“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since the age of 12. Most recently I have been working for almost a year at a dog boarding facility. I also own 3 dogs and 2 cats who have always been around other animals and are all up to date on vaccines I work from home and work Friday and Saturday during the mornings. About: I have a 11 month old puppy that I have started training and taking care of since 8 weeks old. I also talk him on regular walks, and bathe him. My oldest dog is almost 3 and I have also have had him since he was 8 weeks old. I have watched and walked other dogs for friends and family overnight and for extended periods. I could pet care in the summer almost every day, since I am a teacher. Some things may come up, but I have a pretty flexible schedule. I would prefer to care for pets in my home during the day to make the pet more comfortable. I am able to play with, feed, bathe, walk, etc. I have a fenced in backyard! I would love if you are ok with my 11 month aussiedoodle came with on walks or house sitting.

About: Ever since I was a kid I was bring home stray cats to nursery back to health. I am still doing it back in September I found my current cat Jup outside in with a really young kitten. Unfortunately the kitten was too sick so we found it a better home equipped to take care of it need but we had to keep Jup.

“Margarita has been a wonderful, flexible, accommodating, understanding, champion for me and Spike. He is having a good time there. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. Definitely booking again (already have the reservations). It’s nice to know that my 11week puppy has a loving and caring place that takes care of him while I am at work.”

About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026 and will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my fix of dogs! I’m currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner with our British lab, Lilly. Live in Madison Lake but willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter, for pet sitting or dog walking. We have a great home for dogs, so am happy to do pet sitting in our home too. We have a small British lab but she is not in the house much; she is a sweet, lover dog that prefers to hang outside in her luxury kennel outside. We walk her twice daily, and she gets along with all dogs we meet.

About: I've always loved dogs. I've spent five years working at a dog shelter as office manager, intake person which includes giving oral and injection medications, adoption coordinator, feeding and watering, cleaning, and socializing. I'm available during the week before 9am and after 1pm. Weekends are open. I work at the humane society but don't get to interact with the furry friends. I miss them! Also, I enjoy nature walks and stop as often as the dogs do to look at things. :) My schedule is flexible. When I am with dogs, it is sometimes hard to draw my attention away from them because they are so very loving and giving. I like to give that back to them.

When we first brought him home, I took him to training and I loved every second of it! I would watch him almost every weekend for my parents. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.
“Baylyn and her family were great with our 2 pups this past weekend! We received update photos throughout the weekend which we really appreciated! It was awesome seeing that our pups were being loved and cuddled while we were away. They were clearly well exercised and played with as they slept the entire day when they got home. Will rebook!”
About: I love watching all types of dogs. Whether it be young or old, big or small. Dogs react to my personality in a positive way; I think they can tell that I’m a loving human. I do have a lab/ pit mix, Oso. He is very sweet and loves having other dogs over! For house sitting, I will leave him at home with my partner. I will always follow all instructions given to me about your animals. I understand how important it is to cater to each of your pets wants and needs.
