“Lindsey was wonderful! She took great care of Cosmo, sent pictures every day, played fetch with him, and was happy to let him hang out outside as much as he wanted. She has a great backyard for dogs. We will definitely send Cosmo to Lindsey again!”

“Tara and Gary were able to accommodate my last minute request. Sending me pictures and video keeping me in the loop of little rockys first time away from home. She treated rocky like her own and he was tired out from the fun he had. You can tell they really care. Thank you again for taking care of my fur baby!”

“I appreciated Dawn’s flexibility and compassionate care for my little Chico. She kept me informed of his activities and also updated me with pictures. Definitely will be rebooking with her if I need a sitter.”

“Shannon was very good with our dog. She kept us posted on how he was doing with posts through Rover and lots of pictures. I could tell our dog felt at home with her and we found her communication and service with our dog to be top notch!! We will definitely use her again. A+ and very grateful.”

“Leslie was amazing from start to finish. This was my first time using Rover, and she was so wonderful I wouldn’t do it any other way. She sent us daily updates with photos, and followed all of our instructions. Huckleberry enjoyed his time with her so much, I don’t think he wanted to come home! I would highly recommend Leslie’s services, and if timing works out for us in the future, I have no plans on using anyone else”
“Chris and Cass were great! Very patient, kind and flexible. As sweet as our pitbull is, sometimes it’s hard to find a sitter because of the stigma that surrounds the breed. They even had our back when our flight was cancelled multiple times, forcing us to extend our dog’s stay. I’ll definitely be rebooking with them when needed and highly recommend them.”

“I can’t thank you enough for helping me last minute watching Chelsea last week. The energy of your person and your home space is so grounding and calming was the immediate presence that I was relieved with upon meeting you. I needed my baby somewhere safe and peaceful and you provided that thank you beautiful human would love to work with you again! Tipped you in cash.”

“This is our second time with Amanda. Amanda was Awesome!!! Our fur babies enjoyed staying with her. I will highly recommend using Amanda. Pictures were sent often and she was flexible with our schedule. Amanda and her husband are Heaven sent.”

“Irma & Daniel took great care of our dog Leo. They gave him his medication and sent us pictures and updates daily. We are so happy with their service. Thank you so much!”

“Our dog Bear stayed with Dena and her family for the third time, and he had a great time! We will continue to be repeat customers because they are so kind and caring towards our dog. It is helpful to know that while you are gone, your pet is loved and cared for.”

“Megan watched my 12yr old Maltese for 5 days, and was a wonderful sitter. He came home happy and tired from all his play time with new friends. Bentley looks forward to visiting with Megan and Milo.”

About: I’ve had dogs almost my whole life. I am able to administer medication, give baths, take walks and give all the belly rubs needed. My goal one day is to foster dogs and cats, caring for your fur baby will give me all the experience I need to care for other animals until I have the space to do it. I just love them all! I generally work from home with a very lenient schedule. My kids are all grown and out of the house leaving me with a lot of free time. I just have one dog and one cat, but I would love to love more!! I do not have a fenced yard so I would be walking your dog for potty breaks. I do have a crate I can use in home if needed. For doggy day care we would schedule a meet and greet beforehand. I am available almost anytime for walks and feeding if necessary. For cats I am available for feeding and litter box cleaning.
“Amie and her family are wonderful! She is a great communicator and sends daily updates, which gives us reassurance that our dog is being well taken care of. She treats our dog like he is another member of their family, which we so appreciate. Our dog requires a lot of love and attention, which her family provides to him. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you, Amie and family!”

About: I've had the pleasure of growing up in a dog household ever since I was little. I have worked with a number of various breeds but have had the opportunity to raise a German Shepherd as well as my current Australian Shepherd and Blue heeler, who both have plenty of energy. I’ve been blessed with finding a work from home job as an RN and am free most days to help your pup. I took a little break from Rover but am back now that I have a more flexible schedule. Looking to meet your pups and create a consistent schedule ! I have a decent sized fenced backyard that will give your doggo plenty of space to run around with my Australian shepherd dog. I also have space for a crate if they are crate trained.

“WOW! Lindsey was amazing. More than amazing. Everything I could hope for in a sitter. Within 2 days she had my super shy girl sitting on her lap. This took my husband at least a year and a half to get to that point. She sent pictures showing the same shy girl playing with a wand without the other two cats butting in. They all loved her and from what I could tell, each kitty had equal play and loving. I came home to clean litter boxes, fresh water, happy cats, and a vacuumed house! She genuinely cared about my babies. I almost want to take trips just to have Lindsey come over and love on my cats ❣️”

“Elizabeth took care of my two kitties every day for over three weeks and I could not be happier! I was very worried about leaving them for so long, but she took excellent care of them and even got my very shy boy to come out for some cuddles. The pictures she shared every day and the bonus videos she sent me left no doubt that my babies were happy and healthy and being loved. Thank you, Elizabeth!!”

About: I've been a devoted cat owner for over seven years and currently have two cats of my own that I absolutely adore. Living with cats has taught me how unique every personality is, and I'm comfortable caring for cats of all energy levels, from playful and outgoing to shy and reserved. I understand that every cat has their own routine, and I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm happy to play with active cats, give quiet cats the space they need, refresh food and water, scoop litter boxes, and provide plenty of attention and affection based on their individual needs. I've also cared for friends' and family members' cats in the past and know how important it is to keep owners updated. I'm happy to send photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. If your cat needs medication, I'm willing to do my best to administer it given the cat's comfort level. My goal is to treat every cat with the same care, patience, and love that I give my own.
“Leslie did a great job with daily drop in visits for my senior cat. She is reliable and spent quality time with my baby. Would absolutely book with her again. Thank you!!!”

“This is an amazing sitter. She watched our elderly cat and sat with him and talked to him, gave him a clean bowl every time and gave us great pictures! Thank you rhonda!”

“Amy is kind, dependable and took great care of my cat, including the administration of medication twice a day. She sent frequent updates and pictures and kept my home in good order. Highly recommend. Will use again.”

“Sheila was great with my two cats while I was away for a week! Lots of updates & photos, everything was kept super clean & she even dealt with some upset stomach situations. She socialized and played with my most social cat & took time to bond with my skittish who actually came out for pets at one point - which is a rarity. I came home to two happy cats! I would 100% recommend her & will book again in the future!”

“Megan was incredible! This was my first experience with Rover and she made it very easy for me. I was booking within 3 days of when I needed Franklin to be boarded and not only was she quick to respond but she was able to look after him too! She watched him for five days and was very flexible so when I was unable to get home at a decent hour, she was able to watch him until the next day so I could pick him up. Franklin is a kitten with seemingly endless energy and it looked like she was able to get him to calm down. Megan also gave me updates on Franklin every day so I could be at ease that he was doing well. Overall, Megan was excellent and I will definitely check in with her first when I need a pet sitter!”

“Shelly was fantastic with Nightwing and Turdle! She took care of all of their needs and even confirmed Nightwing was in his room when our evening sitter (my partners mom) was unable to locate him. She kept us updated on all of his mood changes as well as was able to get our half outdoor/indoor cat Turdle in! She really trusted her to be able to do that, which was fantastic for only meeting her a few times! ♡♡♡ Will absolutely be booking with her again when we're out of town for a few days!!!”

About: My husband Kyle and I have had dogs our whole life and have always enjoyed spending time with them as well as training them. We currently have a cat and a fox red lab who is very loving, incredibly smart, and well trained. We also take care of dogs for family members when they are on vacation or at work for an extended period of time. I am a stay at home mom currently. I just had a baby in November 2022 and I’m looking to make some extra income for our family. I am home all day and have a half an acre fenced in yard for the pups to run around and play. When my husband is off work, he loves to play with the dogs and help train them. We have a fenced in yard to play in and go potty. We also have a very friendly Labrador retriever dog who could keep your dog company or if preferred we have enough space to separate them in the house or a large crate for your dog if that’s what is preferred as well. Whatever makes you most comfortable as a dog mama or dad is what we will do to best take care of your furry friend.

About: If i had 100 fenced acres i would probably have 100 dogs. First hand experience with Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, Irish Wolf Hounds, Terriers and Yorkies. I periodically raise and train Golden Retrievers for Leaderdogs for the Blind. If i am completely blocked off for a couple weeks i am probably hosting a leaderdog puppy for another raiser that is on a vacation. I have a lot of repeat customers and look forward to seeing their dogs get excited when they pull into my driveway. It would be tough but if i had to pick the breed i couldn't live without i would put Goldens at the top. Even though i don't let any dogs on my bed i’m known for sleeping on the floor in the living-room with the dogs.
“Had a great 1st time visit with Karen. My dog Zoe has some anxiety but I noticed right away that she seemed comfortable in Karen's home. She spent the day with Karen. I got a photo and a nice update during the day . When I picked Zoe up she was happy to see me and was very content. In the past when I boarded her she came home and seemed very nervous for a while but staying with Karen for the day she seemed very much at ease. I am very happy to have found Karen and I feel comfortable trusting her with fur baby.”

About: I have been caring for animals since elementary school. I watched cats and dogs for neighbors and friends of the family. As I got older, I started getting referrals for pets from around the community and cared for those animals too. The arch of my kindness and care is not limited to animals, as I also provide care for the elderly. I cared for both of my grandparents and my father until his passing. I currently provide care and other services to a 104 year-old young lady who is believed to be my community’s oldest living resident and yes, she still walks and does not use a wheelchair. I am self-employed and have a very flexible schedule. I can care for your pet any day of the week (unless I have another pet scheduled for that day) and at times convenient for most people. I am here to follow your instructions and schedule without deviation. Your fur baby will be feed exactly at the time(s) directed by you, same with any medication(s). For dogs, I will take them outside for walks and indoor/outdoor play as weather permits, and see that their water is always fresh with some treats and cuddles too. For cats, it is play and more play; plus fresh water and treats, then snuggling when we are done.

I have a fenced backyard and one well mannered if energetic pup. Your dog will receive as much love and care as my own. From snuggles on the couch to long walks around the neighborhood and games of fetch in the back yard.

She was patient, attentive, and very understanding of all the instructions I provided for Tommy’s care. I felt confident leaving him in her hands and would definitely recommend her.””

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’m a proud cat mom to three rescued cats and grew up surrounded by dogs. I also cared for my diabetic dog and became comfortable with administering medications and providing extra medical attention. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have taken veterinary technician classes because my dream is to build a career in veterinary medicine. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to provide safe, loving, and attentive care. 🐾 I recently moved to Michigan, so Rover is currently my full-time focus, which means I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. My typical availability is Monday through Friday, but I understand that pet care needs don’t always fit a set schedule. If you need care outside of those days, please reach out, I’m happy to do my best to make arrangements! 🐾 I currently have three cats of my own, so I prefer to provide care in my clients’ homes where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routines. However, if needed, I do have a fully fenced backyard and can discuss boarding on a case-by-case basis. I always prioritize safety by keeping dogs leashed during walks, carrying treats for positive reinforcement, and paying close attention to each pet’s behavior and body language. I know how important it is to stay connected while you’re away, so I’ll send plenty of photo and video updates to give you peace of mind and let you see all the fun your pet is having. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while treating them like one of my own.
About: I have been around pets my whole life! All of my family members have pets. Cats, dogs, even some have had chinchillas, bunnies & snakes. I love animals so we are always taking in strays and trying to find them a better life. I have three cats currently and one is diabetic. I work three days a week in the office and two days I work at home. I usually work a second job on Saturdays but depending on scheduling may be off! When I’m working from home, I’m available all day. On the days I’m in the office I will be gone 8-5:30. I have a fenced yard and will always provide walks for dogs! I have a wide variety of toys from my previous dog. I have three cats so the dog must be okay with cats :)
About: Truly love animals. I can provide excellent references that will confirm that your will be loved and your home will be safe while ai am there. I I will walk your dogs in my care and play with them outside. Animals sleep with me unless the owner would rather they were caged. If medicine is required I would be diligent to administer to your pet. During the day animals sit in my lap or lay on the couch beside me. Your pet will be very loved from the beginning! I'm retired and home the majority of the time. For trips to the bank or drive thru, dogs go with me and ride shotgun safely. We will follow your dogs daily routine and adhere to any rules and regulations about your pet and your home. Some dogs would rather not go on walks and I'm good with that.

“Shelly made sure to be very quick to respond and to keep us updated every step of the way. When it was too cold to go outside for a walk (single digits!) she switched it up and played indoors. I mis booked the dates and she was extremely understanding and flexible which was so appreciated. Thank you Shelly!”

“Lindsey was wonderful! She took great care of Cosmo, sent pictures every day, played fetch with him, and was happy to let him hang out outside as much as he wanted. She has a great backyard for dogs. We will definitely send Cosmo to Lindsey again!”

“I appreciated Dawn’s flexibility and compassionate care for my little Chico. She kept me informed of his activities and also updated me with pictures. Definitely will be rebooking with her if I need a sitter.”

“David was wonderful with our energetic canine. David sent updates with pictures, multiple times during the day, which put me at ease, and took him on walks! Our pet looked relaxed, content and well taken care of. Thank you!”

“Harley felt right at home at Karen’s. Karen sent pictures regularly and even FaceTimed one night. We would definitely recommend her to others and plan to use her again next year!”

“Elizabeth was great communicating and letting us know the status of our dog Chico. We were very please with her care and services. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“Debbie watched our 14 year old golden retriever Maggie for 11 days. She was great with updated photos of Maggie. Maggie was well cared for and we were very happy with Debbie.”

“Terri was awesome! I have never left my fur babies with anyone else other than family, or friends before and was hesitant to use Rover, at first, for boarding them. However, upon reading Terri’s reviews and then meeting her, I was more than comfortable with leaving my 2 with her for a week. She gave me updates with pictures and both of my dogs seemed very happy the whole time. I’m so happy with how everything went ?”

“Shawna was great. Kept me updated with pictures and texts about Helcia. She has a couple of concerns, but brought them to my attention immediately. I would request Shawna again if I needed someone to watch Helcia for me.”

“Robert was great with our senior dog, Diamond! He was very communicative and sent messages with photos of our girl during her 2 night stay. He was responsive to all messages and just all around pleasant. This is the first time we have boarded Diamond anywhere and she didn't come home stressed out! I will definitely book with Robert again because our dog was safe and comfortable.”

“My 2 babies had their first visit with Dawn this past weekend. She sent several updates to let me know how they were doing, along with pictures when she could snap them (they hate pictures but she manages to get a few so I know she must of put a lot of effort into it ?). They both seemed relaxed and happy when I picked them up, as well as tired that evening so I know they got a lot of attention and play time while in her care. Very happy with her service!”
“As a first time user of Rover, I was nervous to leave my fur baby with just anyone. I hit the jackpot with Bridget. I set up a meet and greet first. Luna and Betsy hit it off immediately and became BFF's. Bridget stayed connected and sent lots of pictures which I was very grateful to receive since that allowed me to vacation with peace of mind. I will definitely send Luna to Bridget's house again and highly recommend her and her husband.”

“Alisa was Great about accommodating me & my Sweet Baby girl at the last minute due to an urgent matter, I'd recommend using her services. Thank You Alisa! Roger & Desi 🙂”
