About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have a 12 year old Doberman, a 2 year old pitbull mix, 4 black cats, 2 donkeys, 6 chickens and a parakeet. In the recent past, I worked as a temporary Animal Care Technician at the Ingham County Animal Control which gave me experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and cats with different behaviors. I also learned a lot about giving medications and vaccines, animal enrichment, feeding guidelines and more. I am very interested in dog training so your dogs will get some free training as I am sure I will be practicing any new techniques I learn with my clients! Recently I opened a small dog daycare a mile down the road from my home. Any dog that stays with me will likely get to go down to play with other dogs during the day. BOARDING: Any dog I board must get along with my dogs. We will set up a free Meet and Greet at my home before the visit gets booked to make sure it will be a good fit. I have a large fenced in back yard but can also take your dog for daily walks if you prefer. We do also have 2 donkeys that share a fence line with our backyard area. They are used to dogs and have never broken through the fence. I always treat others pets as my own. I interact with them with patience, gentleness and love. I only use positive reinforcement.
