About: Over the past several years, my love and admiration for cats has grown tremendously. I was visiting shelters, cat sitting for friends, and eventually I fell in love with my own tiny lion and he has become my world. I pride myself on adapting to whatever a cat may need. Am I the just the poop cleaner and food giver or am I a new friend to play with, get scratches from, and snuggle? About: I’ve taken care of all of my pets since a very young age. I love every animal I see as if they are my own! Animals bring me so much joy and I wish for them to have the same happiness. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! My pets are my babies and every animal I see automatically becomes a baby. I had a special needs German shepherd who was in a wheelchair and needed a ton of special care and attention. I’m not afraid to do the dirty work that pets need to thrive and be happy whether that’s my own pets or my clients. I’d treat them as my own.

She was kind, sweet, and incredibly responsive every time I messaged her. I have a miniature bernedoodle and a Shih Tzu currently that I raised from puppies and they are very well behaved. I have watched an older dog who needed liquid IVs and pills and everything went well with him. I currently have three dogs at home. I work part time and can schedule work every week based around what I am doing, so I am pretty much always available as long as it’s about a week in advance. I can be at home as much as needed! I have three friendly dogs (two don’t like to play much but one loves to play) at home and no cats in the house. We do potty breaks every couple of hours which consists of just letting the dogs out in the yard which is not fenced in. Whenever I watch dogs at the house, I am always certain to take the dogs out on leash. If the puppers aren’t the best on leash that’s alright as well, I just use a harness or whatever the owners provide.

About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, but I had my first dog 19 years ago. I am very comfortable scooping poo, litterboxes, cleaning up vomit, and checking for abnormal bowel movements and eating habits that may be from stress while you're gone. I'm great at reading a dog and cat's body language, so I am patient about letting them control the speed at which we get to know each other. I love going for walks, and am used to handling dogs on leash that may get reactive to people, dogs, cars, etc. I've worked with horses in the past, so I can handle a large animal getting excited. Most importantly, I want your dog or cat to have fun! let's play! I work freelance from home, so my days are very flexible. I can do mornings, midday, and evenings very easily. Mon-Sun, and most holidays I am in the Ann Arbor area I will ask where your pets favorite safe spaces are in their home, where they like to hide, where they're favorite treats and toys are. If your dog just needs to romp in their backyard, I'll follow whatever your home procedure is if they need to be cleaned up after or not. I'll also keep an eye out for indicators of stress: vomit, accidents inside the home or outside the litterbox, scratches or bites on furniture, destroyed toys, etc.
About: I currently have a small dog with diabetes and need to give her insulin every 12 hours. Both of our babies have a health care plan with our veterinarian and all vaccinations are up to date. They both love taking walks in the park and riding in the car. My other dogs previous to these were 15 years old plus. I love dogs and dogs seem to love me too. I have a fenced in back yard and a large house. Our babies normally have run of the entire house. I would love to work in the Humane Society although, I would want to take them all home with me. It also saddens me to see commercials with the neglected animals and the conditions that they are subjected to. I wish that I could save all of the dogs that are neglected. I have taken care of dogs since I was thirteen years old. I have also taken care of friends dogs when they are gone on vacation.
