“Frances & her family were the perfect ones to take my Sadie for a week while I was away! They were able to make her feel at home and entertained enough so that she wasn’t miserable, like if she had to stay at a kennel. Plenty of treats and snuggles shared with fenced in yard to get out some energy. It was great to get daily updates to know how she was doing, and happy to know she warmed up after the first night of being in a new place. Will definitely book again if needed :)”

“My pup looked happier than she has looked in a very long time! Brittany and her family took Echo in like she was family and that made my heart so happy! Even got her to eat when she was boycotting her food! So grateful I have found her- won’t go anywhere else!”

“We loved leaving our two dogs with Brenda during spring break! She was very easy to work with and a great communicator. She sent us regular updates with pictures of the dogs. Her yard was the perfect set up for them (huge fenced in space), and she is conveniently located. Drop off and pick up were very easy to coordinate, and the dogs were happy and healthy when we got them home. I can tell they had lots of fun playing outside!”

“Terry and Chuckie did a fantastic job of taking care of our fur baby Sophie. Communicated very well and sent pics every day. You can tell they truly love dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Derek was wonderful! We had a three-day family event at Connor Bayou park nearby and needed a place in the area for our shy dog to stay. Derek was very accommodating with pickup/drop off times and even let us pick our dog up for a few hours one day to make an appearance at the event. We had a perfect weekend! Derek was very kind and understanding of our shy dog, and our dog had a great time! He has great "dog vibes" which our sensitive dog definitely picked up on. I highly recommend Derek and I would definitely use him again!”

“Pamela is a great dog sitter. Hazel loved her and was worn out from playing. I’m sure she can’t wait to go back for another visit. Thank you again Pamela, for taking such good care of our pup.”

“I had such a great experience with Sylvia! She was very attentive, kept me updated with pictures and videos, and was flexible with timing. She even took my dog to the beach and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and well cared for. My pup came home clean, loved, and spoiled. She was so sweet to my dog, and I’ll definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“I am very happy to have found Stephanie! She watched Goldie for 5 days while we traveled out of state. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. She sent pics and kept us updated. I’m sure Goldie got all the attention she wanted! I have already booked the next service! I trust Stephanie and would recommend her.”

“Christina and her family took such great care of Oliver during our recent extended family vacation. Christina was an excellent communicator and was very flexible with adjusting Oliver’s care instructions when needed during his stay. We are so grateful that Oliver had a place to stay that gave him the same TLC he receives from us at home.”

“Erin and Brian were great communicators and took good care of Cedar. They clearly love animals and have created a space where pups are welcome. Cedar enjoyed having playmates for the weekend and came home to us in a chipper mood. We’ll definitely plan to hire Erin and Brian again when we have future pet sitting needs.”

“Anne was great with Murphy! He stayed for a week and I received picture and status updates daily. Murphy was well taken care of and he loved playing with their dog as well. I would definitely request Anne to watch Murphy anytime we needed a sitter. She is highly recommended!”

“Chip LOVED his stay with Felix. He came home truly tuckered out after a weekend of fun, and even learned to bring the ball back with fetch. I asked Felix if he wanted Chip’s travel crate and he said “where I go, Chip goes” which honestly gave me such peace of mind being my first time leaving him. It’s clear that Felix loves dogs, and I knew my Chip man was in great hands. We will definitely be seeing Felix again!!”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing with my two loving but rambunctious dogs. She accommodated me needing to board them very last minute and then was super kind and accommodated when I needed to extend their stay an extra few days. She took the time to get to know them, their needs, routines and was very good about sending updates/pictures daily. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks Melissa!”

“Roman was fantastic watching our little Lilo. This was her second time staying with him and his family. They always are excited to have her. She gets walked and they send photos daily. Highly recommend”

“Dawn was an exceedingly reliable and personable pet sitter for our indoor and outdoor cats. Our shy indoor girl was quickly won over and looked forward to Dawn's visits, brushing and playtime. We enjoyed getting the daily pics and reports. Communication throughout the entire booking and engagement was stellar. We will absolutely ask for Dawn next time we're both away from home!”

“Just fabulous. On our meet and greet, Barts (my cat) took to Maggie immediately. During her check-ins, I got timely updates and plenty of photos - playtime, open window time, snacks and cuddles. Excellent communication at all times. Maggie even helped me out by watering some plants, and took the initiative to take my trash can out to the curb for pickup even though I hadn’t mentioned it. Upon arriving home, I was greeted by a very happy cat even though I’m sure he will miss her. At least until the next time because I won’t hesitate to book Maggie again if she is available. 🙂❤️”

“Elexis is amazing! She came and did a meet and greet with my two guys. Everyday she was on time and sent great photos a and updates on the two. Responsible, friendly, responsive, and caring describes her the best. She loves what she does and cares just as much as you do about your pet.”

“Allison was a great sitter and friend for Smitty for the three weeks we were out of town. There were many visits involved over this time period and Allison did a good job communicating with us about Smitty's various walks and play-times, what kind of mood he was in, whether he drank some water after play-time, and other info. She really cares about Smitty and enjoys the work. We highly recommend Allison!”

“What an amazing experience to be able to be gone for a long day and know that Millie was loved and well cared for by Lexi!! We definitely will set up more dates with her! Thank you so much!! 😊”

“Thanks to Amanda, I am able to relax on my travels! She communicates well and keeps me informed. She had to give meds to my six-month old kitten and handled it very well. She is dependable, trustworthy, and loves animals like they are her own.”

“Brandi was extremely helpful last minute despite it being the busy holiday season. She is great with communication and giving extreme affection to your loved ones. I have no doubt you will be worried one bit with her in charge!”

“Caroline was awesome! It was our first time leaving our baby, and was constantly missing our baby, but Caroline constantly communicated to us and gave us peace of mind. She took extra effort to care for our baby and make sure she’s not too overwhelmed, everything we asked Caroline, she did! Though we wouldn’t want to leave our baby Eos again for a long vacation, we know exactly who we want to care and feed our baby again. Thank you Caroline :)”

About: Growing up my family always owned one or two golden retrievers at a time and instantly fell in love with the breed. I worked at a dog boarding/day care facility for about 3 years. I’ve worked with many different types of breeds along with all sorts of temperaments. With that came taking care of dogs of ALL ages. I’ve handled up to 15 large dogs at a time, also handling cats. Absolutely loved my job and hope to continue working with animals:) I work at a School in Grand Haven, Monday-Friday till around 4p.m. (Sometimes later) So, my evenings are open to walks & drop-ins. My weekends are still available for house sitting, drop-ins, and walks! In the summer there is lots more availability! I was lucky enough to grow up with a mom that did full time pet sitting at one point and got to tag along on all her trips. I also pet sit for family and friends. Including overnights, walks, and administering medications, eye drops, pills, ect. So, I know how important it is to be mindful of someone’s else’s home and their four-legged (sometimes three) loved ones.

“I came to Grand Rapids on a last-minute work thing and didn’t want to leave Roxy in the hotel alone for 4 to 6 hours in the evening. I reached out to a couple of folks on rover and Miranda was one of the first ones that replied and was able to take Roxy. This was my first time as a doggy dad leaving Rox with with somebody I didn’t know. We met Miranda at her house and after meeting her found that she is truly a really nice person that truly loves animals and made it easy for me to leave her there. Roxy took to her almost immediately. I picked Roxy up the next morning and everything was great. She’d been walked and had play time few times and she was her normal goofy happy self. Great job!”

“Lauren always takes great care of my elderly cat. She communicates very well about what’s going on with my cat during visits and about any time she might need to adjust our schedule.”

“Kevin did a wonderful job taking care of our cats while we were away! He was responsive and was even able to make friends with our very shy kitty. We would hire him again in the future!”

Whether your pet needs lots of exercise, gentle companionship, or simply someone dependable to check in, I’m here to help. My job allows me to work remote and I homeschool my children who are also great assistants. You can rest assured your furry family member will get alot of love and attention. I work from home and homeschool my 2 teens. We have a very flexible schedule that makes us a great fit to care for and love on your fur baby. I have a large partially unfinished basement with room enough to run and play fetch. Couches to jump on or sleep on. Crates are also an option if needed.
“We cannot state our appreciation for Beth further— she helped us out in a complete bind. We’re not from the area and travel with our dogs often so thought nothing of it when we had a wedding to attend in Holland but one dog decided she didn’t want to be quiet in our accommodations and we were told to figure it out or be evicted from the hotel (understandable). We put the call out to a few dog sitters over Rover and Beth responded quickly with compassion and responsiveness. We were able to drop our dogs with her after a very easy-going meeting to make sure all parties were comfortable and safe. It was easy to see Beth cared and had a great operation. We were able to attend the wedding and reception afterwards with peace of mind. We just scooped up our pups and they’re completely, happily pooped. I would recommend Beth to anyone who is looking for someone with a giant heart and generous soul to take care of their pups. Thanks again, Beth!!!”

“Ben was great! Our “Li’l Dude” came home happy and tired from an active day! Ben generously offered to run Li’l Dude back to our campground, saving us time and a drive! We are already planning our next booking with Ben while we are vacationing in the area! Thx!”

“Jacy was absolutely fantastic! Cinder had an amazing time with her. She sent frequent updates throughout the day along with lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her home and yard were the perfect place for pups to run, play, and have a great time. What really set her apart was how she went above and beyond. At the end of the day, she surprised us with a few printed photos of Cinder to take home, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and the people who trust her with them. We could tell Cinder was happy, well cared for, and having an absolute blast. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Jacy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional Rover sitter!”

About: My first job at 12 was dog walking/sitting but I have been a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with dogs and adopted my cat about 8 years ago. I have cared for both young and elderly dogs/cats as well as those with special needs and medical conditions. I am currently a stay at home mom with my five year old son. My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I'm currently a full time student at Northern Michigan University, so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! “My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.”

About: I’ve had pets in my house for a majority of my life and have spent that time helping to care for them. I have also been watching others pets for about three years now, including both cats and dogs. Tasks included feeding on a schedule, taking for walks / outside to go potty, cleaning/scooping the litter box, and of course making sure they’re safe and not getting into any trouble while you’re gone. I have hands on experience in watching after and caring for a terminally ill dog for about six months. Those tasks included changing his dressing (he had an open wound that refused to heal), giving medications on a schedule, and giving enrichment that he could enjoy with limited energy. I also have hands on experience with reactive dogs, so please know that I will love your reactive pup just as much. I can do basic training, but my favorite part of the job is showering the animals with love and attention. This is my full time job! I have a few side gigs that I work on remotely and can do from just about anywhere so long as I have WiFi access to communicate with my colleagues! I’m used to many kinds of temperaments, from “you stay in your corner and I’ll stay in mine” to “I need to be as close to you as possible at all times” and will respect your dogs needs. I prefer setting up a time before the sitting starts where I can just get to know the pet(s) and get an idea of their normal schedule. This way they can meet me while everyone is home so they feel most comfortable, and I’m not a complete stranger once I begin sitting or come over to let them out for a potty break.
About: Hi! I'm Sami, and I am THRILLED to meet your loved one. ME AS A SITTER: My number one priority while caring for your loved one is their comfort. I believe having patience and allowing your pet to make the first move is important when first establishing a routine or any sort of bond. Anything you or your loved one needs for our time together, I'm there for it all! I have always had a passion for animals and find it an absolute blessing to spend time with any and all. WHAT I CAN DO: I am comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. This includes pets that need medication, special dietary restrictions, or even pets that don't like to be too close but just need a little company- I'm just happy to meet your pet no matter what they need! MY PET BACKGROUND: I have experience housesitting with dogs/cats for up to a week. In this time, I maintained the house, watered plants, fed both cats and dogs, took care of trash and mail, etc. My family has had up to 8 dogs at once, ranging from puppy to senior. Now, we currently have 3 dogs and even a pet rabbit. I found a passion for training pets/encouraging good behavior, which led me to teach my pup tricks like roll over, bang bang, dance, etc., and we both loved every minute! We also took in a stray feral cat (was stuck in a car hood, long story), and for the past few months I have successfully worked hard to make a connection and bond with her! I do also help care for the cat in my home in Indiana. I have given pets medication many times, including wound care, vet visits, and special feeding instructions. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, with my shift typically starting at 3pm. My schedule does tend to shift around, but on days I do work, I am flexible with when I can watch your loved one and am willing to visit as much as possible before and after work. However, when I'm not working, I am more than happy to spend as much time with your pet as possible/wanted. While in your home, I will be around your pet 24/7, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I love playing with pets but can also enforce rules and regulations set up for your pet with ease. I can handle crating, leashing, feeding, picking up messes, and more. If housesitting, I am happy to assist in pickup and general house upkeep, including trash night, collecting mail, dusting, etc.
About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
