“Angela was great! She made Dobby feel comfortable, and kept me in the loop about how he was doing while I was away. Now he's home and crashed out from all the fun.”

“Steven looked after Dipstick with love and affection. From the videos, I could see that my dog enjoyed having lots of butts to sniff. 😂 I definitely will be using Steven’s services again.”

“Nani had a longer stay with Cody and I had no concerns! He did a great job following additional instructions due to the longer stay and kept me updated throughout my trip. I feel confident in Cody and his ability to intervene and mediate between dogs in case any overexcitement or aggression happens. I feel comfortable leaving Nani with him knowing she’s in good hands!”

“Our Arthur had a great time. Natalia sent is updates and photos during his stay. It was great, he was so tired when he got home. I will 100% use her services again and I would recommend her to anyone. Arthur was in great hands and company.”

“Oliver had an amazing time with Whitley and her pup Ollie! They were so cute together, playing and having fun. I was nervous as this was the first time Oliver stayed with someone he didn’t know and Whitley made him feel comfortable and happy. Thank you!”

“Tracey made my pup feel at home and so welcomed! She is also about safety and ensuring the utmost care, just like it was her own pup. She sent updates in videos that reassured me of how my pup did during her very first overnight stay. Thankful to have booked with Tracey as it is evident that she has a lot of experience and love in caring for fur babies.”

“So happy I booked with Kayla to sit my pup while I was on vacation. She kept my mind at ease with all the pictures and the updates. I felt confident she would treat my dog right. I definitely plan on booking with her again in the near future.”

“Ruffles is 14 years old and pretty easy-going. They made every effort to try and play with her, settle her in their bed for a nap, etc. They sent videos throughout the day and responded to every communication promptly so that I knew how she was doing and followed up after the visit to tell me how the day went. I’ve already booked two additional visits for a week each.”

“Meredith was the best pet sitter I could have asked for. She was so sweet with my dogs and kept me updated with lots of videos and photos. You can tell how much she loves animals and it felt like she treated my pups as her own. Will absolutely be using her in the future!!”

“Jessica was amazing with our pups! We've never used Rover before but decided to for a 9 day trip. We are worriers with our babies so we were nervous, but I am so happy we did because they had tons of play time/attention, and it was SO much more affordable than a boarding facility. We received daily pictures, updates, and some videos along the way. We will definitely be working with Jessica again!”

“Theresa and Adrian were wonderful with my dog TJ! Their home is truly perfect for dogs and they were super communicative throughout our stay. Will be booking with them in the future! :)”

“Rachael and Mike were amazing with our precious Mirna. They were extremely accommodating to do a meet & greet in short notice and accepted Mirna into their home with open arms! Our pup had SO much fun with them & slept for a full 24 hours after pickup 😅 we would highly recommend them! They didn’t even kick Mirna out when she ruined their Sunday lasagna dinner by knocking it to the ground LOL.”

“SYDNEY IS THE BEST! This was the first time our dog, Primo, stayed with someone who wasn’t already familiar with him, so naturally, we were a little nervous about leaving him while we were away on vacation. From the very beginning, Sydney completely put our minds at ease. She took the time to address every concern we had, answered all of our questions, and reassured us that Primo would be safe, comfortable, and very well taken care of. Sydney was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and professional throughout Primo’s entire stay. What we appreciated most was her communication. Every morning and evening, she sent us pictures along with updates and notes about how Primo was doing. Being able to see him happy and comfortable allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. It was clear that Sydney treated Primo with genuine care and attention, and that means everything to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience leaving him with someone new. Sydney has definitely earned our trust, and we will absolutely be using her services again in the future. If you’re looking for someone dependable, caring, communicative, and trustworthy to care for your pet, we highly recommend Sydney. Thank you, Sydney!”

“Our dog had a great time at Queeny’s house. She periodically sent us pictures and responded promptly. Our dog enjoyed playing in her fenced in yard. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: I have been rescuing dogs for almost 2 decades. Needless to say, I love dogs. I currently have a great Pyrenees and she would love Company. I work 100% remote from home., my yard has a 6 foot privacy fence am I Home is very dog friendly. I am also experienced in taking care of diabetic dogs, including testing and injections twice a day, monitoring food and making sure that all the dogs under my hair get daily walks, and lots of love. I work 100% remote. My day doesn’t start until nine, which allows me to spend time in the morning either playing with the dogs going for walks. I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood around those days that the weather doesn’t permit us to go out I have what we call beauty time.. I walk my dog every evening for at least 30 minutes and if the day is nice, we try to get some time in during lunch as well My house and backyard are very pet friendly. I am not someone who gets upset if there’s an accident after all they’re pets, stuff’s gonna happen. I have a 6 foot privacy fence in my backyard. My dog prefers to sleep outside, but for the dogs that I’m sitting I prefer they be inside with me.
“We are new to the area and finding a good dog sitter is always a bit stressful. Kadi put me and my dog, Phoebe, at ease almost immediately upon meeting her. She is friendly, welcoming, and truly cares! Kadi asked important questions about my dog to ensure the boarding was tailored to Phoebe's needs. Throughout her stay, we received updates and pictures that gave us peace of mind that Phoebe was not an after thought, but part of the family!”

“If you have a small dog, Beverly is unreal. My frenchie loves going to her home. She is given so much love, care and attention the entire time she is there. She has her own bed and rest area during the day with lots of toys. She never goes in a crate or cage, and plays all day long. At night Beverly lets my cookie sleep in the bed. If you are reading this go no further, Beverly provides unbelievable care. I would never consider an overnight kennel and once you try Beverly to babysit you wont either. Thank you Beverly for caring for my baby.”

About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.
“My cat spent a week at the home of Amy, James, and their kitty, and it went beautifully! They are terrific and knowledgable caretakers, their home gave my cat all kinds of safe-but-delightful new landscapes to explore, and Amy sent the best updates and photos I've ever gotten from a petsitter. My cat clearly had as much fun during her travels as I did on mine. I'm very grateful.”

“Katherine is AMAZING!! She was super diligent to send me photos, extremely helpful and truly cares about fur babies. I’m so happy I found her and I am comforted to know that when I need help with my little furry one I know just who to call!!”

“Casie is awesome! Very caring and attentive. Took wonderful care of our senior cat who requires meds. Excellent attention to detail and a wonderful caretaker!! Highly recommend!!”

“Jessica was very nice. She came a few days before the booking to meet my shy furry baby. Jessica was patient with her and my shy girl right up to her. Jessica sent lots of pictures. Great communication. My Shadow is even more spoiled (if that's possible) but it shows that Jessica gave her lots of attention which was what I wanted. Thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Megan — a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet care provider based in beautiful East English Village. I live with my two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy the company of other calm, respectful pups. I provide a personalized, low-volume boarding experience from my home, where your dog becomes part of our little pack. My services are designed with your pet’s comfort and safety in mind. I only board one guest dog at a time, ensuring constant supervision, individual attention, and a peaceful, low-stress environment. Whether you’re looking for drop-in visits, a walk while you’re at work, or overnight care, I treat every animal like one of my own — with affection, patience, and professional care. I provide updates with every visit, and I’m happy to accommodate custom routines, feeding schedules, and medication administration when needed. Let’s schedule a free meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a great match! Caring for animals is a natural part of my daily life — I structure my routine around it. With two dogs of my own, I’m already up early for walks, feeding, and snuggles. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide frequent potty breaks, plenty of supervision, and lots of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Because I intentionally limit my boarding and walking services to just a few clients at a time, I’m able to give each pet my full focus without being overbooked or rushed. Whether I’m doing a drop-in visit, hosting a pup overnight, or stopping by for a midday walk, I plan my calendar so your pet gets reliable, unrushed, high-quality care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities — whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting them in yours. BOARDING AT MY HOME: When boarding in my home, I provide a calm, structured, and low-stress environment by only accepting one guest dog at a time. This allows me to give each pet plenty of individual attention and supervision throughout the day. I have two friendly, well-socialized resident dogs who are used to having guests and do best with other well-mannered pups. I take time to carefully introduce everyone, and I require a meet-and-greet prior to first-time bookings to ensure everyone is a good fit. My home is pet-safe, clean, and set up with cozy resting areas, a large and securely fenced outdoor space, and plenty of enrichment opportunities like walks, playtime, and snuggles. I also follow the pet’s routine as closely as possible to make their stay feel familiar and reassuring. FOR DROP INS I aim to maintain your pet’s routine in their own environment, minimizing disruption and providing consistent care. I refresh water, follow feeding and medication instructions closely, and always leave your home secure and tidy. I also provide visit updates with photos so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Building trust through consistent, compassionate care is what I do best. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m visiting them, they’ll be treated like family.

“lauri helped us out recently with housesitting and watching our two cats - one of whom required medication twice daily and some other specifications throughout the day. lauri was great with caring for both him and his brother, giving them everything they needed and making sure that they were happy and healthy while we were away. she sent photos and detailed updates and it gave us such peace of mind knowing that she was looking after them. we came home to happy cats and a well taken care of house - i would highly recommend lauri and will be booking with her again!”

I understand that every dog has unique needs, whether they’re playful puppies or relaxed seniors, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I've been a proud dog owner for over 5 years and have provided petsitting services for neighbors, friends and family for a few years. Thanks to my obsession with my own dog, I have a deep understanding of dog behavior, from potty training and obedience training to teaching basic commands and leash training. “Megan is extremely nice and welcoming and provides great care. My dog is always super excited to visit her place! Due to my dogs anxious nature, she often leaves new places stressed. However, whenever she comes home from Megan's she is relaxed and happy. Do book Megan if you want a great care experience for your pet!!”

“Greatly appreciated Kristen's 1) willingness to accommodate us when we needed daycare at the last minute, 2) her patience with and fondness for our super energetic 4-month old puppy, and 3) the pictures that gave us a glimpse of our boy's first time with the other dogs at her home. Each of these things made us feel more at ease. We will definitely request Kristen G. again.”

About: Hi! I’m Paris — a substitute teacher, lifelong pet lover, and proud cat mom of two playful kittens, Lilith & Zephyr 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet I care for as if they’re my own. Whether it’s a dog who loves long walks, a cat who just wants cuddles, or a nervous pet who needs extra patience, I tailor care to each animal’s personality and comfort level. My clients describe me as attentive, communicative, and trustworthy — I provide photo updates, detailed messages, and genuinely enjoy spending time with every pet I meet. You’ll never have to wonder how your furry friend is doing while you’re away! 💼 My Schedule As a substitute teacher, I create my own schedule — which means I can adjust my availability for pet care. I typically work 4–8 hour school shifts with breaks that allow me to check in, walk, or drop in on pets during the day. Need round-the-clock or overnight care? I can absolutely provide that — I just ask for notice in advance, as 24-hour care may require adjusted pricing 💰 Rates & Expectations Rover’s listed prices reflect my base rates for standard care. Rates may adjust slightly depending on: • The number of pets • Travel distance • After-hours or weekend bookings • Medication or special-needs care • Holiday or extended-stay requests All rates are before Rover’s 20% platform fee. My goal is to ensure top-tier, stress-free care that’s priced fairly for both of us. 💬 Why Choose Me I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pets. My goal is to create peace of mind while making sure your pets are loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Each booking is personalized — whether that means an extra bedtime cuddle, a longer evening walk, or slow introductions for shy pets. ❤️ Let’s Connect If you’re looking for reliable, flexible, and genuine care, I’d love to chat! Send me a message with your pet’s routine, quirks, or favorite toys — I’m happy to customize care around their needs. I work as a substitute teacher and I make my own schedule. As long as I have at least 2-3 days before a booking I can switch things around to be with your pet. I typically work 4-8 hours and have small breaks where I can leave the school and check in with pets twice a day while I am working. If they need round the clock care, I can make that happen but as it interferes with my day job that would require further conversation as far as pricing. I play with animals, I’ll walk them, bathe them, give them medication if needed. I treat every pet I’m lucky enough to have placed in my care as my own. Anything you need or want for me to do for your four legged family member I would be more than happy to accommodate!
“Tara has been amazing with my eight-month-old puppy, Rosie! On the days I have a 90+ minute commute, I know Rosie is in great hands. Tara makes sure she’s walked, played with, and has everything she needs, including food and water. She’s incredibly communicative, reliable, and someone I trust completely. Tara continues to be my go-to for pup care, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet!”

“Katie was super friendly and great with the pups, and was so patient even when my puppy gave her a hard time. She sends photos while she’s there and is great with communicating with you. She rocks!”
“Jessica has been great! I booked her for dog walking for my hyper GSP during busy workdays. She has been open to working around my busy workday schedule and even allowed an extra booking on a sunny day last minute when he really needed to get out. Thanks so much for your help!”

“We’ve been so happy to find Caelan! She communicates fast and friendly, is reliable, and has given us great peace of mind knowing our new energetic pup is getting activity through the day. She is attentive to our doggos needs and has gone above and beyond. We will definitely be booking with her more in the future!”

About: I got my first pets at 21, two mice named Luna and Lena. Since then I've had many more pets including more mice, rats, dogs, and a cat. I have had my dogs for about 7 years. My baby girl Remy, is a wild ball of energy, even at 9. My darling boy Leonard, is a very slow gentle giant who moves like a sloth, so I have experience with dogs across the energy spectrum! My fluffy baby Bean is my first cat. I have learned a lot from him over the last 4 years that Ive had him. He is a cuddly kitty who shows love through playful violence. I say this to explain that I am so used to being torn up a bit by my pets. I understand that pets do not know their strength or sharpness and I will give them the grace needed! My pets are the center of my life. I wake up and immediately refill food and waters and let my dogs outside. While they do their business, I cuddle Bean, my cat. Sadly, after I let my dogs in I have to head out to work. When I get home from work, I always run to get kisses from my dogs. Then I do the same as the morning, check food and water and let them outside. Because my cat and one of my dogs dont get along, I often have to split my time between them but I make sure everyone gets all their cuddles and love. I also dedicate at least 10 minutes twice a day, playing with each of them. I am unable to host others pets at my house as we are full up, but I always treat others homes and pets with the utmost respect. I try my best not to touch anthing that isn't needed and leave the home looking the same or better than when I got there.

About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking. I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. I am unable to watch pets at my own place, as I am constantly fostering and have my own cats. I've been a trusted house/pet/baby sitter for 10 years, and will take great care of your space.
About: Since I was in my teens I have lived a life with pets - both dogs and cats, and it has been such a rewarding journey so far! I have had two rescue dogs, a collie mix and a beagle, and they had my whole heart. I currently have a multi-cat household, and do TNR in my neighborhood where I can to help the outdoor stray cats. I have also rehomed multiple cats with the help of local rescue groups to ensure a long happy kitty life. Currently, I spend a great deal of time with my best buddy Rocco, an 8 year old black lab. I have experience with small dogs, medium sized dogs and large dogs and honestly enjoy them all the same! I also have experience with cats of all ages, from bottle feeding kittens to 18 year old seniors, and am comfortable giving any medications to dogs or cats as well. I know my way around all kinds of personalities and ages, whether it be those that want to play or those that need a slow, gentle walk and some extra attention. I have also been working with the same vet for 20+ years that can attest to my care and love for animals. I will treat every pet like my own - patient, attentive, and genuinely happy to spend time with them. Being around animals - that's my happy place. My hours at work have changed which allows me to be available Monday-Friday 11am-3pm. I'm available for walks, drops ins for potty breaks while you're at work, or to check on your kitties if you'll be gone longer than you'd like to be. Lots of time for playing with your furry family members! I would be happy to come to your home and treat it and your pets with respect and care. My personal cats are all fixed and up to date on shots, however I took in a stray girl last winter who is very scared of everything. I think it's best to let her rule the house and come to visit yours at your homes where they are most comfortable.

About: I am a dog lover who currently owns 3 dogs, a terrier mix, a standard poodle, and a Doberman. My husband and I love animals and have grown up around different types of pets, which is why dog sitting is a perfect fit for me. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my entire life. I acquired my love for animals from my father. Since before I was born, he has always owned a dog. The first dog I remember having was a Husky named Brandon. We named him Brandon because of the dog on "Punky Brewster" and I must have been only around 4 years old! My experience administering medication I have experience administering medication to my own pets and others pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom, which means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup(s). We love playing outdoors and our dogs are like family to us! I have a dog run (working on fencing our large yard) and three dogs of my own. We have room to crate train if needed, and keep kids and dogs separate should your pup not be kid friendly.
About: I am trained in Dog Behavior and Management from my previous job at Camp Bow Wow. I’m bubbly, kind, and patient with humans and dogs. I recently moved away from home where my family dog lives. But when I was home I did all feeding, bathing, walks, playing, and training. I have a fenced in backyard and friendly neighborhood dogs that love to play (if your pup is interested and comfortable). Availability 24/7 for walks.
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. At just 10 years old, I started my own neighborhood dog-washing service because I genuinely enjoyed caring for them. Today, I share my life with my senior dog, Buddy, who has a calm temperament and gets along well with other dogs. I understand that every dog has unique needs, whether they’re playful puppies or relaxed seniors, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a dog owner myself, I know pets are family, and I understand how important it is to have complete peace of mind when someone else is caring for them. I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, daycare, boarding, and overnight stays. I believe in keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible to help them feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I live with my senior dog, Buddy, who has a calm temperament and gets along well with other dogs. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions so they receive personalized care. I provide a clean, loving, and supervised environment and will send regular updates, photos, and messages so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own family.
“Nia was wonderful! She took care of my Zayle on short notice. Zayle still acts like a puppy and Nia was capable and comfortable with that type of energy and behavior. Nia was nice, professional and right on time. 10/10 the best the app has to offer! I’ll be booking with Nia again soon :)”
“Sam took our dog, Jax, out for walks while we were out of town for a week. She is attentive and obviously an animal-lover. We got pictures and videos everyday while we were gone which is really nice when you're missing your pets. Personally, Sam is friendly and quick to respond if you have any questions. We will definitely be using her again.”

Hi, I’m Monica DeSpain— a lifelong animal lover, experienced pet sitter, and proud pet mom to one sweet senior dog and three quirky cats. I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years, and I truly love what I do. My background includes 5 years working at two veterinary hospitals as a veterinary assistant, volunteering at the animal shelter, and fostering pets in my home. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in animal care long before I officially started offering pet sitting. Since August 2024, I’ve been providing trusted, compassionate pet sitting services to families in the Grosse Pointe area. I also currently run a small online business from home, which gives me the flexibility to offer weekday and weekend visits, dog walking, and personalized drop-in care. About: Growing up I have loved animals and wanted to have a career with animals. Rover is just one way I can do that! Growing up I had a multiple animals that were childhood pets that I’ve adored. I am the type of person that will stop a stranger just to say hello to their furry friends! I enjoy dog sitting and meeting so many unique breeds and animals that I can form a bond with the animal and the owners! I love the experiences and becoming someone trustworthy to have as a repeat client! I currently work 4pm-10pm a few days out of the week. I have a bachelors in human sciences. I myself have threes dog and a cat that are all rescues. They are my spoiled little fur babies that get tons of cuddles, kisses, bark box toys, cat scratchers, etc. They love sleeping on the bed with us under the covers, head on pillow Lol! Overall, pet care fits into my daily routine because I feed, walk, and play with my own animals all day and make sure they are loved on and taken care of just as I would do the same for your own! They have tons of toys that are played with, I let them lay in the bed with me or chill on the couch. I feed them every morning and water them frequently. I walk them every 30mins-1 hour. I will also play with them outside etc. they cuddle and get plenty of belly rubs and scratches while I’m near. I am the type of person who loves seeing your pets and will think about them all the time even if I only watched them once! I love bringing them toys and treats! The phrase I have never met a stranger resonates with me in human and animal aspect! I love meeting new people and animals are always a plus! Pet care is always my top priority. I chose to animal sit over my part time job. I want your pets to have the best care possible. If I ever have work I make sure it’s not longer than a few hours. I want your fur babies to always be attended to and taken care of. I have several pets in my own home that are mine. They are kennel trained and leash trained. I don’t keep my dogs locked up nor would I do that to your pets. I treat your pets like my own. I will give them cuddles and kisses and send you tons of pictures.

“Monica is a perfect for boarding or watching your fur baby! She administers simple meds and sends photo updates. We left our fur baby with her for 16 days and was able to do that feeling confident that Mazie was getting care just like she would at home. Can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of our Mazie Mae! We will definitely be rebooking soon!”

“You can tell this young man loves animals, he came in clutch for me. At the last minute watching my high anxiety senior dog Shepherd/heeler mix. Great communication 5 stars we Will be back”

“Jess is wonderful. I have engaged her twice to board my American Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both times issues arose, one was a health issue and another where my flight was cancelled and I needed extra days of care. She cheerfully accommodated the situation and put my mind at ease during a stressful time. She takes great care of Halle, who is a rescue and can be reactive towards other dogs. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. Now that she is used to her, I feel really comfortable leaving Halle with Jess.”

“Katherine was a fantastic accommodating host for our precious Bruno! We were running late to drop him off and then had a family emergency that delayed us picking him up a few hours later than planned. She sent us photos throughout his stay and asked us about taking him out. I appreciated her consideration. We will absolutely be using her again in the future if she will have us!”
