About: Dogs have always been a part of our family, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. Over the past 15 years, we’ve shared our home with four dogs, including caring for three into their senior years through age-related and chronic health conditions. We’ve also raised a litter of puppies, giving us experience with young dogs and the extra patience, attention, and consistency they require. Because I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods. We have a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and our three dog-loving children have been raised to be gentle and respectful with animals. While we’re not looking to add another dog to our family permanently, we’d love to open our home to yours. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, family environment where every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Our home has a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and all dogs are monitored while outside. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”

Since the first two I have chosen to adopt senior dogs and spoil them for however many years I have with them. My current is a Pomeranian named Lucy who is @ 16 years old. She has developed adult onset Diabetes and she requires 2 injections of Ventsulin daily. I am retired and am happy to work with you and your schedule as best I can. It is my goal to make your departure as easy on you and your pet as possible. I have a fenced in backyard and because of Lucy’s advanced age I had a ramp built for her to access the yard from the deck. About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. About: I’ve devoted my life to animals and taking care of them. I have prior experience in the veterinary field, doggy day cares, and have fostered many dogs over the years for various nonprofits. We live on a small farm and have chickens, quail, cats, rabbits, and kunekune pigs. We also have two dogs. Sylvia is a 12 year old Pit Bull terrier (who is a sweet and lovely advocate for the breed) and Aquila our fun loving 3 year old Icelandic sheepdog. Aquila and I compete in dog sports in our free time. I consider myself especially comfortable with nervous or fearful dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home as well, which allows me to have free time throughout the day to accommodate time slots for pet care. As far as boarding goes, one of us is almost always home. While we do not have a fenced yard, we use a long lead that provides lots of room for your dog to play but still be securely attached to me. Our 3 acres allows for walks in the woods and lots of sniffs around our farm animals. We only board one client at a time in our home because quality over quantity is very important to us. If you have a puppy you can expect any training to be ongoing with us and if desired, we can also do extra socialization and outings. Our two children, while very neutral and hands off, are excellent with dogs and are a great positive experience for puppies.

I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

I treat every pet like my own and focus on maintaining their normal routines while owners are away. I am dependable, punctual, and communicative, and I provide attentive, compassionate care so pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home. My schedule is completely open on the weekends and Wednesdays, and I work part-time Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. But I am available after 4:30 those days. I am only comfortable caring for your animals in their home as I have 5 dogs and 3 cats of my own. All animals are treated as they are my own babies.

“Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”
