“Emily is amazing! She will become best friends instantly with your pup, and she clearly loves them like her own. This was the very first time Cosmo, our 1.5-year-old Brittany, has ever stayed anywhere but our house or with my parents, so I was nervous. She eased my mind after our pre-boarding meet and greet when I saw how dog-friendly her house was and how amazing her 2-year-old German Shepherd Missy is. You can tell she is well-versed in handling all different breeds and temperaments (including my high-energy hunting dog!), and she is responsible and very personable. I highly recommend Emily!”

“From our initial meet and greet to pick-up, Aunt Patti made us feel like we were a valued part of her family. Patti is a pet parent dream. You instantly could tell how much she loves dogs. Well stocked with toys and treats, Patti made sure my pet felt at home. Patti asked all the right questions to make sure my pet would be following the same rules we've set at home. She also made sure her yard was safe and secure for a small dog. Garvey will be returning to Aunt Patti's soon!”

“Elizabeth was great communicating and letting us know the status of our dog Chico. We were very please with her care and services. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“David was great with our two shihtzu boys. He sent quite a few updated over the 5 nights my boys spent at his place. He has a great home and yard for the fur babies. He was also quick to respond for a meet and greet.”

“Beverly is wonderful. My return flight was cancelled so I was stuck in Los Angeles and couldn’t pick up my dog as scheduled. I messaged Beverly and she contacted Rover to modify the booking. She was able to keep my dog until I was back home. Thanks again Beverly.”

“We read great reviews about Nicolle and they were not wrong our mocha baby loved her and she made us feel at peace that Mocha was in good hands. Thank you to Nicole and her family”

“Robert was great with our senior dog, Diamond! He was very communicative and sent messages with photos of our girl during her 2 night stay. He was responsive to all messages and just all around pleasant. This is the first time we have boarded Diamond anywhere and she didn't come home stressed out! I will definitely book with Robert again because our dog was safe and comfortable.”

“Luna loves staying with Lauren & Kevin. When I dropped her off she ran right to the front door! I love when they send me pictures and Luna is playing or relaxing! Love it!”

“Katie was excellent throughout the week while Bonnie was in her care!! she sent me photos every day, with updates. Honestly, it gave me such a peace of mind, knowing that she was with a family that was loving on her.”

“I was nervous because this was the first time I'd left Picasso with someone he didn't know. Ekow was extremely kind and sent updates of a happy dog daily, which made me feel much better. We've found a new sitter and I will definitely be reaching out anytime we need a sitter. Five stars!!”

“Super easy and informed stay with Jess. Even on short notice, she was accommodating and very helpful with pre-visit communication. Will happily have Mitchell visit again!”

As a teacher, my summer is dedicated to being home and active! I am looking forward to a summer filled with backyard play and plenty of attention for our guest pups. Since we’ll be home the vast majority of the time, your dog will have constant companionship. While we might head out for the occasional short day trip or camp drop-off, our schedule is primarily centered around being home, making us very flexible for drop-offs, pick-ups, and mid-day belly rubs! Your pup’s safety is our top priority! We have a fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under constant supervision. “So happy I booked with Kayla to sit my pup while I was on vacation. She kept my mind at ease with all the pictures and the updates. I felt confident she would treat my dog right. I definitely plan on booking with her again in the near future.”

“I would trust leaving my dog here any time. He was loved and cared for by this amazing couple like he was their own. This was my first time trusting anyone with my dog and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Received daily pictures and updates, was able to enjoy vacation worry free. Highly recommended!”

“Amanda and her husband are wonderful animal lovers! My Gidjit stayed with them for 4 nights. Amanda sent many pics of my dog enjoying her doggie vacation with them! I will definitely have Gidjit stay again!!”

“Kerri is an exceptional care giver for our dog Bentley. This was his first time ever with a sitter, and I must admit I was nervous. She put all my fears to rest with her daily updates with pictures and videos. She is a very loving and kind person who has the gift to care for dogs.”

“The regular updates and seeing how immediately comfortable my dogs were alleviated any worries I had about leaving them. Alisa even accommodated a delayed flight so I could pick them up straight from the airport! The room the dogs were set up in had a giant bed for them, which is great because I’ve always allowed them on furniture and am so glad to see how cozy they were. Alisa really is a total professional and so organized, I felt so relieved knowing she was watching them!”

“Erin was phenomenal with my cat. She had a google form ready to gather as much info as possible about my cat, very well prepared. She took the time to play and give him love while I was away, even provided many photos and a thorough description of how the visit went! Would highly recommend for anyone who needs someone to watch their pet(s)!!!”

“Kelly took amazing care of my cat when I was out of town. She sent regular updates which made me feel more at ease for leaving my cat behind. I recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Thank you again!!!”

“Catalina was amazing. She gave daily updates, was great at communicating and also sent pictures (whenever my cat would allow it. lol). My trip took an unexpected turn so I needed an extra day to get back home and she couldn't have been more understanding about it. I highly recommend her!”

“Arianna demonstrated an excellent attention to detail in care of the cats. She went above and beyond outlined duties. Always kept to schedule. She is an excellent cat sitter and I look forward to using her services again. 5 stars!”

“Yvonne was amazing. My cat Ares absolutely loved her. Even when he first met her, he ran up to her and rubbed on her!! Lol She sent me photos daily of them playing together, which I totally loved. She feed him and changed his little box while I away. She even switched up his food because he dislikes eating the same food everyday. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. She deserves 100 stars!! I will definitely book her again!!”

About: Hello there! My name is Ashley, and I am a local occupational therapist. I don’t remember a time where I didn’t have a dog in my home growing up, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs, and I’ve had plenty of cats as roommates over the years. Some facts about me: I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors, I’m passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and I love to get to know new people in the community! I moved back to the downriver area following my master’s program at Eastern Michigan University and I am looking to connect more with the community. I am a very flexible person, so don’t hesitate to ask if you need certain accommodations. I look forward to getting to know you and your furry friends🐾. I currently work from 7:45-4pm full time, however, I am able to board since I work close and come home for lunch. I can also walk/perform drop-in visits for your animals l after work to accommodate different schedules. I have a smaller home with no pets currently residing here, so it’s be a great place to board smaller or anxious animals while you are away.

About: I've loved cats ever since I was a little kid. They're so much fun and have such big personalities! I've cleaned litter boxes my whole life, administer medication for my own cat, and have raised two long haired fur babies.

About: I lived with an old roommate that had two cats that I would always bond and take care of when she wasn’t around or on trips and needed the extra help. I can help with clean up, medication or anything else you might need for you cat!
About: I’m a cat mom to two beautiful babies and have been taking care of dogs and puppies since 10 years old. I’m the “dog aunt” to all of my friends’ babies — the one who gets down and cuddles with them the entire time I’m at their homes. I stop on the street to ask permission to pet every dog, and love carrying treats to give them if their owner is okay with it. I’m the girl who gets puppy fever instead of baby fever and I will treat your baby like it’s my own! I work from home full-time, but find time in my schedule to get walks in at least once a day. I’d love to take your babe on a walk. My family lives an active life and on days they’re out of town or doing other things, I’d love to offer to take care of your furry friend. I’m always up for whatever you need. When people take care of my cats, I’m the one who leaves specific, detailed instructions about how they need to be fed, brushed, and cared for … so, I get it! Feel free to give me obsessively detailed instructions or, if you choose, flexibility. The animals will be well taken care of either way!
About: We’re Emma and Miles, it’s nice to meet you! We’ve been animal lovers since we were little. We love going on walks by the river every day and would love to bring your pup along! I work from home so I welcome any excuse to get out, especially with nicer weather coming! I’m available every day for walks and home drop-ins. I will treat your pup like my own. I’ll be sure they’re taken care of with pup cups, scenic walks, and all of the fresh air their lil hearts desire!

“We moved to the area in July and were really searching for a dog sitter. Our lives changed drastically when we moved as where before we moved someone was home every four hours with our dog Gabe. Moving to Wyandotte changed that as we both commute to work and coming home for lunch is not a possibility. Finding Erin was a God-send. For not only is she an awesome friend to Gabe but she is responsible, dependable and willing to switch her schedule to accommodate ours. That’s pretty hard to find no matter where you live. We trust Erin with the care of our Dog and this is very important for a special needs dog. I can tell you with certainty that WHEN you hire ERIN you get someone who puts your dog as #1. Erin is not only our dogs best buddy but also becoming our friend as well. Gabe’s ears raise to attention when we say “Erin is coming today.” Gabe makes happy noises when Erin comes into the house. Wait maybe God-send is an understatement. Erin has blessed our lives by being that special someone we can trust to come into our house, take our dog for a walk, spend meaningful times with him and leave the house as secure as she found it. Friends like Erin and her husband are the kind of folks you want to have more of in your lives. They are both great people and will not leave you disappointed. In fact you will rest at ease knowing that the care of your family member is in the care of Erin. Most of my reviews I joke around - but I wanted to leave a review from the pit of my heart so you know how we feel about Erin as our sitter.”

“Kelly has been nothing short of great and reliable She is such a great dog sitter/walker I know my dog is so pleased everytime she comes by I regularly book kelly throughout the week and I highly recommend her!”

“I have had Keanna taking my two large black lab mix dogs for walks several days a week (or drop-ins if necessary during rainy days) while I'm working for a couple months now and she's amazing! The dogs love her! She can take both of them at the same time without a problem and they are much more disciplined now on walks in general because of her guidance. She is very reliable and very flexible and also will be house sitting/dog sitting for me the next couple of times I go out of town. Highly recommend! 🥰🐕🦺🐾🐾🐕🦺🥰”

“Shelby did a great job with my boy. This was my first time using Rover and I was relieved to find someone who was so comfortable with him, even as big as he is. They got along fabulously, definitely recommend.”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs as a child and am surrounded by friends with dogs! I travel for work so unfortunately I cannot take care of a dog at home. I have a lot of patience so I can handle the chaos of puppies! I work from home so it's easy to pop out for a walk throughout the day! I work full time M-F and travel a handful of times throughout the year! I work flexibly so as long as I do not have a scheduled meeting I can step out throughout the day for a check-in or walk. I have one cat at home and he is treated like he's the king of the house! He has a cat tree to watch the neighborhood wildlife through the window and get's treats for being brave after getting his daily medicine.

About: I've had dogs all my life. We just just put our dog down after 12 years from being raised as a puppy. Our family isn't ready for a new dog yet, but we love the company! Our home is a family environment with three kids who are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals, so we do require that any guest dogs be kid-friendly. Inside, we have stairs, so please let us know if your pup has any mobility issues or needs assistance. We are also happy to crate your dog for meals or naps if that is what they are used to at home. Since we currently have no other pets, your dog will receive 100% of our attention and love during their stay
“Amanda and her husband are wonderful animal lovers! My Gidjit stayed with them for 4 nights. Amanda sent many pics of my dog enjoying her doggie vacation with them! I will definitely have Gidjit stay again!!”

About: I've been caring for animals all my life and have grown up with them always in the home. I work hard to make sure they feel welcomed and love while in my care since I know it can be hard for them being away from family. I have fostered and volunteered with rescues and local shelters for 10 years. I have also been a wildlife rehabber for 6 years and greatly enjoy helping all animals in need. I do currently have one dog that is back end paralyzed and loves everyone and everything. Im currently working part time from home so I will always be here with the furry friends I am caring for. I have a daily routine of getting up early, letting the doggy's outside, feeding them breakfast, going for walks when the weather allows, lots of toys to play with, feed them dinner and have a good time together. We also work on basic training and enjoying lots of love and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard, wonderful neighbors and a welcoming environment for even nervous dogs. I have baby gates set up as well to keep everyone safe.

“We just moved to Detroit and we needed a dog sitter ASAP so we turned to Rover. We used the service in our prior city and found a good reliable sitter. We lucked out again with Theresa & Adrian. They took good care of our goldendoodle. If they are available, we will definitely use their services again.”

“I am so happy to have chosen to leave my little Jazz with Tonya! Her little boys and her fur babies were a delight and were very receptive of him! When I picked him up, Tonya had him looking so good and fluffy…I could tell she had taken time to brush him🙂 She was really patient with him and I most definitely would like to book with Tonya again in the future!”

“Catalina was amazing. She gave daily updates, was great at communicating and also sent pictures (whenever my cat would allow it. lol). My trip took an unexpected turn so I needed an extra day to get back home and she couldn't have been more understanding about it. I highly recommend her!”

“I am so grateful to Lasya and Seshu for being such wonderful hosts to my beloved Sage. They went above and beyond to accommodate my last-minute booking during a family emergency, which truly meant a lot to me. Sage had an incredible time with Lasya, Seshu, and their adorable dog, Simba. It warmed my heart to see how well Sage and Simba bonded, bringing joy to each other throughout the stay. I can’t recommend Lasya and Seshu highly enough, they genuinely are the best. You can rest assured that your furry friend will be treated with the utmost love, care, and respect in their hands.”
