“Lola loves staying with Toni! I never have to worry when she’s there — she’s treated like part of the family. Lola comes home happy, tired, and totally spoiled! Thank you!!”

“Joni has been our preferred pet sitter for over 5 years! She is thoughtful, kind, and loving to our 12 year old Maltese. She does everything in her power to make sure the pets that she cares for feel at home. She regularly sends us updates, photos and videos so we never have to worry while traveling. She is the best!”

“Marty and her family were truly outstanding. This was the first time I left my dog with anyone other than family, and she filled that void. She provided frequent communication of his acclimation to her house and family, along with updates of activities she had planned for him. My dog left Marty's happy and relaxed. Very thankful for Marty; we will be back!”

“Highly recommend! Cooper was well taken care of and Martha provided regular updates with photos. She went above and beyond, taking him for walks and playing fetch. It was heart warming to see Cooper cuddle up to her as we left, not wanting to leave. A true testament to her care and attention. We will definitely be seeing her for future boarding opportunities!”

“We had such a positive experience with Victoria! She went above and beyond with communication throughout Charlie’s stay and when Charlie wasn’t seeming to be feeling good, she reached out to let us know and even took her to the vet for us. She was able to care for Charlie, provide her with her medication for what turned out to be a double ear infection and when I picked her up, she seemed very understanding of the medications purpose and dosing instructions. Best dog sitter we have ever had, hands down! We will definitely be contacting Victoria again for our next trip away!”

“Tracey did a wonderful job taking care of Stretch! It was his first time with a dog sitter for that long and she was the perfect person for him. I appreciated her daily pictures and how attentive she was to his needs. Will definitely rebook with her!”

“Jessica & Matt are amazing! They updated me everyday with photos and how my pup was doing. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a dog sitter. Thank you again, to both of you for taking such good care of Charlie, I never worried once while I was gone, knowing he was in your care😊”

“Laura was the best sitter ever! She sent pictures along with daily updates every day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leaving my dog with Laura was the most comfortable I have ever felt with anyone ever. Thank you Laura!”

“If you want to treat your dog for the spa / vacation while you are gone , do not look any other place ! They are so amazing and lovely . Zoe is also a sweetheart 😍My dog fell in love with both of them instantly! I can not explain how wonderful and lovely they both are . Will definitely bring my dog back”

“Shannon and her husband were wonderful! From the meet and greet to pickup, they were personable, caring, and trusting. They sent several pictures throughout the day so I felt very confident my pup was well taken cared for. My dog acted like he was at home from the second he entered their house - great sign and good vibes! I would recommend and book their services again.”

“My dog sitter had to cancel at the last minute which is how I found Kellie's page. She allowed me to do a meet and greet to make sure my dog got along with her dogs, and it went great. I got daily pictures and videos of my dog, Koda, playing and having the best time. (I was gone for 8 nights) Kellie and Paige took great care of Koda, and I was at ease knowing they had experience with nervous dogs before. I highly recommend Kellie!”

About: Welcome! I have over 20years experience working with dogs. I like to look at my pet boarding as an Airbnb for pets! I am a former service dog trainer. Basic training is eye contact, leash & buddy walking. I provide one on one time for the dogs each daily. I make sure no dog feels left out. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time. On weekends in the summers. I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie pool, water sprinklers and shade in the backyard. In the summer I offer water play daily! They have free will to come in & out of the house into the fenced in yard all day! In the fall & winter months the dogs can enjoy outside time by a warm outdoor doggie bonfire. There are areas they can romp in the leaves & explore. I also incorporate daily walks weather permitting. On colder days or rainy days we have a rainy paw day. About: I’ve had multiple cats all my life. I bring to the table 30+ years of cat experience. I have experience from taking care of them from birth and bottle fed to senior cat care. I’m a pro at keeping the litter box clean and the cats purring and kneading happy kitty biscuits.
“Rachel is very kind and caring to both you and your pets! She stayed with my two cats for a week and sent many pictures and updates that I didn’t need to check in or worry about a thing! I was very nervous using this site and a person I didn’t know to come stay in my home but once I met Rachel, I felt completely comfortable. I definitely recommend Rachel for a loving and worry free time away from your pets!”

I’ll definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I’m very attentive, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them company and making them feel safe while you’re away. While I haven’t owned a cat myself, I’ve cared for them multiple times and have always connected well with them. I understand that every pet has their own temperament, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

“Mia was great! Having her stay with my cat allowed me to enjoy my vacation and not worry. She sent pics daily and assured me everything was ok. I definitely will use her again and recommend her to stay with your fur babies!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, having the unique experience raising and training dogs through my father, an experienced police dog trainer and handler. I have a lot of patience and take great care in handling dogs of all breeds. I have skills and experience in crate training, potty training, leash training, getting pets used to kids and other animals, and breaking food and toy aggression. I am available for drop-in visits and walks for all animals. I am able to board up to 3 dogs at a time. I am able to pick up and drop off for an additional fee of $30 each. Pick up and drop off times are flexible. For boards longer than 3 days, I require a “doggy day care” trial with a minimum of 4 hours to ensure your beloved pet and I are good fits for each other. Proof of vaccines required. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have the flexibility to accommodate your pets needs throughout the day. Having three children, we are big fans of routines. I ensure integration of your animals into our daily routine. We live on an acre with a fenced in backyard. Because of the foliage, I do require your dog to be on a tick preventative for their safety. We will keep your fur baby company, loved on and entertained! We spend a lot of time at home, so your pup will never get lonely under our care. I also take time to read your dogs cues and body language and teach my children how to read these and the importance of respecting animals and their boundaries. We treat all animals with love and respect.

Whether your furry friend is a playful pup or an anxious companion, I use positive reinforcement techniques to create a safe and nurturing environment. I have a friendly 4-year-old golden retriever, Lily, who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, providing a perfect playmate for your pup. I regularly care for friends and family's pets, and have watched dogs recovering from surgeries and in need of medication. Our spacious 2.5-acre property offers plenty of room for dogs to roam, explore, and enjoy playtime in a safe setting. From daily walks to playing fetch in the yard, your pets will be in loving hands. Having used Rover to book pet care for my dog, Lily, I understand that leaving your dog can be nerve-wracking. Let me provide the peace of mind you deserve while you're away, knowing your beloved dog is receiving top-notch care! Working from home allows me to spend time with your dog throughout the day and attend to them as much as needed. I walk every day and am happy to take your pup along with me if they love walks too! With 2.5 acres and a super friendly, welcoming golden retriever, Lily, I'd love to welcome your dog into our home. We want your dog(s) to cozy in and feel at home, and welcome them sleeping in our room or in their crate, however they are most comfortable.

I have tons of room in my house. My front yard is incredibly spacious and has an electric pavilion that I keep food and water for dogs at in the daytime.

“Joni is awesome!!! Her setup is a like a dog's resort. She greeted us, showed us how my pup could run around freely inside and out. The topper, my dog loves to swim and she had a setup with the doggie stairs. She even sent me a video :). It was great to relax knowing my baby was in good hands!”

About: From early on in life I have always been an animal lover. I was the one bringing home injured birds and stray dogs/cats when I was a kid. My mom was supportive of that passion and helped me help so many animals over the years. I have personally only adopted animals from rescues and my current dog is a rescue. I volunteer time to local rescues and bring supplies to local shelters. I care for neighbors animals and homes when they go out of town. I am always very nervous about new people around my animal and home, so I always make sure to treat clients like how I would want to be treated. I really enjoy giving people one less thing to worry about. I am openly available. Besides the occasional errand, I am always home, so nobody will be left home alone! We are up with the sun and stay up late! We are on 9 acres with river access, a quiet country road and plenty of places to lounge or run! It is not fenced in.
“I know Fred loved it there and loved Ziggy. Taking him home he had no stress. He had a wonderful time, and wanted to go back today. I had to look at pout face today! Thank you for taking good care of him! We will be back.. Julie Richards”

About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and that hands-on experience is what I bring to every walk. I understand dog body language, pacing, leash manners, and how to read when a dog needs a break or a bit more activity — not from a course, but from years of actually living with dogs day to day. I treat every walk the same way I would for my own dog: attentive, on time, and focused entirely on their safety and comfort for the full duration. Whether your dog is high-energy, a little nervous around new people, or just needs a steady routine, I adjust to what they need rather than running a one-size-fits-all walk. You can expect clear communication before and after every visit, so you always know exactly how things went. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so dog walking isn't squeezed into a narrow window — it's a real part of my daily routine. That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.

About: I have always been around animals my whole life and grew up with multiple pets, caring for them since they were babies up until they were seniors. I’m 25 years old, going to school at Eastern Michigan University to become an elementary teacher. I’m very active and love to be outdoors! I love and treat my pets as if they were family and plan to do the same for your fur babies! I‘ve cat sat for my aunt and uncle and have pet sat for my friends and family as well as past clients on rover, and have worked on a farm in the past caring for horses, barn kitties and dogs. I really enjoy caring for all animals and i’m looking forward to care for yours as if they were my own! I’m a fast learner and very dependable so if your pets need any special treatments you could just let me know and show me how you approach it and I will do the same! My late St. Bernard was on heart medication so I know how to trick even the stubbornest dogs to take their pills or eat if they’re old and don’t have much of an appetite as they used to. I have recently moved to the Howell area and live in an apartment, however my complex is super dog friendly and my apartment has a big (unfenced) yard behind it (would have to keep your dogs leashed if they’re boarded here) with many trails! I’m looking forward to hearing from you and taking care of your furry friends 😊🐾 My schedule is very open for the summer, since I’m on summer break before I begin student teaching in late August. I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. I currently just moved to the Howell area and have not gotten a pet of my own yet, however I can pet sit your pets at my apartment if they’re potty trained, or can take care of them at your house as well!

I do provide talking dog buttons. If your dog uses them let me know & we will have them available with words your dog uses & hopefully learn some new ones! Anything that is trending that promoted positive life quality for dogs I usually have on hand or am incorporating it into use Each day I incorporate daily walks, cuddles, & basic training. If the dogs are open to it they can enjoy some doggy stretches, Spaw services such as coconut oil rubs on their paw pads, homemade doggie treats, and dog related movies and cuddles!

About: In our home every dog is a priority to us. We schedule activities around their needs and energy levels. We love to play outside, go for walks around our neighborhood and snuggle before bed. Our puppy is very high energy and loves to make new friends. The dogs will be in a safe environment, with a fenced yard, and will be given a bed time snack! We allow animals on all furniture within our home and in our bed to sleep at night, we also have a pallet dog bed available in our room. We are available most nights and weekends and are willing to keep your pup for an extended period of time. We would love schedule a day to meet you and your dog soon!
About: I pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and communicative. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I focus on providing consistent care, following routines closely, and keeping owners informed every step of the way. I work in education with summers free and much flexibility. I am happy to provide care at the time of day your pets need it! My home offers a safe and clean environment for pets. I have 3 cats who get along with other animals. In others’ homes, I offer respect for the space and reliability to follow instructions.

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs for at least 20 years. I love each as if they were my own. I also love turtles, and frogs but don’t have much experience with them. ❤️🐸❤️ I can do dog walking, and any other daily drop ins you may need. My schedule is very open for any house/pet sitting you may need also. I’d like this to be what I do for a career. I am willing to stay with your pet in your home and to walk your dogs in their favorite places. I want them to feel at home and comfortable.
About: I have in depth hands on experience with a variety of animals. I worked in pet care for a major chain pet store, caring for birds, small animals, fish, reptiles & amphibians. I spent a short time there as a dog trainer as well. I spent several years riding horses. I have personally owned my dog for all 13 years of her life, a big cat we adopted a few years ago, and a red factor sun conure, two frogs, and most recently a bearded dragon. I have personally owned rats many times, previously owned turtles & mice. I'm even somewhat familiar with chickens and ducks. With an elderly dog, I'm used to frequently taking her out to use the bathroom, and utilizing pee-pads and dog diapers. I'm familiar with puppy potty training as well. I'm a SAHM currently, so my schedule for pet care is pretty flexible! I'm hoping to make pet care something I do full-time, so I'm especially interested in folks who are looking for someone to come by regularly, but I'm very open and flexible schedule wise right now! ** I have a toddler, so let me know if your pet is not kid friendly** - PLEASE let me know when you request if you are still looking for other sitters. I have clients who might also like the dates you are requesting, and have many "our friend's daughter said she would do it", which is fine, just let me know you're still shopping around. Thanks. I currently only offer services where I would come to your home. I'm absolutely open to answering any questions clients might have to make you feel at ease with a stranger in your home. I know how important it is that your pets recieve care on the same level you provide it, and sticking to a routine they know, especially with a new care giver, to reduce their stress and keep them happy and healthy. You will recieve as many pictures and updates as you like! Never feel like your *bothering* me when you ask for additional pictures, updates, or information while I'm caring for your pet.

“Lola loves staying with Toni! I never have to worry when she’s there — she’s treated like part of the family. Lola comes home happy, tired, and totally spoiled! Thank you!!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Rosie. We appreciated all the pictures and updates on how she was doing. We also appreciated you being flexible when we extended our trip. She is now back home catching up on her sleep!”

“Ziggy loves boarding with Mandy 😊 She sends daily pics and updates, which is so relieving and it’s nice to see him enjoying his stay while I’m away. She is flexible, responsive, and takes great care of Ziggy. Thanks Mandy!”

“Andrew was seriously the BEST! I was super nervous because I had never tried boarding my cat anywhere, but Andrew provided a great place for Tomato to spend the day...so much so I don't think he wanted to leave! 😅”

“I'm so happy to find you Diane. Diane followed my notes and suggestions to the letter. My Rocky was not stressed out, very calm, and relaxed this evening. I highly recommend Diane's services. Just praying she can always fit my boy into her scheduling. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my boy.”

“Brittany was super sweet to our doggy. Always communicating with us, sending us photos, and keeping us updated. We are so grateful that Luca could stay with her, happy and safe while we were a part of a wedding this weekend. We are so happy and highly recommend her to take care of your pups.”

“Kim is a fantastic pet sitter who cares for my fur baby exceptionally well. She is friendly, trustworthy, and caring. This is already our third visit, and my dog has enjoyed his stay each time.”

“Amazing care for my Tito and highly recommend for any future care for your pets! She and her family made me and my family feel very comfortable and trusting for the safety and caring of our Tito in their home! I am very thankful! She will always be my go to for future stays!”

“One issue - Stella was wayyyyyy too spoiled! We felt very comfortable with Michelle and she communicated well from the first meet and greet to the week long stay. You can tell she truly loves animals and we will use her again. Thanks for making her feel at home and we also appreciate the fact that there is only one client at a time.”
