About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.

She understands the importance of allowing your dog to go at their own pace and acclimate to their environment during the initial meet and greet and each subsequent visit. She never pushes dogs for interactions they aren’t ready for, which is especially important in my case as one of my dogs is fearful and easily stressed. Kathy also has a dog of her own - the tiniest, sweetest thing. Even my very shy dog doesn’t mind her. Overall, I’d say every experience I’ve had with Kathy has been excellent. She’s good with both dogs and people, she’s caring and easy to talk to, and I find her to be trustworthy and dependable. I’m very grateful to have found her!”

About: Cats have always felt like my other half. Since I was 5 I have been rescuing and caring for cats of all ages and backgrounds, and just recently rescued a little kitten that was trapped inside a car. About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! We have a large open park right in our backyard along with short trails. We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and is great with big, small, old and young dogs. We also two cats (a boy and girl) that sleep the day away and love spending time looking outside in the sunroom. My three kids (ages 9 - 14) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I have been caring for a wide variety of animals my whole life, from cats to horses to dogs of all sizes! Large breeds are my specialty, as I have grown up around Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands my entire life, and feel very comfortable handling them. I have cared for many senior and small breed dogs as well, so your pets will receive the upmost care no matter the age or size! I love working with as many unique personalities and animals as I possibly can, and will work tirelessly to make sure they receive the care they need. My schedule is often very open, especially during the summer when classes are out, so I will communicate well to work around YOUR schedule! I will do what it takes to get your pets the care they need when they need it. Safety is priority number one when it comes to caring for pets, for both me and the animals. I am sure to follow whatever instructions are given to me to the strictest degree so you don't have to worry about your pets safety while you're away. When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. I have been walking with large breeds such as Saint Bernards and Great Danes for over a decade, so I feel very comfortable remaining in control. I always carry pepper spray with me as well, just as an absolute last resort in the very rare chance that anything would happen.
About: We offer a quiet environment with private backyard surrounded by trees on all sides. A 6-foot high fence encompasses the entire backyard which allows for your dog to roam and enjoy their time worry-free. There is always a shady spot for a nap or cool spot to soak up the day. Photo updates will be provided to provide that extra piece of mind. Walks will also be given if requested with photo updates as well. Will be happy to follow dietary request to ensure healthy and happy stay. We began watching dogs around 10 years ago. About: One of the best things about life is our pets. I grew up with three dogs who were my bffs, and I have several friends who have cats. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. About: I've lived with pets every day of my life and recently had to move and miss dogs so much! My mom is a vet and a pet trainer so I know how to take care of any pet, big or small, old or young with love and care!
