About: I grew up with cats and have grown adept at understanding their social cues. I understand that every cat is different, and as such I will always let them take the lead when it comes to interaction. Additionally, I volunteer with the human society, which has given me exposure to working with cats from less than a week old to ones well over 15. About: Hi! I’ve loved animals my whole life and have cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, from old to young. I’ve also had a cat for many years in my life, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats! I love spending time with animals, going on walks with them, playing with them, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I’d be excited to meet your furry friend! I am currently a CCA at USPS, so summer can be slow at times, and I normally have mornings until about 12 pm available and any time after 7 or so available. Saturday nights and Sundays are the only days of the week on a week to week bases that I can guarantee that I will be available for overnight and all-day care. I currently don't have any of my pets living with me, but occasionally they come over from Lansing and hang out with me, and we walk around the city, go to some of my secret walking spots scattered around detroit and just hang out. About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my husband and I are both gone at work from 7:30am-5pm. So ideally, your dog would be comfortable being alone for an extended period of time if they are with us on those days. All the other days of the week, someone will be home. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

She does have a bad ankle so due to that we had to switch over so if u have a bigger stronger dog who pulls or is reactive, may be best to find someone else. But otherwise she did the job and walked him even with that ankle :)! She helped us find other options as well and always had tips to help when issues were brought up. “Emily, Jason & Larry were excellent hosts!! Upon my request for a sitter, they suggested a meet & greet between our dogs. They were welcoming and caring about insuring the dogs were compatible. We agreed on letting Nanook stay. They were very communicative about what our dog was up to, how he was getting along with Larry and they sent photos too. After the stay we were surprised to have received a thank you note and a personalized treat in our bag. That was such a sweet touch! We would definitely book with Emily & Jason again! Nanook enjoyed his stay with them and Larry!”

From our first interaction, it was clear that he is very experienced with dogs and genuinely enjoys caring for them. I have a high-energy Border Collie/Aussie mix, and he handled him wonderfully. He got plenty of attention, exercise, and care, and I could tell he was comfortable and happy during his stay.
