs.

About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. About: I’ve always been around animals and have always had animals, mostly dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs with special diets and ones that have needed insulin shots before too I’m at home now, and attended the University of Arkansas this previous year so my daily life included a lot of activity. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 and have always had animals in the house ever since I was young. I’ve been around a good chunk of different dog/cat breeds. Almost all of my family members has or had pets that I’ve been around and/or taken care of. My stepmom always had foster dogs every so often that my siblings and I would help take care of. I’m 100% and dog lover, but my mom grew an addiction to sphynx and got one 6 years ago and the other 3 years ago. My love for cats has grown ever since then. About: I have owned a few dogs, and have watched over many more! I love dogs and am looking forward to meeting new dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am currently working a part time job that is flexible. I am willing to do all tasks assigned from walking to feeding to bathing. I am friendly but will be serious when needed to properly care for the dog. Your dog will always be the top priority. I will follow all instructions left by the owner, while also having fun your dog. I can take them on walks, to the park, and even swimming! I have a car to get whenever I need to be and I am always on time. While this will be an extra job for me I will be sure to treat it like my only job!

I also have two friendly dogs of my own who love meeting new friends, so your pup will have the option to socialize if they’re comfortable with it. Whether your dog is a cuddler, a ball-chaser, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. If your pet needs extra medical care, I’m experienced with that too. I currently administer fluids to a friends cat and regularly handle medications and fluids through my wildlife care internship. I’m confident, gentle, and always follow instructions closely to make sure your pet stays healthy, calm, and comfortable.
