“There wasnt a parrot care on that website so I asked Lyle if he could care for my parrots , as there is unfortunately no options for birds ! So he agreed and came over to change food and water And did exactly the way I asked him to do! He was on time at each appointment ! I would also mention that he is trustworthy as nothing was missing in my home not that i own a Monet painting or something loll but it always can be an issue when you have a stranger in your home! About: I have had animals my whole life and couldn't live without them, healthy, sick, energetic, lazy, you name it. I love taking care of them, loving them, playing and snuggling with them. I work from home and have a fenced in yard. I am available during the week from as early as 6am to 6pm. Our dogs are free to go outside anytime, weather permitting. I am home to let them in and out the 100 times a day they bark to go out ;). I will only dog sit for one family I have a fenced in yard. My pets are never left outside when we leave the house. I do offer over-night stays. Dogs are welcome to sleep in any room they feel comfortable in. Most sleep in our living room or next to my bed. I do not have a crate to put them in. If your pet is crate trained and requires a crate, we just ask that you bring yours with you for them to sleep in if that's what they are used to.

I write music for a living so the times I’m away from home will be for premieres and other things but I’ll update my availability to reflect my summer travel (which isn’t a lot). I can administer medications, I will take them on frequent walks, feed them on their schedule, and have plenty of play time. I have a loving and sweet fur baby named Blossom who is a toy poodle/ bichon frise mix. She is comfortable around dogs and cats and if anything is a little shy. She’s not crate trained so I’d allow your pet to roam freely through the house. Anything I do for Blossom is what I’d do for your baby unless you tell me otherwise, and she’s treated like a princess! I know visits away from home can be a little stressful for your fur baby, but rest assured I can handle any situation and make sure your baby feels at home. Expect many pictures and videos! I live a little bit outside of Ann Arbor but getting to me from Ann Arbor would be a short drive. My neighborhood is very dog friendly so it will be no problem! I care for my pet A LOT throughout the day, so walks, feeding, play time, anything is completely a part of my daily routine. I take Blossom on walks numerous times a day so if you have a pet that isn’t house trained yet, I think having her around will be helpful for them to learn how. If in my home, everything is already safe for pets to be there. I don’t have any carpet so I’m not concerned about pet messes, I can clean them up easily. I’m very attentive to my own pet and would be just as attentive to your fur baby. I’d invite you to come see my place before your pet’s stay to see if it’d be a good fit. If in your place, I will follow any rules you have for me.

I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.
About: My husband & I grew up having both dogs & cats. Neither of us have professional experience. However, we have watched family members or neighbors pets on top of taking care of our own (2 y.o. Beagle & x2 7 y.o. cats) We both value talking to animals & providing them with whatever environment they prefer, be it more playtime, a shady quiet napping spot, or sun bathing. As most know cats can’t necessarily be trained but nevertheless ours are well behaved. They do have their claws but they have never scratched or bitten (unless playfully) anyone. Our beagle is also well behaved, albeit goofy, & trained with Whole Hearted peanut butter treats. We do still currently have a cage but it is very rare we use it, mostly from when she was a younger puppy. Our animals do fine around others. The cats have an escape to the basement with a gate so if they are crabby will go there. Our dog will sometimes make the classic beagle howl at first but is never a threat. I am home most of the time. We have a child under the age of 1 but she is generally excited by all dogs & cats. My schedule is flexible. If there is someone who would like to make long term arrangements that would be okay to discuss. We live in a neighborhood off a dirt road with a decent sized back yard. There is no fence. We put our dog on a chord if she is unattended but usually will also be outside. There are trails going all around the neighborhood that are perfect for dog walks. We have a farm behind our house that has 2 horses gated in. They are friendly & our dog will get excited if anything. There are multiple households in our neighborhood with dogs. Inside the house, dogs will have lots of choices when it comes to resting spots; sunny or more dark quiet spaces.

While I don’t keep a crate on hand, I’m happy to accommodate one if you provide it and can easily transport it when necessary.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 and I am veterinary technician with a year of experience and I’m planning on getting my license in the fall! I also have some training experience and I have a pittie at home with some behavioral issues so I’m no stranger to difficult dogs! I do work a full time job at a vet clinic but I am available over nights, some weekdays and weekends to either stay with your fur baby or just stop in to let them out and feed them! I unfortunately cannot have dogs come to my house, but I am respectful and cleanly! I don’t mind staying at your house with your dog, cat, or any other animal you may have! I am great at reading animal body language and sticking to your animas routine! Your babies needs will all be met and more with me watching them!
About: I’ve had animals all my life and since i don’t currently have them at the moment I LOVE spending time with other peoples pets! I have watched multiple family and friends pets when they go on vacation and really enjoy the company of animals for a few days! I work with our therapy dog that we have at work, and have also volunteered at the humane society! I have somewhat of a hybrid schedule depending on the week, so depending on what your pet is use to we can try work around it. “Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”
