“Our dog, Fluff, had an great stay and was treated just like family while we were away. Fluff usually has a built-in radar for vets, groomers, and boarding facilities—he’s normally incredibly hesitant to leave the car when we arrive, and when we pick him up after a visit/stay, we typically get the 'stink-eye' and he can't get out the door and into the car soon enough. We didn't have any of those issues at Catherine’s place! He was completely relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know. I feel entirely at ease leaving Fluff with her again and plan to when we leave town again.”

About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, I had a shih-tzu that I raised and currently have an alaskan klee kai that is my soul dog. I LOVE both dogs and cats, they are such a light in this world. My friend and I used to dog sit for her neighbor once a month, and I dog walked for my neighbor every day for two years, as well as dog sat for her whenever she went on vacation! About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.

Fluff usually has a built-in radar for vets, groomers, and boarding facilities—he’s normally incredibly hesitant to leave the car when we arrive, and when we pick him up after a visit/stay, we typically get the 'stink-eye' and he can't get out the door and into the car soon enough. We didn't have any of those issues at Catherine’s place! He was completely relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know. I feel entirely at ease leaving Fluff with her again and plan to when we leave town again.”

“Kayden is very friendly and knowledgable about dogs. Milo, our dog, is elderly and I was a bit worried about the interactions between his energetic dogs and mine. But all went well and Milo came home healthy and happy after a full week with Kayden, his partner and their four-legged friends. The second concern I had was the small outside area he had available for the dogs to do their business. Milo is picky about where he goes potty and, since there was no grass, I wasn't sure how that would go. Again, Kayden handled it well, taking Milo out for walks when needed. I would take Milo back for future visits if the need arises.”
