Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I’ve always enjoyed having dogs and cats as pets. I truly believe a dog is the truest friend a person can have. They deserve love and amazing care! I work part-time and am available to walk dogs or dog sit most all days and times. Saturdays and Sundays are not a problem at all. I do not have a fenced yard, though I do have a nice large back deck that we can enclose pets in to enjoy the outdoors while being safely locked in. We also live on a very quiet street with virtually no traffic and I love taking my own dog, Julie, for walks in the woods. She would love company! He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Having worked in veterinary clinics for about 10 years and grown up on a farm, I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages, energy levels, and many medical needs while also recognizing when something doesn't seem quite right. I treat every home with the same respect I would want for my own, keeping it clean, secure, and following any instructions you provide. You'll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and receiving the same level of care I'd give my own animals.
About: Ive been around animals my whole life. I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was 8 years old with my family and have had my own cat on my own for a few years now. This includes puppies, kittens, senior dogs and cats, and anything in between. I believe every animal deserves the best care they can get and there is no such thing a a bad animal, only bad owners. Im very high energy but also very patient and do a lot of studying in my free time so I can take care of high energy animals or animals who do nothing! I am also a firm believer on not harshly punishing animals ESPECIALLY hitting them, I’d rather redirect! Im currently wanting to make this a full time gig on top of doing DoorDash in between visits if I’m not staying full time! If I’m staying full time the only time I’d leave the house is to go to the gym, but if that’s not possible in a specific situation that is okay! I can do anything your animals needs at your home. Whether it be going for a walk/run or playing, as Im very athletic. Cleaning litter boxes or picking up poop. Washing dogs or cats. If they want to cuddle or just run around Im good with anything!
About: I’ve owned and/or taken care of over 20 dogs in my life ranging from puppies to my 14 year old senior dogs. I currently volunteer at a local shelter to take dogs hiking every week and would love to help get your dog the exercise they need and deserve. As a life long animal lover I’d love to take care of your furry friend! I am currently a senior at GVSU and am looking for a flexible work opportunities! I am available most afternoons and evenings. About: I have been taking care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors for around 6 years, since I was 14. I love all animals of all ages and sizes! I go to school full time and work, so I have more availability on weekends if your pet needs to be let out often. If your pet can go around 5 hours by themselves, I am available any day of the week. I have stayed at many houses overnight, or just gone a few times a day to check on pets. I am willing to do either of those things! I also worked at a dog and cat boarding kennel called Anderson Creek Kennel in Ludington, Mi for 4 years and loved every second I got to spend with the fur babies. About: I’ve lived with dogs all my life and I’ve loved every minute of it! Moving away for college has made me realize how much I need a furry friend in my life but currently I don’t have the schedule to have one of my own. I love going to the shelter and participating in “Doggy’s day out” and giving them a fun day they will never forget! I am trusted by many to care for any dog big or small, young or old! Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there!
