I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

About: Dogs have been my passion for 30 years. I have had all types of breeds - tiny to giant and have adopted all of my babies. I am experienced with giving special medical care and medications including injections as several of my kids have had severe illnesses. I believe there are no bad dogs, just dogs who express themselves differently. Would love to meet your four-legged family and help make them happy. My day rates are based on an 8 hr day. Rates for after 8 hrs can be discussed. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which allows me time during the day to provide the attention needed for walks and potty break. About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

About: I'm an animal lover and have grown up with all types of animals. I have been trusted taking care of neighbors, friends, and families pets for many years. My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days. I am in the office Wednesday through Friday and will have less time but still available. Weekends are free unless I'm away. I live on an acre of land. It is not a fully fenced yard but it is set back in a small, quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. I have an indoor cat.

Not only did he have the freedom to run in their large fenced in yard, he was allowed to swim in the pool. She even cooked rice and chicken for her to help settle her stomach and kept us updated on how she was doing, which meant so much to us.
