Catherine kept the dogs entertained with frequent walks to the park next door and plenty of play time. She paid careful attention to our instructions to reinforce our training. Catherine handled a kerfuffle between our dogs wonderfully, separating them as soon as it happened and attending to their needs right away. She communicated clearly throughout. I have a fenced area in my yard, a doggie door and a very friendly senior dog. He's a little loud sometimes, since he's a Beagle but it's all love. Your fur baby will be super happy here. About: Hi !! I’m Jasmine and I’m a student at U-M so I’m available most of the entire summer. I write music for a living so the times I’m away from home will be for premieres and other things but I’ll update my availability to reflect my summer travel (which isn’t a lot). Otherwise I’m free any day. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and my childhood dog lived to be 18, so I have experience with senior pets as well. I can administer medications, I will take them on frequent walks, feed them on their schedule, and have plenty of play time. I have a loving and sweet fur baby named Blossom who is a toy poodle/ bichon frise mix. She is comfortable around dogs and cats and if anything is a little shy. She’s not crate trained so I’d allow your pet to roam freely through the house. Anything I do for Blossom is what I’d do for your baby unless you tell me otherwise, and she’s treated like a princess! I know visits away from home can be a little stressful for your fur baby, but rest assured I can handle any situation and make sure your baby feels at home. Expect many pictures and videos! I live a little bit outside of Ann Arbor but getting to me from Ann Arbor would be a short drive. My neighborhood is very dog friendly so it will be no problem! I care for my pet A LOT throughout the day, so walks, feeding, play time, anything is completely a part of my daily routine. I take Blossom on walks numerous times a day so if you have a pet that isn’t house trained yet, I think having her around will be helpful for them to learn how. If in my home, everything is already safe for pets to be there. I don’t have any carpet so I’m not concerned about pet messes, I can clean them up easily. I’m very attentive to my own pet and would be just as attentive to your fur baby. I’d invite you to come see my place before your pet’s stay to see if it’d be a good fit. If in your place, I will follow any rules you have for me.

About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 minutes. If the weather was bad I would walk the pet and play with them inside their home. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a big sniffer male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs. Every visits ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

“Catherine has sat my dogs twice, each time for about a week. When we brought them back, they were super excited to see her! Catherine kept the dogs entertained with frequent walks to the park next door and plenty of play time. She paid careful attention to our instructions to reinforce our training. Catherine handled a kerfuffle between our dogs wonderfully, separating them as soon as it happened and attending to their needs right away. She communicated clearly throughout. I highly recommend her, especially if your dog can use some additional socialization!”
“We had an absolutely great experience leaving our dog with Darcy and Dan for a full week. From the start, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, which immediately put us at ease. They sent us daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated, and it was clear our dog was happy and well cared for. Even with cold weather, they made the effort to play with her and keep her energy levels in check. When it got too cold outside, they were thoughtful and flexible, making adjustments to ensure she was still comfortable and getting the attention she needed. Their yard is a great size—good for a high-energy dog—and it was obvious they genuinely enjoy spending time with the dogs they care for. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters and would absolutely trust them again in the future. We highly recommend Darcy and Dan to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and attentive dog sitters!”

“Kayden did a terrific job with my 18 week old puppy. I'd been having significant behavioral problems with the pup and Kayden did very well with her and offered me guidance to help get the problems under control at home. Kayden was very responsive to my questions while I was out of town and sent photos as well. Kayden was extremely well organized in managing my dog's meet 'n greet and all the elements of her six day stay. I'd been worried about leaving a very young, not fully house-broken dog but she clearly had a great time. I'm not sure she wanted to return home! Kayden went above and beyond all my expectations.”

“Wow - Anna was an amazing sitter! We were a little nervous leaving our pup (Uki) with a new person, but right from the start, we knew she was in for a great experience. Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. She went out of her way to make Uki special treats, accommodate her dietary preferences, allowed her on her sofa, and took her on long walks, and showered her with attention. Honestly, I imagine Uki was a bit sad to leave! We are so grateful to Anne for her attention to our pup and would rebook with her in an instant/recommend her to all our friends. Great first experience with Rover!”
“Elizabeth and Brian were vey attentive and interested in learning my dog, Sky's, care needs prior to her stay. Sky stayed one night to make sure this was a good match before she stays longer during a summer vacation. Sky was seemed happy at pick up and was her normal self when she returned home other than being a little more tired from playing which is not a bad thing. I feel confident having Sky return later this summer for a longer stay.”
“Laura was wonderful. She had a fenced yard and two dogs for our dog to play with. She was so understanding when he had some loose stools. Even fed him some rice. She went above and beyond. I wish she had clones in every place we stay. Would definitely use again. She also kept us updated and sent pictures.”
