When I was 15, the family I nannied for noticed the care I took of their pets and hired me to also pet sit during their vacations-and that was my start to pet care! After being a foster parent and dog sitting through Rover in 2019, I worked at the Harbor Humane Society for over a year. There I learned an extensive amount of information on cats and dogs. Highlights have been how to assess, approach and understand different pets with special behavioral needs. About: I have grown up, been around, and generally loved all dogs my whole life. I can be gentle, energetic, and cuddly with your pup. I come dressed for any kind of weather; rain, sun, or snow! I have experience with giving liquid or pill medications orally also. I’m currently working part-time from home. I’ll be available to play with your pups during the week or most weekends! I’m available mostly during the week, but weekends are not out of the question. I have a golden retriever named Tucker who gets along with other dogs and would love a playmate. He does however, easily respect if other dogs do not want the attention. I am also located in between quite a few dog parks. About: We owned a sweet, energetic Alaskan Husky until our third son was born. Our boys were so good with her and still miss her. We have more space now and are home all the time with a secure fenced yard. Ready to welcome some animal life back in! I just ask that your dog is comfortable around kids. Our boys are ages 3-7. As a homeschool family of 5 we’re pretty much always home. We’re home usually everyday during the week, and weekends after 1pm. We are confident your pup will get the love and attention they need and truly feel at home away from home! We have a great fenced yard for dogs. No pets except two bunnies who live outside in secure hutches. Our boys love all animals and are taught to handle them gently, firm and respectfully. About: I have owned dogs for over 15 years. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up around large German Shepherds, a Doberman and too many cats to count. Today I have much smaller dogs. Mr. Miygai is around 19lbs and looks like a terrier mix but is part Chi and part Mini Poodle. Zoe is all stumpy tail Cattle dog mix and about 30lbs. Both love other dogs and get along great with them. Mr does prefer smaller dogs. Over the years I have owned 2 Dachshunds and a Sheltie Mix who was deaf. My Doxies lived to be 15 years old and one survived back surgery. I have experience taking care of young and old dogs. I am very comfortable with providing medication as well. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, with my shift typically starting at 3pm. My schedule does tend to shift around, but on days I do work, I am flexible with when I can watch your loved one and am willing to visit as much as possible before and after work. However, when I'm not working, I am more than happy to spend as much time with your pet as possible/wanted. While in your home, I will be around your pet 24/7, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I love playing with pets but can also enforce rules and regulations set up for your pet with ease. About: I've been pet sitting for a few years now! I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters, and they were integral members of our family. I absolutely love meeting and taking care of new pets, and I've gotten pretty good at it over time. I'll take dogs on walks, or to the dog park, dog beach, and give them baths if needed. I work monday-friday 9-2 so as long as your dog is good on their own for 5-6 hours, it will work out! Otherwise won't leave them alone for more than 6 hours. About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, family and friends call me when a answer to a question is needed. I'm the go to for fun and trust is needed when your mind needs to be on a vacation or work! I have a successful business than pretty much runs itself. So I'm home, on my bicycle, or at the beach enjoying my time Willing to enjoy my time with what I love most ANIMALS!!❤ I have a friendly 5 year old fixed female dog that can be out or in, away from others or with 2 fixed out door cats that a used to dogs or have room to leave out side of fence, I have very large cages if needed as well. I have lots of room to roam in fenced area I have creek water access out side of fence area I can be very active with dog ( on bike) 3 miles from lake michigan Or chill with low energy dogs
About: I’ve had pets in my house for a majority of my life and have spent that time helping to care for them. I have also been watching others pets for about three years now, including both cats and dogs. Tasks included feeding on a schedule, taking for walks / outside to go potty, cleaning/scooping the litter box, and of course making sure they’re safe and not getting into any trouble while you’re gone. I have hands on experience in watching after and caring for a terminally ill dog for about six months. Those tasks included changing his dressing (he had an open wound that refused to heal), giving medications on a schedule, and giving enrichment that he could enjoy with limited energy. I also have hands on experience with reactive dogs, so please know that I will love your reactive pup just as much. I can do basic training, but my favorite part of the job is showering the animals with love and attention. This is my full time job! I have a few side gigs that I work on remotely and can do from just about anywhere so long as I have WiFi access to communicate with my colleagues! I’m used to many kinds of temperaments, from “you stay in your corner and I’ll stay in mine” to “I need to be as close to you as possible at all times” and will respect your dogs needs. I prefer setting up a time before the sitting starts where I can just get to know the pet(s) and get an idea of their normal schedule. This way they can meet me while everyone is home so they feel most comfortable, and I’m not a complete stranger once I begin sitting or come over to let them out for a potty break.
About: I am a reliable, caring, trustworthy & high spirited lover of all things 4 legged and furry. While you are away, I will maintain your animals happiness by giving it the utmost love & compassion. I also love to encourage the zoomies. Whenever family or friends needed someone to watch their animals, I've always offered to help them out. Have been pet sitting for about 9 years on and off just because I simply like to help out & be around animals. Special skills include working with/understanding animals body language, dog training/handling skills, having an immense amount of patience & a substantial amount of empathy. I just really genuinely love animals (: Week wise; I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to care for your animals. And for weekends, they are always free’d up . In clients home, depending on whichever instructions given; I am able to comfort them in home if they are a homebody dog. If needed to be created I can do that. If they enjoy a lot of stimulation & activity I can cater to those needs as well & can take your dog out and about for a day on the town.
About: I have grown up, been around, and generally loved all dogs my whole life. I can be gentle, energetic, and cuddly with your pup. I come dressed for any kind of weather; rain, sun, or snow! I have experience with giving liquid or pill medications orally also. I’m currently working part-time from home. I’ll be available to play with your pups during the week or most weekends! I’m available mostly during the week, but weekends are not out of the question. I have a golden retriever named Tucker who gets along with other dogs and would love a playmate. He does however, easily respect if other dogs do not want the attention. I am also located in between quite a few dog parks. Quincy park, East End Park (both fenced) Kirk Park, which has a great dog beach! Mulligans and Pigeon park are a couple of other places I love to walk (or run) my pup! We love going to dog parks!! My husband and son also would also love to play with your pup! If you bother to look at my pictures, it is pretty evident that we love to take our dog everywhere with us! My husband will also bring our dog to work with him.
