Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: Hello my name is Justin L, I am 39 years, single, no kids and work full time. I lost my dog about 5 years ago and it was very hard to deal with. I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so I figured I might as well get my dog fix by helping others out on their vacation or their busy schedules. I always grew up with dogs and have had them all from small to large. Dogs are a mans best friend is the most true statement and I will always provide the best care for those dogs. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, including training my own service dog and raising a puppy. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to learn their routines, triggers, boundaries, and individual needs. I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding walks, feeding, medications, access to your home, and any special care your pet requires. I’m also comfortable caring for animals with different needs, thanks to my experience with my own dogs, a special-needs cat, rabbits, rats, and fish. I believe good communication is an important part of pet care. I’ll keep you informed about how your pet is doing and will reach out promptly if I notice anything unusual or have concerns.
About: I’ve taken care of big & small dogs and even cats of many kinds & sizes too. Whatever is needed, I make sure it gets done properly and that the animals are happy. This is something for me to do in my free time, I work part time and am going to school. I can be flexible with notice. I have a very large property for dogs to run around on, however it is not fenced so a leash or something is needed for when outside.
About: I know dogs very well. I used to pet sit when I was young and still do. I’ve had many dogs a few cats and some fish. I am currently not working at a place with a schedule. I have no human children. No school, my schedule is open. I have time to meet pets needs. I have a nice yard on the lake, I leash up the fur babies and walk about a mile twice a day. About: I have been a Pack Leader at The Indoor Dog Park and Daycare since March of this year, I am now looking for a more flexible way to work with animals. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s of Biology in hopes of working with animals someday. I have lots handling experience, as well as a deep understanding of animal behavior. Below are some skills I practiced at The Pack: -Supervised large play groups of 25+ dogs simultaneously, ensuring safe social interactions and preventing aggressive behaviors. -Monitored canine body language and group dynamics to intervene early and de-escalate potential scuffles or stress-related issues. -Implemented safety protocols and facility rules that maintained a 100% injury-free play environment across shifts. -Observed and recorded daily changes in animal appetite, behavior, and physical health, reporting concerns promptly to management and communicating daily report cards and behavioral updates to pet owners, building strong customer loyalty and trust. -Controlled intake and release procedures, verifying owner identification and vaccination records for every dog. -Maintained strict sanitation and hygiene standards by regularly disinfecting play yards, kennels, and shared equipment. My schedule is yet to be fully set, so just ask! Anytime might work! I currently am free for a good period of time most days. I am not currently offering pet sitting at my home as it is an apartment and I don’t like confining dogs to such a small, unknown space. In the future I am hoping to have a house in the country with a large yard for my animals!
About: I am older and very experienced with both cats and dogs from babies to senior care to transitioning. I care for extended family pets when not home I work a part time flexible schedule so my availability is your convenience. My only day off is Sunday which I set aside for family My pets are my family. I volunteer feeding and caring for family/friends pets when they are away from home over night or away on vacation
About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. I will give the same care for your puppy any time I am around it!
About: I have 2 dogs of my own that I have raised since they were puppies. My family has always had dogs that I helped out with throughout my life as well. Very flexible schedule and able to accommodate a lot of different times for people with busier schedules! About: I have 5 dogs of my own, ranging from a cattle dog to a pitbull.I have no problem taking care of any type of animal and I have experience in all fields of care, including bathing, walking, nail-trimming, and more. I’m free from 6am-11pm on weekdays! I do work full-time but my boss is lenient and he’d have no problem with me tending to your furry friends! I personally have 5 dogs in a non-fenced in yard but they are all very well trained. I would prefer to keep your animals in the comfort of their own home though due to my dogs being very playful, if your dogs are comfortable being in a high-energy setting it would be no problem but they don’t need added stress from my rowdy bunch.

Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”
