About: I've had dogs all my life. We just just put our dog down after 12 years from being raised as a puppy. Our family isn't ready for a new dog yet, but we love the company! As a teacher, my summer is dedicated to being home and active! I am looking forward to a summer filled with backyard play and plenty of attention for our guest pups. Since we’ll be home the vast majority of the time, your dog will have constant companionship. While we might head out for the occasional short day trip or camp drop-off, our schedule is primarily centered around being home, making us very flexible for drop-offs, pick-ups, and mid-day belly rubs! Your pup’s safety is our top priority! We have a fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under constant supervision. Our home is a family environment with three kids who are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals, so we do require that any guest dogs be kid-friendly. Inside, we have stairs, so please let us know if your pup has any mobility issues or needs assistance. We are also happy to crate your dog for meals or naps if that is what they are used to at home. Some breeds I have experience with include: pitbulls, labs, dobermans, cane corsos, boxers, and mastiffs. I have trained my dogs in basic obedience, all with varying degrees of energy level, stubbornness, and intelligence 🙃. While size does not matter, all dogs who enter our home must be child and dog friendly. **To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone involved, meet and greets are mandatory without exception before boarding or daycare. This can take place at a dog-friendly park, or our backyard if you would like to see our home.** *Smoke and alcohol free home *Large fenced backyard *Almost always home I am a full time stay at home mom to a 3.5 year old as well as 1 year old male (neutered) dog. We do not leave him home alone for more than three hours, so your dog would have human companionship and access to the outdoors at almost all times! Our dog is no longer using one, so we have a large crate that your dog is welcome to use if that is what they are accustomed to or have any destructive tendencies when left alone. Our dog gets lot's of love and exercise. We make sure he practices good manners with daily basic training and keep him happy with enrichment activities, walks, and plenty of scratches. About: If i had 100 fenced acres i would probably have 100 dogs. First hand experience with Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, Irish Wolf Hounds, Terriers and Yorkies. I periodically raise and train Golden Retrievers for Leaderdogs for the Blind. If i am completely blocked off for a couple weeks i am probably hosting a leaderdog puppy for another raiser that is on a vacation. It would be tough but if i had to pick the breed i couldn't live without i would put Goldens at the top. Even though i don't let any dogs on my bed i’m known for sleeping on the floor in the living-room with the dogs.

About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. (I will NOT be available on August 13th, 14th, 18th, 20th And November 17th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 26th and 27th) (Limited Availability on August 11th and 25th, and October 2nd) I have a 6ft privacy fence with no gate as well as a 6ft tall enclosed dog kennel that is around 20x10. About: I have worked as a veterinary professional at area clinics since 1997. I am Fear-Free Certified. I have exceptional patience and tremendous energy and LOVE playing with and walking dogs. I can handle all manners of behavior as well as medical care that your pet may need (diabetics, chronic medications, etc). I also do light grooming (bathing, nail trims, mat removal). I am a special education teacher at a local high school. I am available most days and times during the summer months, on weekends and school holidays. I have cages, seatbelts and leashes for transportation. My home has numerous cages, dog/cat beds and toys. My large yard is fenced. I have pet sat in peoples homes as well as provided drop-in service to administer medications/injections.
