About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

Summer is completely open, home anytime. Great yard for animals to play, no backyard neighbors either 1/2 acre yard. I recently moved to St.Augusta Minnesota, while attending paramedic school in minneapolis. I just left my two year job for relocation and have a pet of my own. I’m looking to care for you pets as much as possible while I am in school. I’m able to care for your animal however you need, and am open to your own personal standards. “Sadie, a yellow Labrador husky dog, got to spend some quality time with people and came back happy and content, & slept as soundly as I have ever seen. Crystal (the dog-sitter) said Sadie did well with the children and left the infants alone, so that went well. I was grateful Crystal allowed the dog to interact with the kids and even come into the house. I wasn't quite sure whether Sadie would behave. She did grab items off shelves, a habit I am trying to bring under control, but the dog interacted normally with the people in the house and that went very well. I was very grateful to have found a good home where Sadie felt comfortable staying. The dog-boarding went even better than I had expected! I really appreciate Crystal's kind and caring attitude toward the dog-boarding and will definitely look her up for Sadie the next time I need to find Sadie a place to stay.”
“Shiloh was crying with anticipation when we were 2 blocks away...He runs in the house and paces by the door waiting to see Aspen and Koda....He couldnt have cared less whether i stayed or left...which actually is a great feeling and an indicator of how comfortable he is at Sara's house. we get pictures and updates which is wonderful and we pick up a happy well cared for dog.”

About: I tailor my care to you and your pets, with the goal of providing the same love and structure they’re used to. I love to learn their routines, quirks, and comforts so they feel completely at home. I come from a nursing background, so I am comfortable providing medications and treatments. I have a special love for elderly animals! I also have significant farm experience, so if watching over your farm is also something you need, please reach out! I work Monday-Friday 8-4:30 with a very flexible schedule that often includes several days per week working from home. On the days I’m not working from home, I typically am not gone for the entire day. The flexibility of my schedule ensures I can do what I need to care for your pets while we’re together! My goal is to create a space where both pets and their owners can feel completely at ease. I maintain a calm, clean environment, and provide thoughtful attention and careful supervision.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up with dogs, I quickly became in tune with their needs and can form a bond quickly! I go above and beyond to make every dog I meet feel loved and welcomed. I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses. I’m currently home with my little boy for the summer so my availability is virtually wide open! I’ll be able to provide walks, pets, and so much more. I have an outdoor kennel with a nice house in it if needed. Otherwise, I can provide a crate inside in a calm environment. My 2 dogs are around to play with your dog as well! If you’re worried about my dogs and your dog getting along, I can separate them-no problem.
