About: We didn't have a cat growing up but I was always well beloved by friends' cats and neighborhood strays. In 2021, I adopted my first cat — Sapphira, a senior surrender — as a cure for college quarantine loneliness. Over the next four years, I nursed her thru diabetes, organ failure, partial spinal paralysis, UTIs, and incontinence before she passed August 2025. I'd do it all over again if I could. About: I have always loved dogs. My husband and I adopted a beagle 5 years ago and we have just loved every minute of it. We go on daily walks, have plenty of toys and dog puzzles. I currently work from home and will have plenty of time to monitor and play with your dogs. My Beagle Tommy is also dog friendly. We go outside frequently and supervise outside playtime. About: I’ve worked at Banfield pet hospital in different states, expanding my knowledge of different species from different regions. My grandmother owned a grooming business when I was a little rascal, which allowed me to be around fluffy friends all day. About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. “So thankful we found Misty! We were in a bind, 2 days before we left for a weekend vacation our dog sitter cancelled on us. Misty took our daisy on short notice, asked questions and took notes to make sure she knew everything she needed to about our pup! Daisy spent the weekend playing with her kids and other dog, romping around her backyard, and came back to us tired and happy ? We received multiple pics of Daisy’s fun throughout the weekend. So happy Misty was able to care for Daisy, and we will definitely be using her again!”

“Jacob is a wonderful pet sitter. He took care of my two cats and kept me updated with pics and notes about how they were doing. One of my cats’ had trouble adjusting but he encouraged her everyday to come out of her safe place. She finally came out on the last day. So I will definitely use him again. She took care of my dog for 2 1/2 weeks, sent a photo & comment every day about how Bessie was doing, and it was obvious she is passionate about animals! Because of her experience working for a vet I felt very comfortable that she was giving Bess her medicine, and since Bess is an older dog, she and her family gave her lots of cuddles and care. I won’t hesitate to ask her to dog sit again! Bessie also formed a friendship with one of their family’s dogs. She was very happy there!!”
