I had the warmest Rovwr experience I’ve had yet just during the meet and greet. Amanda asked lots of questions to make the stay go as smoothly as possible, and sent frequent updates and pictures. Amanda’s two kids were very gentle and loving to my little dogs as well. I am grateful I found Amanda on such short notice!”

“We were apprehensive about a long stay with a vacay out of the country. So we decided on a meet/greet overnight to be sure Alexandra’s household was a good fit for our sweet but sometimes sassy girl:) From the start, Alexandra was so warm and welcoming. And to our relief, our dog got along with hers and they’ve since had a 13 night stay together. Alexandra sent some cute pics and kept us updated. She is such a lovely person and was able to put our minds at ease. She took great care of our dog and we will definitely book with her again. Ohhh….the fenced backyard is a bonus cuz our dog LOVES to run! 😊”

I would not hesitate to go out of town if Tasha is available. Thank you for such wonderful care. You are the best!”

“Dan and Kelly are awesome. They sent pics and updates which we loved. By the end of his 5 days Pocket got into the groove there and did great. Matter of fact he loved it so much that he was pouty the entire day after we brought him home. It is hard to leave pets. With Dan and Kelly one can relax and know all is well. Super grateful. Thank you to Dan, Kelly and the gang.”

“We were SO pleased with how Erin and Brian took care of Willow! Even with little quirks that Willow had, they were willing to adjust to make her comfortable. We would highly recommend them to watch your fur babies.”

“Jasmine lovingly made sure our 3 adored feline family members had fresh food and daily loves (at least for the 2 willing to come out for pets). About: I have grown up with dogs and have a soft spot for them. I have a four year old very high energy, playful but docile GSP. I will walk, watch, feed and create a stimulating environment for them! I work from home and have flexibility during the week to help out. I am also open most weekends for dog sitting or boarding . I will make sure pets are handled with love and care and will treat them as if they were my own. This might mean lots of belly rubs, snuggles and treats. My home has a fenced backyard and many dog beds and toys. I am happy to stay with your dog at his or her home if that is most comfortable for them and if my schedule allows.

About: I am the friends and family dog sitter! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I could still pet them for hours and not get bored. On average I stay at someone houses for a week while they’re on vacation as well as but not as often a weekend stay. As well as drop in visits to feed, walk or let pets out to do their business. I am great will all breads and sizes of dogs/cats, as well as ages such as senior animals. I personally took are of our 90lb 11 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback after her back legs gave out. So while using a harness I would help her do everything, such as standing up to eat, move around and go outside. I can also do things like trimming nails and bathing them (especially if you unable to bath them yourself). I truly care and feel for every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently not working full time at the moment and have been doing small jobs here and there such as dog sitting for friends and family. I have a great portion of time for spend getting to know and engaging in your pets. I’m available anytime after 9am. I will care for your pets the way I would care for my own and in such continue their regular and daily routine. Including things such as walking them in the morning/night, playing with them and loving them or any other needed or wanted activities.

About: What sets me apart is the care, attention, and trust I bring to every pet I look after. I understand that pets are family, and I treat each one with the same love, patience, and respect I would want for my own. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to following each pet’s unique routine. I’m comfortable providing extra care for senior pets, pets with special needs, and those who may need medications or additional patience and reassurance. I also believe the little things matter—from keeping food and water areas clean, refreshing litter boxes, maintaining a tidy home, and noticing small changes in your pet’s behavior that may be important. My biggest priority is communication. I love sending regular photo and video updates so you can feel connected and confident that your pets are happy, safe, and receiving the attention they deserve. I don’t just watch pets—I build trust with them and their families.
“Amanda was there when she said she’d be there and communicated great through the whole process. Very friendly and she helped me out with the pup on a very long day. Will use her again!”

“Great experience for all. Kristopher and his family were warm and welcoming. They have a fabulous dog of their own to play with. Lots of fun in their great room while meeting. Their farm has horses, goats, chickens so you know they love animals. 5 1/2 stars!”

“I was visiting from out of state and only had a couple of days of notice but they were able to help. My 100lb Labrador was happier about going each day. Thank you!”

“Jacy was absolutely fantastic! Cinder had an amazing time with her. She sent frequent updates throughout the day along with lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her home and yard were the perfect place for pups to run, play, and have a great time. What really set her apart was how she went above and beyond. At the end of the day, she surprised us with a few printed photos of Cinder to take home, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and the people who trust her with them. We could tell Cinder was happy, well cared for, and having an absolute blast. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Jacy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional Rover sitter!”

About: I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra care! I've been working with neighbors and have been recommended to others due to my reliable and compassionate pet care. In addition, I have completed countless volunteer hours through the Humane Society of West Michigan's Dogs Day Out program, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of varying temperaments, energy levels, and care needs! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for any pet care needed on weekdays and weekends! In my own home, I have one cat who loves to lie around the house during the day and snuggle next to me at night! My #1 goal is to make sure your pet is having fun in a safe and comfortable environment at all times!
About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!
About: I've always loved working with animals. My family has owned pets that range from large dogs to small kittens. Since I was young, I've grown in experience taking care of farm animals and household pets. Some of my jobs have included training a puppy to do some basic tricks, caring for an older pup in her last days, bathing dogs, playing with cats, long walks with high energy dogs, and cuddles with the low energy ones. I'm currently working as an intern in downtown Grand Rapids. I'm able to work around my flexible schedule to give your pet the care that it needs. Typically, I work all day Thursday, but I'm willing to work with you to fit your schedule best! Since I am in an apartment, I am sadly unable to provide boarding services at my residence. However, I have a car and am more than willing to travel to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home!
“My dog is pretty anxious when it comes to new people/being around people when I’m not present, but Jasmine is so great with him! She was able to meet him prior to becoming his dog walker and he loved her instantly.”

“My two Scottie’s can be a lot to handle. One’s super energetic and the other is an anxious barker. Suraya provided me updates and pictures that set me at ease. The daily two walks, while i worked, kept them happy and tired! Thank you for helping during a holiday week!”

I care for every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and patience. Communication is one of my top priorities. You’ll receive regular updates with photos and videos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or simply enjoys relaxing at home, I’ll tailor my care to their unique personality and needs. My goal is to earn your trust and become the sitter you can confidently rely on whenever you need dependable in-home pet care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I intentionally schedule my days around the pets I’m caring for. Whether I’m providing overnight care or drop-in visits, I make it a priority to be dependable, on time, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy spending quality time with animals, so I make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, affection, fresh food and water, potty breaks, and any medications or special care they need. “Very nice guy! Have had Noah walking my dog Bayley for a couple weeks now and he's been very nice and respectful of my home! Easy to communicate with! Definitely recommend!”

About: Hello my name is Justin L, I am 39 years, single, no kids and work full time. I lost my dog about 5 years ago and it was very hard to deal with. I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so I figured I might as well get my dog fix by helping others out on their vacation or their busy schedules. I always grew up with dogs and have had them all from small to large. Dogs are a mans best friend is the most true statement and I will always provide the best care for those dogs. Life would be so boring without dogs in it. I hope at some point in the future to get my own dog. I am available after I am off work. Depending where I’m working and where you are located I can possibly swing by during lunch time as well. I like to listen to what the owners say as far as what their preference for how they want their pet to behave. Any parameters with the house they typically write them up and I keep them updated throughout the day with photos of the pets.
About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
“Jillian. was perfect with our puppy, Hershey. Hershey has a lot of energy and when Jillian. walked her she was so tired that the dog actually fell asleep on Jillian.‘s foot while we were chatting after the walk. This is what I had hoped for! I definitely recommend Jillian. as a very qualified and capable doggy care person.”

About: I may be new to Rover, but I am not new to caring for others. I am a lifelong dog owner and currently have a dog of my own, so I understand daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and providing a safe, loving environment. I am also a parent and work in childcare, which has given me extensive experience with responsibility, patience, and following specific instructions. I’m comfortable sticking to routines, recognizing needs, and providing attentive care. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with a loved one. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I give my own family, and I’m happy to follow any instructions to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, especially long-term and weekend care. I’m available Thursday nights through Sundays, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care without rushing or overbooking. As a dog mom, I understand the importance of routines, exercise, feeding schedules, and recognizing pets’ needs. I’m used to planning my days around caregiving and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a large yard for supervised outdoor time. Since it’s not fenced, dogs are always closely monitored and leashed as needed. I have a friendly dog who enjoys company, and two children who love animals and are taught to be gentle and respectful. Pets are never left unattended. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, and I truly cannot imagine life without them as part of the family. That is not just something I say. It is how I live. I have had cats since I was six years old, and my wife and I have shared our home with both cats and dogs our entire adult lives. Right now, our little crew includes our ten year old dog Nara and our two younger cats, Chiri and Lulu. Living in a multi-pet household has taught me how to read different personalities, manage different energy levels, and create a calm, respectful environment where everyone feels secure. I do not see pets as property. They are sentient, emotional members of the family with their own routines, preferences, and boundaries. When I care for your pet, I approach them with patience, attentiveness, and genuine respect. I adjust to their temperament. High energy or shy. Playful or independent. Young or senior. My goal is always the same. Make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their own space. My wife brings years of pet sitting experience and previously worked as a dog trainer and consultant. I have learned a great deal from her about behavior, structure, positive reinforcement, and how to respond calmly in different situations. That experience has shaped how I show up with animals. Steady. Observant. Consistent. When caring for your pets, I focus on: • Keeping routines consistent • Providing appropriate play and enrichment • Maintaining clean food, water, and litter areas • Offering calm companionship when that is what they need • Sending thoughtful updates and photos so you feel completely at ease Leaving your pets in someone else’s care requires trust. I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat your pets the way I treat my own. With patience, kindness, and real affection. If you are looking for someone who understands that your pets are family, I would love to help. 🐾 My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I focus on keeping their routine consistent, with regular potty breaks, play when they’re up for it, and plenty of companionship rather than quick, rushed visits. I’m available for afternoon and evening visits, weekend care, overnight stays in your home, house sitting, and extended care when needed. Whether your pet needs a few check-ins during the day, weekend coverage, or overnight care, I’m happy to work around what fits best for you. I aim to be present, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and I’ll send regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is comfortable and well cared for. If you have specific timing or needs, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to find a setup that works well for you and your pets. 🐾 Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets, whether in your home or mine. In your home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walking preferences, and any household guidelines you provide. I’m attentive to details like doors, gates, leashes, and secure areas so your pet stays safe at all times, and I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. My approach is calm, patient, and low-stress. I use fear-free handling techniques and pay close attention to behavior and subtle changes, especially for pets who may be more sensitive or require extra care. I’m also certified in Dog CPR & First Aid, so I’m prepared to recognize and respond appropriately if any concerns arise. I believe in clear, proactive communication. If anything seems off, I’ll reach out right away so you always feel informed and at ease. I aim to create an environment where every pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. They’re family, and I treat them that way. 🐾
About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. That experience gave me a deep understanding of obedience training, behavior development, socialization, and building trust with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home dad, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I have flexibility and availability throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. “Natasha was very accommodating to our travel delays. She sent lots of pictures and updates. Natasha is our #1 dog sitter. If you're wondering which Rover to book, you'll be so happy if you choose Natasha.”

“Kailee took excellent care of Milo. He was loved and well cared for. She sent frequent photo updates during his stay and was fast to respond to any questions before and during his stay and was helpful and accommodating.”

“Repeat customer here. Goose loves hanging out with Christina, Michael and the family! They take great care of Goose and always send regular updates so I never have to worry while I’m traveling for work.”

“Christine and her crew were incredible and did a great job. Thor came home exhausted and without any bad habits (begging from the table, attempting to get on furniture, etc). Great communication before and throughout the stay. Thor loved his time with Cornelius and is looking forward to his next visit.”

“Thank you, Suraya, for all your care with Baxter! We appreciated the daily updates and pictures while we were on vacation. He seemed so comfy and happy while with you. We are grateful for your level of great care with him.”

“My dear sweet Oli had never been away from me. I wasn't sure if I should go to visit my sister. Tasha did a fabulous job! Kind, understanding, and pictures or videos daily. I felt so good about it.

“couldn't be happier with the help Melvin and his partner gave us, we were at a bind and they came to the rescue! On top of that our Moka was treated like family and they sent pictures regularly, we will definitely ask for their help later on. 1000% recommended !”

“We had a fantastic experience with Jacob and his wife! Niko stayed with them while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he received. They sent regular updates and adorable pictures that gave us so much peace of mind. Niko really enjoyed being with their dogs too. Not only was Niko clearly happy and well cared for, but he also came back walking better on the leash—an unexpected and much-appreciated bonus! It’s clear they truly cares about the dogs they looks after. We’d absolutely trust him with Niko again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible and thoughtful sitter.”
