About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. My first job was at a pet store, and since then I have years of experience working in San Diego as a vet assistant and a shelter animal tech at the local humane society. “Samantha was great! I went on a 8 day trip and she made sure to give me daily updates about my dog and how he was doing and even gave him a toy he was always playing with.
