About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.

First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! About: I have owned and cared for dogs of many different breeds and sizes. Though I had a change in careers, I was studying animal-assisted therapy while working on my MSW and still plan to do some type of therapy-dog volunteering after I retire from working. On days that I am not busy with my 4 kiddos, I’m working on becoming a bookkeeper. Dog walking or check-ins sound like a nice break from studying! I will of course come prepared by reading any notes you have. Most dogs seem to know I’m a dog-lover, but I always approach calm and steady while I get to know a new dog.
