About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. I am an attentive, detail-oriented pet-sitter, who also knows the importance of respecting another person’s living space and maintaining routines for pets. About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have four acres of land far from the road with a big back yard and lots of woods and play space. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: From the time I was young, I’ve always had my own animals to include cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, and into my adult life. I continue to have dogs and ferrets as well as cats. My parents have always had dogs as well and have had a few litters of puppies that I have assisted with, and my dog has had her own litter of puppies so I’m very familiar with young dogs and training and patience. I’ve never worked in a vet clinic, but I have many years of clinical experience with humans so I do have that background. I work from home Monday through Friday and my home office is in our finished basement so the dogs have their own space in the basement with food, water, toys, beds, puppy pads as well as full access to my office to come and go as they please and they just spend the day with me while I’m working. We live on the lake so we don’t have a large yard but it’s also a private road so there’s no traffic and I have an outdoor pen for the dogs but when I’m not working, I also am outside with them so they are always being watched and tended to. I will take them swimming in the lake or out on the canoe if that is something that is OK with pet parents and we do go for walks in the mornings before I start my workday and at lunchtime if the weather permits.

About: I raised my own herd of dairy goats starting when I was 11 years old. I have been working with dogs since I was 16, I worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years and I now work at a shelter. I have loved all sorts of animals from a very young age. About: Used to be a manager for a mobile veterinary wellness clinic, have owned animals almost my whole life and currently have a giant bundle of fur chocolate lab at home. Intact 3 year old male. As well as a 4 year old boy and 4 month old boy and 2 tween girls who all love animals. DISCLAIMER- your pets MUST be well behaved enough around small children that are still learning how to safely approach animals in order for me to agree to sit them. Everyone’s safety is my number 1 priority as I have a 9 month old baby as well as other small children in the home. As I’m a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time throughout my day to implement your pets needs into our schedule. I don’t mind last minute bookings, as long as we’re free and non booked up. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. About: In the past when I’ve done some house sitting I ended up bonding with the animals which they had to call me Uncle Bobby which required visits even when the owners were home! I work 3 on 3 off and occasionally some overtime! So I actually do have a lot of time of but different days! So weekends and weekdays I actually can have time off! I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved three years ago, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with were specialtists.) She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have four acres of land far from the road with a big back yard and lots of woods and play space. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice.
