About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a 4 year old Black Lab named Bear, and before him I had Coco, a Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix who was part of my family for 7 wonderful years (adopted at 8 and had her until the Rainbow Bridge). About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

We are an active household that enjoys many days outside, but also equally loves cuddling up on the couch for a movie night. At night, your pet is welcome to sleep wherever they find it most comfortable. We have had personal pet ownership experience with blindness, deafness, and separation anxiety in dogs. In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. My career consists of over a decade of hospital-based pharmacy experience, and I am now fortunate to currently work from home. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation. Keywords: home-based, medical needs, special needs, reactive, medication administration. I am generally available to accept same-day bookings as someone who works from home. At this time, my employer allows me to set my own hours, meaning I can easily adapt to your pet's schedule and any medical needs. Bathroom breaks are averaged at every two hours and anytime outside of this at your pup's request. If your pet prefers to spend afternoons in the sun, then that is where I am happy to work that day! Any pets boarded in our home can expect to have a human home a minimum of 20 out of the 24 hours in a day. We welcome your pets to rest and sleep wherever they are most comfortable- couch, pet bed, human bed, etc. If you request or your pet requires kenneling at any time, please ensure a kennel accompanies them to drop off. Our home is carpet-free (stress-free!), and we understand accidents happen. Please inform me if your pet is working on potty training, and we can reduce the number of rooms initially accessible. Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I grew up on a large animal farm where we had bison for 20 years. I went to college at msu Mankato for animal science. In 2016 I started working at a boarding kennel and ever since I have found my life passion of working with dogs and cats. I have 4 dogs of my own on a hobby farm. I have two springer spaniels, my rescue dog that is a chow pit bull, and recently got a golden retriever puppy. I have also been grooming dogs professionally since 2018. I know how to do anal glands, haircuts, nail trimming and buffing, ear cleaning, meds, baths, basically the whole works! I am currently available pretty much everyday for drop ins, walks, feeding, meds, and to give love to your fur babies! About: I have been exposed to dogs and cats for my whole life. I have taken care of many family's animals such as walks, feeding, play time, and bathing . I currently am working part time so I have lots of free time. The time I am available kind of just depends on the time of the year/week. I have a big open yard and I very friendly lab that loves play time with others, although can also be caged if needed. I am very open to any services that are needed.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was in 6th grade when I'd regularly animal sit for one of my neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog, 3 cats, and 2 bunnies. Since then, I've become a dog trainer and can deal with a wide variety of dogs, including dogs with additional care needs. I'm an AKC evaluator and I spend my free time competing with my dogs in a variety of sports! I take special care and pride in the animals I care for. I believe that a well exercised pet is going to be an easier companion and leads to a much happier family life. I have 3.5 acres for your pet to romp around. This will include things like loose leash walking, distraction training, and more. Mental stimulation will tire your dog out faster than physical stimulation so this exciting mixture will leave you with a very happy pup! Of course, if you prefer no training, I'm happy to go along with what you prefer! Lastly, I try my best to create the best relationship with the animals I care for. This means I want your furry friend to love me as much as I love them. I prefer to meet your pet and at least one owner of your pet before continuing into a service. This isn't a requirement, but a strong preference. Especially for extended stays. I work hybrid so I spend 50% of business days working from home. On the weekends, I don't have to go in-office. My entire life revolves around my dogs and adding your pet into our routine will be an easy transition! I have a 3.5 acre yard and 5 of my own dogs. My dogs will crate and rotate indoors with your pet depending on their needs. I keep client dogs separate from my personal dogs and other client dogs unless discussed and agreed upon beforehand so you know your pup is safe. All of my dogs are friendly and play together easily.
About: There is no one like the Nystrom’s, just ask your dog! Our family has multiple experienced caretaker to keep tabs of your furry friends at all times of the day. With permission we will bake dog treats, spoil, and love your pets unconditionally! As we have pets of our own, we can easily and happily incorporate your pets into our daily routine. There is typically someone at home all of the time! We have a room dedicated to dogs in our home including food, water, toys, bedding, and grooming supplies. At the time he was an 11 month old, in tact, Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. He is A LOT to handle. We got daily updates and pictures which was awesome. He appeared to be having the time of his life and not missing us at all. She allows her dogs on the furniture but we don’t. We asked her to keep him on the floor. We received pictures where her dog was on the furniture but ours was on the floor. We appreciated not having to retrain him.”
