About: I’ve worked in the vet field for 6 years, caring for dogs and cats. And I’ve been fostering for 6 years as well. I’ve had a love for animals since before I can remember. They are my passion. I care for every single one of them as my own I’m a stay at home mom. I don’t have a lot planned right now other than some up north trips and a wedding to plan. Our house can be chaos with all the animals and 2 kids. But everyone is loved and played with. We can go for walks as our neighborhood is not as busy.
“AMAZING!!! My baby boy was so well cared for. Lisa was communicative and professional. She is passionate about giving Fur babies a home away from home. Absolutely will book with Lisa again!”

“Mou & Yanling were amazing with our seven-year-old doggy; she is a well-behaved dog but can be reactive with other dogs. They were very patient and loving, and when I picked her up, I could see how happy her stay was. They sent me videos and pictures daily, and my dog looked so happy. They also stitched and fixed a sweater she wore, which was so sweet and kind. Our doggy's stay was four days. I will book them again for my doggy's next boarding if available, and I highly recommend them. Thank you, Mou & Yanling, for being so caring and loving with Sparrow :)”

“Britnie (and Steve) were the best sitters our Finley could have ever had. Finley stayed with Britnie for one night while we attended an out of town wedding. Britnie and Steve took great care of Finley and he was just like one of the family. We received text updates on how things were going as well as photos. My wife and I were both so pleased with the loving care Finley received. We look forward to the next time we have him stay with Britnie.”

“Dawn has been our go-to dogsitter for a couple years now and she is so great! I love that Rose has a familiar place to stay when we are out of town and she always comes back happy.”
“Never had a better, safer , experience in my life with a service! I’m so grateful that Amanda allowed me the peace of mind to travel and take care of a difficult business transaction. She even figured out a better way to use my current dog foods to my pups’ satisfaction. Her family and children only provided a better experience for my dogs. Very highly recommended!”

“I had to be out of town for four days just a couple days after picking up my 8 week old Golden Retriever. Katie came highly recommended and my puppy needed a full day sitter. She took care of him from early morning to late afternoon and provided me with many updates and pictures!! She did a great job and my pup seemed to really have fun with her. Katie is for sure my go-to pooch sitter! ?”

“Sheri was fantastic! Lucy was treated like her own dog. She was spoiled and loved and Lucy got along really well with Sheri's dog. I know Lucy is going to miss being at Sheri's house. I'll definitely use her again would highly recommend her to anyone needing excellent care for your dog.”

“Bandit has such a great time with Michael! I cannot say enough good things, and we've already booked more visits. Michael is truly a dog person, great with senior doggos and very kind and communicative.”

“Evelyn is always so fantastic with our elderly little dog. She sends plenty of pictures and keeps us informed of how he's doing the whole time we are away. We are so grateful for her!”

“Thank you for watching our whole tribe of fur babies. I appreciate the coordinated and organized drop-off and pick up. We received updates throughout their stay and everybody came home safe.”

“Lisa and family did a great job looking after Bailey. Communication was great, especially with a last minute booking. They treated Bailey like one of their own pets. I would repeat again.”

“Nia and Phillip came in clutch! I’m a travel healthcare worker from Arizona and my place wasn’t ready and I had to go to work. Nia and Phillip were able with a 24 hour notice able to care for my fur baby PJ so I would be able to go to work. They took great care of him. I highly recommend them.”

“First time booking with Angela and it won’t be our last! She was incredibly kind and considerate when taking on Wade. The meet & greet went great and the stay was even better. It’s clear she cares about animals and their needs. Wade had a great time! Great communication throughout his stay and very accommodating! Highly recommend.”

“Bony is very kind and Bear seemed to enjoy his stay with her, her dog Winter and her kids! I had a last minute request and she was gracious to be able to take him on such short notice. She sent me a photo during his stay and kept me updated throughout the day. I will definitely be calling on her to dog sit again!”

“Randi has consistently taken such good care of not only my dogs but all my small animals. She is always available for my last minute requests and is always so friendly and professional!! I will be booking with her ONCE AGAIN!”

About: During my years working at a doggy daycare, I also gained extensive experience caring for cats—and I absolutely adore them. Each cat has their own unique personality, and I’ve learned how to respect their boundaries, read their body language, and let them come to me on their own terms. I’m trained in administering both medications and insulin, and I’m certified in pet CPR and first aid through the Red Cross. Whether your cat is shy, playful, or has special medical needs, I’ll ensure they feel safe, understood, and loved.

“Diana took great care of our cat Ama on decently short notice when we had to go out of state for a week. She went above and beyond in comforting Ama and making sure her feeder and water were always full and making her litterbox clean. Diana was very communicative, open to input, available, and took lots of pictures. We'd reccommend her to anyone!”

About: I have taken care of family members', family friends', neighbors', houses, pets, and children since I have been in high school and I am now a 2023 graduate from Central Michigan University. I have taken care of senior pets, both cats and dogs, for several days at a time. I am comfortable with giving medication and tending to any other special needs your fur baby may have. I am also comfortable with taking care of several pets at once, as I regularly stay at a household with 6 pets in the home (4 dogs and 2 cats). I have a dog of my own and I strive to care for others' pets as they are my own. I am currently a nursing student at Oakland University. I am in the accelerated program and my schedule changes every 6-7 weeks. Until 4/16, I have 12 hour clinical days at Troy Corewell on Thursdays and Sundays and class 3 days a week ending at 2 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, then 10:30 AM on Tuesdays in the Auburn Hills area. I am also available in the Macomb and St. Clair areas. I am completely comfortable with staying in the home with pets to keep them on their routines in a familar environment. I have stayed one night up to 2 weeks, so I am flexible with whatever you or your pets may need. My dog loves to play with other dogs, so I can introduce them if requested.
About: I have been watching my friends and families animals for a while now. I am always traveling so this is also a great way to get some pets in. I am looking to travel as well as sit. Longer sits are my specialty. I love cats. I am always excited to get to know them. I also house sit my rates are lower the longer the sit. I treat the pets as I would if they were my own. I love traveling and it would not be fair to have a pet of my own. So it’s great when I get to watch pets.
About: I have a unique experince with many years caring for my past dog, guinea pig, and current cat and betta. I love every species and am well informed in all areas. I monitored and medicated my guinea pig around the clock when she was sick and my cat came to me as a kitten with a bot fly and brain and eye infection at three months old. I put endless hours of care into him and he is now a healthy three year old. I love animals and will never show up uneducated. I work a 9-5 so I would have to work around that! I would be the ideal help for someone with morning or night shift. I will tailor care to each animals needs. I am currently rehabbing a betta while caring for my 3 year old cat and I understand each animal is different. I will educate myself on the breed and listen to you about how to best care for your pet.
“Latara was such a great care taker for my cat. She kept us well informed on his behavior, provided very detailed and clear instructions, and sent many pictures throughout his stay. Would come back if I need a caretaker again.”

About: I have spent my whole life caring for animals. Friends, family and even neighbors have relied on me to help care for their loved ones whether it be baths, nail trims, walks, or overnight care. Of course I love puppies, but seniors are actually where my heart truly lies. Nothing gives me more fulfillment than helping care for seniors, and I have plenty of experience doing so. I have also worked at multiple dog boarding facilities. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible! I can do multiple drop ins a day no problem at all! I always make sure to keep everyone's safety in mind. I do not take any chances, and I pay attention to how your baby is acting. If something seems off I'm concerned.

About: My name is Madison. I started working Rover when I was working from home full-time. Now I am back working hybrid - some days in the office, some days at home. I now have a cat as well that I love very much but he is not around other animals so will be avoiding bringing any animals to my home for the time being. I can still take my work with me and this also allows me to be able to provide frequent potty breaks for dogs. I have dog sat for countless family members and friends along with my family raising 2 litters of puppies. I have included pictures of some of the dogs I have watched recently along with my cat. I love animals all shapes and sizes. I am more than willing to help animals who require special instructions or extra care. I know that your pet is like another child and I will treat them as such. I know my cat is my world! I know with how much life has changed over the last few years, it may be hard to maintain your regular routines and I am here to help! Please reach out to me with all types of requests. No request is too big or too small. I would love to make some new furry friends and make life easier for all Rover members! I am working full-time with a hybrid schedule. I am open to early morning visits, after work, and during lunch if my schedule permits. I would be available for overnight stays depending on my schedule. I now have a cat who has not been around other animals so will not be boarding for the time being. I am available for other services and would provide the upmost care!

About: I am an avid dog and cat lover, as well as a dog, rat, fish and cat owner myself :) I promise I will treat your furbabies like they are my own. I have been pet sitting for a few years now and I am familiar with pet cpr and first aid. I take pride in pet sitting for others and look forward to meeting you and your furry, swimming, feathered, warm rock typed children! If you have any questions or are interested in my services, please feel free to contact me anytime. Why I love dog sitting I have been a animal lover since a very young age. When I was young, my friends and I would rescue the stray animals in the neighborhood and return them to my home. My parents would lovingly laugh and help me try to locate the owners. I have had the pleasure of owning dogs and cats my whole life. Animals are a imporant part of my culture being part Native American. The love and happiness animals bring to our lives makes the world go round :) I have worked with many rescues and rehabilitation as well as extensive knowledge on animal care from potty schedules, diets and nutrition, medication needs, etc. My experience administering medication I have had to administer medications before for prior animals I have sitted for, so any special needs is not an issue. I will make your animals feel loved and safe in my care always with daily videos and photos of the fun your pet is having. I am always will to work with families to ensure the best care possible and will follow scheduled feedings and needs for your pets. I am currently a Pre-K teacher out of Farmington Hills, so I am able to work around your needs weekly/weekends and holidays as schedule allows I ensure communication is ongoing throughout the day depending on clients needs. I stick to a schedule that designed around your needs and make sure to be always respectful and honest you and your pets needs

About: I’ve done a lot of puppy raising and training. I have had 6 labs that I have raised and trained from 6 weeks old on. I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication and helping them to get around and be comfortable. I would love to watch your new puppy while you are away for the day or longer. I can help with basic training socialization. I am occasionally subbing for special education at a school at the corner of my street. If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. I have a 5 year old yellow Labrador that is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard—and a built-in companion! Dogs I welcome into our home are treated like part of the family, just like our own beloved fur baby. I also have a crate available, which our dog uses freely whenever she wants a cozy spot to relax.
“Tracey was super caring and did a great job watching my dog! She sent pictures and was very thoughtful, which helped calm my nerves since it was my first time using rover!”

“Amanda has been awesome for my sweet doggy Shiloh! She’s so flexible with scheduling which I absolutely love, updates with pictures daily of your fur baby playing or enjoying a walk! My Shiloh girl is very energetic and comes home at the end of the day EXHAUSTED from playing all day which was never the case before day care. We’re thankful for Amanda!”

I am currently not working outside the home and so I am available every day for your pets needs. I can care in my home or in your home. I have a fully fenced in yard where even the smallest dog cannot get out. In your home I am available to help them feel comfortable and safe when you are away.

About: ONLY SIT UP TO 25 lbs... Hello, I'm Cynthia, a true animal lover; I have owned many dogs & cats, they're my passion and bring me much joy. I will care for your babies like they're my own. I will provide a home away from home. I live in home in Chesterfield (23 Mile & Sugarbush/Seaden) with a beautiful fenced yard; only dogs up to 25 lbs. I often sit 1-4 dogs at a time; so your pet must be able to get along with other dogs. I will take your pets on daily walks and supervise them outside frequently to potty. I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. Oh, and book early, I fill up quickly, and please note the cancellation policy. I look forward to hearing from you! Cynthia I'm retired and home quite a bit, outside of normal activities, such as shopping, occasional dining out, etc. The dogs are very happy in my home. I have a totally privacy fenced yard, the dogs love to run around, sniff all over the place, and my home has safety gates on front and side doors.
About: As a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to two quirky Pomskys (a cuddly goofball named Cyrus and an independent little fox named Luna), I know just how much pets are family. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, a calm companion, or someone to make them feel safe while you’re away, I’m here to help. I’m experienced with all kinds of personalities, from shy seniors to zoomie-fueled puppies, and I’m always happy to follow your care instructions down to the last detail. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or sitting. Whether your pup needs a midday stroll or some extra love while you’re out, I can be there. Your pet’s routine will always come first. I offer walking and in-home pet sitting, so your dog stays comfortable in their own space. My own pup prefers a quieter environment, so I don’t host pets at my house. I’m always respectful of your routines, and I treat your home and animals with the same care I give my own.
About: Hello! My name is Mike and I've been fostering dogs since 2019. I've had approximately 18 come and go, only foster "failing" (foster dogs who I ended up keeping) with two who stayed and had the best golden years. I lost my most recent boy in August, a blind Bichon, just shy of his 12th birthday and after 3 great years. He was type-1 diabetic and blind, and after so much time as a foster getting his insulin regulated, he decided I was his forever family. He had a sister when I got him, a senior Yorkie with diabetes insipidus and a host of health issues. All that is to say I'm a professional at insulin, rigid medication schedules and diet maintenance. Presently I have no dogs of my own. When it comes to your dog, I'll keep your daily routine and walk schedules too, so your pups stay is as minimally disruptive to their normal routine as possible. I've fostered dogs of many breeds from Chihuahuas and a Rat Terrier to a Golden Retriever and Saint Bernard. I've had as many as 4 dogs at once so I'm open to having multiple pups at once. I'll never accept dogs from multiple families unless both families are booking together and the dogs are socialized with each other already. And I'll never cancel a confirmed stay for a more lucrative multi-dog request. I live alone in a detached house in Wallaceburg, and I work from home so your dog won't be left alone aside from short errands. I'm not big on crating dogs, leaving them free to be where they like while I'm gone. I have a den with glass door if you tell me they need smaller quarters, or you can bring your crate for me to use. I have a large fenced yard for playing fetch or dogs who need to run. This is a total dog house. I bought it due to its flat land and not having stairs, and I built a ramp down to the yard. I installed a dog door but it will stay blocked unless having access is suitable for your pups. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, and will have free roam of the house (there's no basement, and garage isn't accessible). House sitting radius: the Rover app limits a 100km radius when setting the territory I can offer the services. I've got my radius set Eastward to circle Toronto, as I grew up there and love an opportunity to take gigs that get me into the city. Unfortunately I can't draw a circle that includes Windsor, but I'm happy to take gigs there too. If you're in London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, or the GTA, and you have a dog that can be left alone for 2-3hrs max, I may be willing to offer discounts on price so I can catch up with family and friends in those areas while I'm there. If you have any questions or you'd like to arrange a tour or meet and greet, don't hesitate to reach out. I work fulltime hours from home, typical office hours. I'm usually awake by 7am and bed by midnight. I don't have many friends in town so I'm home most of the time. My yard is fully fenced. I have a couple Tile tracking tags that I can attach to their collar if they're an escape artist (or you'd like to track your pups location remotely). Hazardous items like cleaning products are kept in cupboards or in my detached garage. My house is pretty dog proofed and I'm not concerned if your pup has an accident. That's what mops and upholstery cleaners are for. I think I've developed pretty good dog body language, and only correct misbehaviour by command and redirection. I'm a bit of a sucker that let's them get carried away when they're being silly, but particularly with bigger dogs I'll make sure their training is maintained (no jumping up to greet, making sure they don't assert dominance etc.)

About: I am former a project manager that worked out of my home full time. Now I am a new stay at home mother to two beautiful, animal loving kids! I have lots of time to give your fur baby love. I have been watching animals for about 6 years before the Rover app came out. So about 12 years total! I previously met my clients on Care. I love keeping my animals active, with walking, playtime, running, play dates and tummy rubs! I will treat your 4 legged pal just like my own!! Animals have always been my passion and I would like to share my passion with you and your pal! I want to make the animals happy in any way I can. Their safety and happiness is my top priority. I prefer to do meet and greets prior to stays for peace of mind for my pup and my clients. I ensure that owners of any and all dogs are okay with them staying if their are other dogs boarding with me at the same time as theirs. Please do not hesitate to contact me to find out about my services. Thanks! I am home all day with my children, so I have tons of flexibility to cater to your animals needs! My husband also has a flexible schedule so I can sneak out with out the kids as well. I treat each fur guest just like they were my own. No one ever feels left out or sad. My children have learned to respect and treat animals like their own. They give lots of love and who doesn’t love that!

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. I started at 9 with bottle baby goats, added rabbits shortly after and have had many others since from from cats, dogs, birds, and Guinea pigs inside to chickens, goats, cows, and ponies outside along with various others. I currently have one indoor cat and one indoor dog, as well as cows, sheep, a pony, and a donkey. I feed all the feral and stray cats that show up at my barn and have learned a great deal about cat personalities from them. I often babysit my daughters three cats and ferret so have experience with caring for multiple pets at once. I work Tuesday thru Friday from 5:00am to 2:30 pm and I have about an hour of taking care of my animals each day. The rest of my time I have free to take care of your pets. I will be respectful of your individual animals personality and offer them as much or little physical attention as they want. I’ll make sure they have fresh clean food and water, keep their litter area clean, and can scoop or completely change out litter as needed.

“Diana was great! Our dog is sweet, but not the easiest to walk. She didn’t really mind his quirks and seemed very comfortable with him-70 pounds. Would definitely ask her again! Her communication was timely and she came over for a meet and greet before her first walk. Thank you!”

About: I have always had an animal in my life since the day I was born. My family had gotten a dog a year before I was born and had grown up with her until she passed away when I was in high school. Not only did I help take care of her by taking her on walks and feeding her, I also had a guinea pig, another family pet, our cat Fiona, and my siblings animals throughout my time growing up. My love of animals has come through how I was raised because my household was always filled with some form of furry animal. This ranged from my cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even goats at one point. I got my first dog my freshman year of high school after our family dog passed and took on the whole responsibility by myself. I have taken care of three dogs at once and this included bathroom breaks, walks, being fed two-three times per day, lots of cuddles, ensuring they always had a full water bowl, and even administering medication for one of the dogs. I am now a proud owner of a golden retriever puppy, miniature English bulldog, and my cat Eskimo. I also dog sit every now and then for one of my friends who also has a golden retriever, and our dogs love going on hikes through the woods together, along with going on swimming adventures this summer! I am currently a full-time grad student at UofM-Flint. I have breaks throughout my schedule that would allow me to care for your animals in anyway needed during the day to help maintain their normal routine! I am a very reliable and respectable individual and will not do anything with your pet unless permission has been asked/given. If there are certain rules or requests for the job, I will follow them accordingly and respect whatever you ask for the time I help take care of your pets. During my time with them, I will treat them as I would hope someone watching my pets would with all the love and attention they deserve.

If you have any questions or are interested in my services, please feel free to contact me anytime. Why I love dog sitting I have been a animal lover since a very young age. I am always will to work with families to ensure the best care possible and will follow scheduled feedings and needs for your pets.
“Laura was great! My dog was loved and cared for while we were busy getting married. She was very responsive and sent photos of him regularly. Highly recommend!”

“AMAZING!!! My baby boy was so well cared for. Lisa was communicative and professional. She is passionate about giving Fur babies a home away from home. Absolutely will book with Lisa again!”

“Kristen was wonderful with our girl Annie. This was our 1st time using Rover and boarding her in a private home. She was so much more rested and less stressed than the previous kennel we had used. Kristen kept us informed with pictures and updates. We will definitely book with her again.”

“10000/10! First time rover user and first time leaving my dog with a "stranger" overnight so I was super nervous doing so. I had a 10 day trip planned and my family who would normally help out could no longer watch my dog. Monica responded quickly to my initial request and even made time for a quick meet and greet a week before to help ease my nerves. She has a nice, clean house with a beautiful big fenced in yard, which was perfect for my dog. You can tell she truly cares about the wellbeing of your pet and making sure that YOU are as comfortable as possible. I received pictures and messages that helped to reassure me that my dog was doing well and was loved! She and her husband treated him like their own, which made this entire process so much easier for me. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Monica through Rover. I would (and will) absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring sitter for your pet!”

“She is amazing!! Other boarders would send us maybe one pic a day. We got a load of pics three times a day. She had everything only thing we had to bring was food and the pup. She understands animals and their behaviors. Would recommend her to EVERYONE!!”

“Samantha & Zach are amazing. They’re are amazing with their communication about your furry friend. My dog Titus always gets excited going there would definitely recommend their services.”
