About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I've been a proud dog owner for over 5 years and have provided petsitting services for neighbors, friends and family for a few years. I’m reliable and know how to take care of senior dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens. I have a cat of my own, and he’s well loved and cared for. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. About: I had a dog aggressive dog for six years and it was always hard to find a sitter. We want to make sure other people can find a place for their dog where they will be comfortable and the owners can enjoy their time away without worry. We are home starting Thursday evening and would be available to take care of your doggie so it will feel comfortable. We can take your dog on walks and because we have the weekend off we can spend as much time as needed to make your pet feel loved. Together we have experience walking a dog reactive dog in the UP and Detroit where anything could happen at a moments notice. We understand how important it is to avoid triggers, and what to do to help you dog when it's unavoidable. We also have experience with old dogs who need medicine and low impact play time as well as anxious dogs who aren't sure what's going on.
