She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. About: I have been a dog owner since I was a little girl with two little miniature poodles. Have had a love for animals and caring for them ever since. I have always wanted to work with animals but have not had the money for schooling. Attended a Vet Tech. class at the Allegan Tech. center for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of working with all types of animals including helping with doggie daycare, walking, bathing, and just plain having fun with them. I love to help out family and friends in caring for their loved animals while they are away. :) We have a house with a fenced in yard for room to safely run around. Our little dog named Rupert is older but just minds his own business lol. We recently have lost a German short haired pointer named Arthur at a young age of 5. We are still heart broken. While waiting to find another new dog to love as our own we would be happy to love and care for your dog!

About: I’ve had at least one pet cat for as long as I can remember and I truly think cats are the best. I currently live and travel with my senior rescue cat and bff, Ducky. Ducky has FIV and has required a lot of care over the years, and I’ve been happy to do it. I respect the unique personalities and boundaries of all cats and love meeting new kitties. Your pup will get plenty of attention, reserved just for them. In addition to letting the pups enjoy each other’s company, we do brushing, treat time, one on one play time, and lots of just “hanging out” on the couch. I grew up with dogs always around me. I have had experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from Chihuahua to great dane, separation anxiety to squirrel chasers. My interests have led to a solid understanding of dog behavior. We will not allow fighting, just playing. We take great care of, and pay close attention to all furbabies and their interactions with each other when they enter our home. I enjoy working with, training, playing, and snuggling with the pups, and I teach my children how to do the same. Your pup will have almost 24/7 supervision while they are with us. I will happily sleep with them on the couch or the giant beanbag if they seem anxious or upset during their stay. My husband works from home, as do I most days, so they are guaranteed to have almost constant company. We have playmates and snuggle buddies aplenty, gates to block off sections of the house as needed for feeding, play style, treat time, etc. A lovely neighborhood for our walks, and a large fenced in area for the pups to play outside safely. A little bit about the pups who call us their people: Delilah is very tolerant of her furry friends – especially the puppies! Mostly, she prefers to watch the happenings from a favorite spot on the couch, and sleep – a lot! Isabel is an easy-going little girl. She likes to play with her friends but is mostly content to just be by her people. Blu is an exuberant, happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play. He is not a dominate personality even when another dog challenges him. He just wants to play! About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! LIFE UPDATE!!! I’ve been hired as a camp counselor at Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day care and overnight boarding facility! Right now I have training scheduled from June 30 to July 2 and July 6, all for days I’ll be unavailable from 11 am to 3 pm. Once I’m done with training, I should hopefully be getting a work schedule that I will use to update my scheduling here on Rover! So please forgive me for the next couple of weeks while I get everything settled! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so I figured I might as well get my dog fix by helping others out on their vacation or their busy schedules. I always grew up with dogs and have had them all from small to large. Dogs are a mans best friend is the most true statement and I will always provide the best care for those dogs. Life would be so boring without dogs in it. I hope at some point in the future to get my own dog. I am available after I am off work. I like to listen to what the owners say as far as what their preference for how they want their pet to behave. My schedule is pretty flexible. Im a stay at home dog mom! So I really only need to go home if I need to let my dog outside to potty. My significant other is home in the evenings and weekends Let me know your routine and I will follow as instructed. i enjoy whatever your pet enjoys! Whether it’s multiple walks a day or just chilling on the couch! I also can administer medications from insulin injections to just daily pills.
About: I personally have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. My one pup, which recently passed, was a small Shi-Tzu/Chihuahua female, who was spunky and loved to play and cuddle. My current dog who is living back in Michigan is a 5 year old Husky male mix. He is a rescue pup, flown in from Lebanon (the country!) after a vet found him severely wounded in the streets. He loves to run, and is the biggest attention hog now! I also have had 3 cats, 1 currently- a fluffy orange tabby who is an absolute dork but lovable nonetheless. He does not currently live in the apartment with me, so I miss him dearly. It is quite rare for me to meet an animal I don't feel comfortable around! I am currently working part-time and control my hours, so I am extremely flexible with whatever needs your fur babies may need! I do not have any current vacations planned either. I'm always cautious of safety for any animal. I like to get as many details from the owners on what their animal likes/dislikes so that I can create a comfortable environment for them.

Hershey has a lot of energy and when Jillian. walked her she was so tired that the dog actually fell asleep on Jillian.‘s foot while we were chatting after the walk. This is what I had hoped for! About: I have years of experience. I have worked with aggressive a and hard to handle animals as well. Medications. Walks. Baths. Cuddles. Play time. Excitement. I’m available 100%. I am a very active person. I enjoy long walks and going to the creek a lot. I do not currently have a job. I am excited to play with your pups and take good care of them and lots of outside time. Lots of attention and affection. Lots of outside time and walks and playing. If medications are needed, I can do that as well. Lots of cuddles.
About: I have over 30 years of experience working with and caring for dogs. I have owned many dogs of various breeds and sizes over the years. I have experience competing in different dog sports with my personal dogs. I have 32 years of experience as a Professional Staff Trainer at Paws with a Cause, where I trained Assistance Dogs. I use positive reinforcement when training and caring for dogs! I have availability during weekends and evenings after 5:00. I do have one rotating day off during the week that I am available as well! Safety is my main concern when caring for your dog. When outside, your dog with always be on leash or in a fenced in area.

“Emily was absolutely amazing with my puppy! She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. I will definitely look to her first when needing a sitter in the future.”

About: I have been a dog owner since I was a little girl with two little miniature poodles. Have had a love for animals and caring for them ever since. I have always wanted to work with animals but have not had the money for schooling. Attended a Vet Tech. class at the Allegan Tech. center for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of working with all types of animals including helping with doggie daycare, walking, bathing, and just plain having fun with them. I love to help out family and friends in caring for their loved animals while they are away. :) We have a house with a fenced in yard for room to safely run around. Our little dog named Rupert is older but just minds his own business lol. We recently have lost a German short haired pointer named Arthur at a young age of 5. We are still heart broken. While waiting to find another new dog to love as our own we would be happy to love and care for your dog!

About: I know dogs very well. I used to pet sit when I was young and still do. I’ve had many dogs a few cats and some fish. I am currently not working at a place with a schedule. I have no human children. No school, my schedule is open. I have time to meet pets needs. I have a nice yard on the lake, I leash up the fur babies and walk about a mile twice a day. Trips out the yard I’m between. I have an electric fence I haven’t put in yet.
