We live on just over 5 acres with plenty of space to explore and our own walking trails throughout the property, which are perfect for getting outside, going on walks, and getting some energy out! Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. The more I know about them, the better I can make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar! 🐾
About: I was the kid hanging out in the neighbors dog house when my mom couldn't find me. Ive had a number of dogs since early on. Currently I have 4 dogs that run our household. We treat our dogs with love and kindness and reward with positive feedback. I would like to believe that people want the best for their pets, and with my care they will be treated as you would or better. I work from home currently and have access to let the pups out as needed. The fenced yard is high. They love the space and freedom of no leash. I have a fenced yard and 4 large dogs that play well with others. I do have a separate space if nessecary to keep them separated. I like to engage with the pups to keep them busy.. Hopefully if we play long enough they sleep well for me and you.

About: I've spent my entire life caring for animals (my own and others'). Over the years, I've worked for a vet clinic, the Lake Superior Zoo, raised animals on a farm, and supported various pet rescue organizations. I understand having a healthy diet for your animals, if they need to be fed a certain diet, I will follow there meal plan. I love training puppies and taking care of senior dogs. When your furry baby is left with me, I treat all dogs like they are my own. I am currently not working, I stay home with my three year old, I am available during the week, weekends and overnights. I have a golden doodle, she is 9 and loves any dogs. I do not have a fenced in area, my dog does not need a leash, but she respects other dogs that do need leashes. When it is nice, my dog likes to sub bathe in the sun. I like to let my dog out every 2-3 hours, unless its an old dog, then I understand to do every hour or even a new puppy every 30 minutes. I have a baby proofed house, so animals are safe in my household. If your dog needs medication, I can distribute medications. We love playing catch and walks in this household. Any dog is welcome into my home, even if your dog doesn't like other dogs, I will accommodate your dogs needs to make sure they are happy. I currently work overnights, 6 days a week, but can accommodate any needs for your furry babes. I can move my daytime schedule through the week, since it is fairly flexible. I do not have a fenced in backyard, but I will use walking leashes to let them outside and/or if you like your dogs to just roam, I’m okay with that too. I will have eyes on your pets to make sure they are safe.

About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026, and my significant other's dog to sleep in September 2026. We will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my "fix"! Live in Madison Lake with my significant other and am currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner when weather permits. I love to hang outside and read on the deck overlooking the lake, or work in the garden beds, so can take your dog on the leash outside too to be in the fresh air if they like that sort of thing. My first choice would be to host dogs in our house as we have a pretty good set up for dogs. But I'm willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter area for pet sitting or dog walking because I understand some dogs are just better off in their own space, if it's a short timeframe.

About: I have grown up in a household full of rescue dogs of every breed and mix. In my neighborhood, neighbors have asked me the past few years to watch their dogs and even some cats. It doesn’t matter the dog, big or little, I’ll be more than excited to make a new furry friend! My current schedule leaves me free time during the evenings so I could be your go-to evening gal! I will be available most nights before your dog’s bed times. I feed them, I can give them medicine, and I especially like to play with them! Come treat time, I like to make them work for their treat!

About: I treat my 2 dogs like children. Spoiled rotten. I enjoy animals more than I enjoy humans. Sorry, not sorry. My special skill is love lol I'm a travel nurse, working in different towns. Need more activities to do on my days off. I usually will have 3 days off. I have my dog with me and know how important he is. He is home. I prefer to go to the clients home and check on your dog and let him to go potty and or go on a walk.

Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention and companionship without them being left alone for long periods of time. I’m happy to adjust to their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule so they can feel as comfortable as possible. Having another furry friend around would be a welcome addition to our day! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. We live on just over 5 acres with plenty of space to explore and our own walking trails throughout the property, which are perfect for getting outside, going on walks, and getting some energy out! Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. The more I know about them, the better I can make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar! 🐾
About: I was the kid hanging out in the neighbors dog house when my mom couldn't find me. Ive had a number of dogs since early on. Currently I have 4 dogs that run our household. We treat our dogs with love and kindness and reward with positive feedback. I would like to believe that people want the best for their pets, and with my care they will be treated as you would or better. I work from home currently and have access to let the pups out as needed. The fenced yard is high. They love the space and freedom of no leash. I have a fenced yard and 4 large dogs that play well with others. I do have a separate space if nessecary to keep them separated. I like to engage with the pups to keep them busy.. Hopefully if we play long enough they sleep well for me and you.

About: I have fostered any age dog for 3 years! Have a dog of my own for 10 and grew up on a farm with many dogs and cats. Also going to school for a vet tech. I can take on a couple dogs or cats any day of the week. Someone is always home. Have 7 people in the house with 4 adults and 3 teens. I have a fenced yard and a dog friend to play with. Also have 6 other people i. My home to help out. Am very good at calming animals and have reiki experience with animals.
About: I've intermittently assisted my sister at her pet grooming business over the past 10+years. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. Domestic felines to hybrid. I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life livestock, wildlife and pets, I have a deep love and respect for them. I've always had a pet dog/cat or both.. currently both. My schedule is currently very open daily, weekly, weekends very flexible. I intend to prioritize pet care in hopes of building a good business base for the near future. Pets in my care get all the love and attention. Vet name and number, emergency contact, medications list needed... I have out door tie outs, a zip line tie out, out door kennel, 2 indoor kennels, I'll let your pet sleep in my bed if it's sad. I want the pets to always be as comfortable and stress free as possible, so whatever that looks like for them is what I'll provide.
