Huge she let's him sleep with her at night as that is what he is used to with me. “Alyssa was wonderful! She checked in on our 5 cats daily while we were away. Three of them are less than a year old and like to get into messy situations. One of the adult cats is not very social with the other pets or people, but Alyssa made time to sit with her each day so she wouldn’t get lonely. On day two there was an issue with the door lock, but she was great about communicating with us and hiring a locksmith to get her back in the house the next day. She made sure we weren’t charged for the day she couldn’t get in. It’s my first time using the Rover app, and I’m super pleased we connected with Alyssa.”

We have 5 cats, 6 litter boxes, daily medication, and occasional vomiting/peeing outside the box. Elise handled everything matter-of-factly, like she has seen and handled it all. About: I worked for five years as a veterinary assistant/technician at a facility that offered boarding, where I became kennel manager. I'm confident working with seniors, medical cases, behavorial cases, and puppies. For all weekend drop-ins, my partner Alex will be accompanying me. I will be doing all pet care, but for my safety he'll be accompanying me. He'll be there to provide a little extra affection and play-time for your pets if they're interested. My schedule is open! I am a stay st home wife so I'll be able to devote plenty of time to your pets. I will have my partner, Alex, accompany me to all first visits for safety. He will also accompany me on any weekend drop ins. All pet care will be done by me, but Alex will give them a little extra love when applicable. About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.
“I’ve been having my puppy stay with Daniel and his wife periodically throughout the week for the past month. First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! About: Yes I am new to sitting but I will make sure your pet has a home away from home so that you don’t need to worry about them I make sure that my dog is walked and fed early morning at 7am and walked through out the day after that my dog gets walked every 4 to maybe 5 hours due to his high energy I make sure they get along with my dog and we play and go on walks very often due to my dog is very high energy

About: I may be new to Rover, but I am not new to caring for others. I am a lifelong dog owner and currently have a dog of my own, so I understand daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and providing a safe, loving environment. I am also a parent and work in childcare, which has given me extensive experience with responsibility, patience, and following specific instructions. I’m comfortable sticking to routines, recognizing needs, and providing attentive care. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with a loved one. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I give my own family, and I’m happy to follow any instructions to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, especially long-term and weekend care. I’m available Thursday nights through Sundays, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care without rushing or overbooking. As a dog mom, I understand the importance of routines, exercise, feeding schedules, and recognizing pets’ needs. I’m used to planning my days around caregiving and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a large yard for supervised outdoor time. Since it’s not fenced, dogs are always closely monitored and leashed as needed. I have a friendly dog who enjoys company, and two children who love animals and are taught to be gentle and respectful. Pets are never left unattended. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority.
