“We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. If you have a senior dog with special needs and you're terrified to leave them — choose Patti and Patrick! We will never use anyone else.”
“If we could rate higher than 5 stars, we would. Ramanda and her family took such good care of our dogs, Punky and Elmer. When we have left our dogs with caregivers in the past at times we have worried about their care. We can honestly say we had absolutely no worries with Ramanda and her family taking care of our boys. Communication and attention to details about their feeding schedule, etc. etc. were excellent. Bottom line is that they really, really care about animals and the quality of care they provide. Ramanda sent many pictures of Punky and Elmer with all family members involved with them. Her girls provided so much attention and love that was so much appreciated. It's nice to know your pets will be well taken care of when having to leave them behind. Thank-you.”

About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.

We currently have two rescues that are our life - and we want to welcome your pup into our home. We are heavily involved in the rescue world. “We met Paige in advance of our stay and when we returned to drop off our dog Ginger, she was so excited to get out of our car and run into the many arms of the Welcome Committee. Paige sent us pictures of a relaxed and happy dog. Heartwarming to know our Ginger was having fun and getting some nice walks. This morning when I emptied Ginger’s overnight basket, I noted Paige even cleaned the dog brushes I sent along. We will be back Paige!”
“We were first timers on Rover and Patti and Patrick were the first match that came up... and I never looked for another option. Best decision I made! Our 13-year-old AmStaff, Jackson, had surgery the Friday before his stay and by Monday night, drop-off night, we were in the doggy ER. I texted Patti from the waiting room, explained everything, and without hesitation she said bring him... we want to care for him. We showed up at 11p with a loopy, post-ER dog, a bland diet we'd just cooked up, a pile of medications, and a whole lot of apology. They took him in like he was their own. What followed was a week of daily photo updates, warm compresses on his incision, anxiety meds crushed into peanut butter, small-batch feedings, middle-of-the-night potty runs, and more love than I could have asked for. Patti was his constant and his nurse. Patrick became his cuddle buddy. They even scored him a Dairy Queen pup cup. I cried every single day from the updates they sent out of pure joy, appreciation and knowing our special Jackson was being unconditionally loved and doted on non-stop. They even checked in on him after we got home. They missed him. That's not the job... that's just who they are, and it says everything about the care and love they pour into what they do. If you have a senior dog with special needs and you're terrified to leave them — choose Patti and Patrick! We will never use anyone else.”
“My dog had a wonderful stay with Promise and her dogs! She provided frequent updates, was very communicative, and I know she took the best care of Bo! He got lots of playtime and love, and I had complete peace of mind while I was away. I cannot recommend Promise enough and already have my dog’s next stay booked with her. Thank you, Promise!!”

We were so happy to receive multiple photos a day with detailed messages on what they had been up to! She is super friendly and has a perfect country home and yard that's perfect for dogs!
