“I left my senior lab, Champ with Cheyann for 11-12 days over the holidays. It's the longest we've ever left him and the first time I used Rover. I would not hesitate to leave him with her again. Her entire family pitches in to welcome your dog. She was extremely flexible and easy to work with. Champ has cancer and is on meds and when I notified her a few days prior to leaving that he had a bladder infection related to the cancer, and was lame on 1 foot so would require 2 additional meds, she didn't hesitate to assure me that it was not a problem. She is extremely responsive to my texts and questions prior to leaving. During Champ's stay, she sent several pictures, even though she knew I would not have service, just so I would know he was well when I was finally able to. If we are ever in need of a sitter again, she will be the one I contact!”

About: I love all dog breeds. Found my passion in fostering for a rescue. Would love to have this as my job full time. We love to walk our dogs I work full time evenings. I have 3 dogs and a cat. I adopted my last foster. Husky and cat is my son’s that I’m taking care of. We walk them daily we also have a dog park near by My dogs sleep with me when I’m home alone. About: I’m a new cat mom. I usually always just had dogs, but I couldn’t say NO to my two kitties. Mama Kiki was found pregnant in a dumpster behind a restaurant!!!!! I had to bring her home and keep one of her babies. They are so sweet and crazy rascals. I have no problems taking care of older cats and kitties.

About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

“This was Zildjian’s first Rover experience and it couldn't have gone better. Leanna was great and allowed me the opportunity to test put how he would do with a shorter than usual stay (4 hours). She was very accommodating and communicative. I could tell he liked her even though he starts out meeting new people a little in a vocal manner. He trotted right along side her into the house and the photos I saw of him playing with the other dogs showed me that he enjoyed his time. About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. In my home I have a fenced in yard that my dog can run free and play. If I am in a clients home I would make sure that there is nothing that the dog/puppy could get into after spending time with them/walking them.

When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

About: When my friends go on vacation, I am the first person they call to petsit! Animals warm up to my calm demeaner quickly, and I've been told by pet owners that their shy animals have never been so friendly to a new person so fast before. I have experience caring for cats & kittens, dogs, and birds. I am very patient and gentle with animals, seeking to understand their physical and vocal cues to know what they need. I am also an expert at playing fetch and tug of war with dogs, and my expertise with cat feather wands means the cat usually gets tired before I do. I love walking, so it's a bonus if your pup wants to come with! I am a graduate student at St. Thomas with a part-time tutoring job during the school year, so I have plenty of gaps in my schedule to care for your pet. This means that I can spend time during the day, night, and weekend with your pet, including returning home for potty or play breaks in between tutoring or classes, depending on the needs of your pet. I am also available to stay overnight with your pet, so long as they don't mind helping me with my homework! I am vigilant and aware while pet sitting, making sure I know where your pet is and never leaving any doors, gates, or windows open. For example, my friend lives in an apartment and has two kittens who like to escape into the hallway, so I also create a barrier when I open his front door to ensure they stay inside. His windows also don't have screens, so I make sure they are always shut and locked up tight. I love interacting with and talking with animals when they are around, so even if I am busy working on my own projects, I'll take frequent breaks to catch up with your pets and give them attention.

About: I have pet sat for family members and friends. I also have worked at Wag’n Wash and have a lot of experience with all different types of breeds and temperaments. I know how to properly handle and deal with most if not all situations. I am home for the summer from college in the middle of May, and after I’m home I will be free most of the week with some errands and stuff I have to do in between some days. So I will be able to house sit during the week or just take them on walks or check up on them, depending on what the client wants to do. I work weekends but am able to take breaks and stop by the house if needed. I will insure all the care is specialized to each animal and what service I provide for them. With each pet I will come up with a specific care plan for them and review it with the owner to insure they get a say in what happened while they are gone.

We are very familiar with the needs of pets and how to care for different types of dogs, and will make sure they feel safe and loved every time. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, and overnight stays at your home. Whether it's a quick walk, a few daily visits, or a longer overnight stay, my goal is to keep your dog's routine as close to normal as possible: same walks, same meals, same schedule, so the biggest thing that changes while you're away is who's holding the leash. Pet care is my full-time focus right now, so it's built into the rhythm of my whole day rather than squeezed in around something else. Mornings typically start with a walk, then check-ins or visits throughout the day depending on what each dog's routine calls for, feeding times, medication, playtime, whatever they're used to. Since I'm home most of the day, I have the flexibility to be consistent and responsive rather than working around a 9-to-5. For drop-ins and walks, I follow your instructions closely: feeding times, walk routes, medication, anything specific to your dog's needs or quirks. For house sitting and overnight stays, I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, keeping doors locked, sticking to your dog's normal schedule, and making sure they have consistent company rather than long stretches alone. I check in regularly and send photo or video updates so you always know how things are going, and if anything unexpected comes up, I contact you right away rather than guessing. I'm also comfortable with dogs that have behavioral issues or anxiety, from my time fostering and volunteering at shelters, so I pay attention to body language and adjust rather than push a dog past what they're comfortable with.

“I left my senior lab, Champ with Cheyann for 11-12 days over the holidays. It's the longest we've ever left him and the first time I used Rover. I would not hesitate to leave him with her again. Her entire family pitches in to welcome your dog. She was extremely flexible and easy to work with. Champ has cancer and is on meds and when I notified her a few days prior to leaving that he had a bladder infection related to the cancer, and was lame on 1 foot so would require 2 additional meds, she didn't hesitate to assure me that it was not a problem. She is extremely responsive to my texts and questions prior to leaving. During Champ's stay, she sent several pictures, even though she knew I would not have service, just so I would know he was well when I was finally able to. If we are ever in need of a sitter again, she will be the one I contact!”
