“I adore Jackie, and so did our three year old cat, Benny! Jackie did all the things (changed his water, checked on his food, emptied his litter box) with excellence and care. AND she went above and beyond by feeding the chipmunks on our deck (so Benny had some entertainment to watch), by bringing in our mail and by hanging around the house and playing with him. She knew where we keep his wand toys (safely out of sight, until he’s supervised) and she brought them out to play with him. He’s a short hair, so no need to brush him, but she knew that he enjoys it, so she offered him some brushing time. She sent pictures everyday, which was great. I missed him a lot, and seeing daily pictures made me feel better knowing that Benny was having a good time. Honestly, Jackie spoiled our boy almost as much as I do! While I don’t like to leave him often, I won’t hesitate next time, because I know he’s in good hands with Jackie.”

When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. About: My husband and I have raised 4 “rescued” dogs and one purebred during our 18 years together. We loved them all unconditionally and enjoyed all the time we had with them. We each had dogs in our prior 30 years of childhood and raising children. They were all amazing pets and we loved them as family. We had great friends who were able to take care of our dogs when we needed to go away and we are so thankful for that. I was never able to consider putting ours in a kennel. NOTE: I am very sorry to note that I have allergies so we can only accept hypoallergenic dogs for care in our home. So sorry, we love them all, but I am unable to care for other breeds in our home. I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. My family provides a loving, structured home environment, and dogs receive plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide attention, care, and supervision for pets. About: I’ve loved and taken care of dogs since I was 8. I saved my babysitting and birthday money to purchase my Pomeranian at the age of 12. I potty trained her and taught her how to sit, lie down, shake, and rollover on my own. I had her for 17 wonderful years and miss her everyday… Besides my Pomeranian, I have house/pet sat for multiple friends and family members. I currently have a 6 year old pomsky (half husky, half Pomeranian). She is a energetic dog who loves walks, playing fetch, and any squeaky toy. My dogs are my life and I would do anything for them. They are very spoiled! I love dogs so much and would own a house full of them if my husband would let me. I’m currently a full time worker. I’m a certified surgical technologist that works in the operating room at a hospital. I work mostly mornings and 4 days a week. I live 10 minutes from my job and I am gone 8 hours a day when I work. Other than my job, I am always at home. I’m a homebody and stay home most weekends as well. I have a completely fenced in backyard. I let my dog outside every 2 hours when I’m home from work for potty breaks. My dog is fed twice a day (morning & night). When I am at work my dog stays in her kennel. I also have a Furbo (dog camera which I can see, talk, and give treats to my dog while I’m on breaks at work) set up in my basement. My dog, as well as yours if allowed, is allowed on my furniture and to even sleep in my bed at night.

I’ve had experience with crating and free roaming for my dogs in the past, (My pups have since crossed over the rainbow bridge) and am open to what your home expectations are. The cats I live with now are accustomed to a routine schedule of feeding and interaction at their leisure, with snacks and playtime too.
About: We grew up with pets and we have a pet loving family. We have a German wirehair pointer dog, cat and raise rabbits for showing. We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.
