She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! I honestly don’t think Dodger realized he was being “boarded.” He thought he was on vacation with his new cousins, new uncles, and his new favorite person on earth (Dan 😆). From the minute we dropped him off, Jess was so reassuring and kind. She sent constant updates, pictures, and little stories that made my heart feel so much better. And not just “here’s your dog existing” pictures…NO. We’re talking: *Dodger cuddling her husband like they’ve been best buds for 10 years *Dodger snuggled up with her youngest like they were watching Saturday morning cartoons *Dodger and Tanner acting like long-lost brothers reunited *Dodger eating, relaxing, wagging his tail like a helicopter blade *Dodger getting a whole spa bath after rolling in the yard mud 😭💀 He even chewed through a Kong, which honestly deserves its own award. I warned her he was a super chewer, but I don’t think ANYONE was ready for him to destroy the “indestructible” toy. She just laughed and sent pictures like, “Welp, he’s having the time of his life.” 😂 The whole time she made sure I felt comfortable…even when my baby stole my phone and I panicked thinking I missed messages 😅 She was patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about him AND about us. Dodger came home happy, clean, tired, and FULL of love. His tail literally didn’t stop wagging the entire stay. And I’m pretty sure he thinks Jess’s house is his second home now…which I’m honestly fine with, because I know he’s safe and adored there. Jess and her whole family are wonderful, warm people. They treated Dodger like he belonged with them, and that’s all a dog mom could ever want. We will definitely be booking again (unless Dan steals him permanently 😂). No kids, married for over 40 years and living on a small farm in White Hall where we care for our menagerie of 4 legged friends. We know first hand how hard it is to find reliable help to look after our animals and the farm when we need to leave for anything more than a long day. Our alpacas are registered breeding stock and the guineas are for general amusement. But, the cats and dogs are all rescues, receive regular vet care and are fed on a routine schedule. We care deeply about their well being, nurse them like children when they are sick and spend a great deal of time and effort keeping them healthy and happy. We are regulars with our local vet and feed mill and know the area well. Hard work and long days are par for the course for us. Our common sense is well polished and we pay great attention to detail and feel quality communication is key to any relationship. We have been renovating a small farm house for many years, a work in progress as they say. We like to do business in the local community and are now in a position to offer our experience to the pet owners in our area. About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of pet medical experience, pet care, cat rescue, and TNR work. I have volunteered at Animal Rescue, Inc, walking dogs and caring for cats. I also volunteered for feral cat spay/neuter clinics. For over 20 years I have provided complex daily care, including medical needs, for my personal pets. This, and petsitting, have previously been accomplished during full time employment as a veterinary technician at veterinary hospitals. I have provided petsitting many times in owners' homes in the past. I can also pick up mail, water plants, close curtains, turn lights on and off, etc.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and I have 2 pets of my own. I feed and take them on walks every day I have 2 pets of my own. A dog named Reese and a cat named Sawyer. I am able to come to someone's home also. I also work in the evenings Wednesday through Sunday so I am able to care for animals in the mornings and all day on the days that I am off from my regular job which is Monday and Tuesday. If you need an overnight sitter I can do that as well. My schedule at work is usually 7 hrs and I would be able to come stay a night after I get off work. We can discuss that at a later time upon booking if needed. I take my dog out on the leash because of the place that I live at doesn't have a fenced in yard. Watch them closely when not on leash. I also have kennels that can separate them if needed.
About: I have lived with cats and dogs my entire life. Taken care of neighbors’ and co-worker’s pets. Previously worked for a cat vet, so giving medications is not a problem. Recently retired and looking to stay busy! I currently live with three of my own dogs and I’m finding extra free time these days. About: Hello, my name is Heather, I absolutely love all animals big and small! I live alone and have so much room to share with your 4 legged friend! Ive had multiple dogs in my life and all have lived to be 13+ years old, so I know how to care for puppies up to senior adult dogs. I grew up with multiple family dogs so I have experience with all different breeds and sizes. I enjoy going on hikes, kayaking and anything outdoors your dog will sure get some exercise and adventure with me! I am currently working part time right now, so I have plenty of openings in my schedule to take care of all your pets needs. I have a nice size yard with neighbors on both sides who have fenced in yards so you Furr baby will have plenty of safe and secure room to explore, I also have a gated in kitchen area of my home and have a crate I can set up as well if requested, I also do allow pets on the furniture they are family after all!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. I tend to be more of a night owl so I can help cats when they’re more active at night. I tend to work best with detailed instructions. From that moment I knew he would be okay, he had never been away from us for 6 days, so I was so nervous. Let’s just say Jax will be on the recurring schedule ( maybe he’ll get frequent flyer mileage) lol. Jill had an emergency and didn’t cancel, Chad and the boys didn’t miss a beat. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t know how to explain this except: Jess is basically Dodger’s second family now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for the type of sitter who treats your dog like FAMILY…like actual family…Jess is the one. I honestly don’t think Dodger realized he was being “boarded.” He thought he was on vacation with his new cousins, new uncles, and his new favorite person on earth (Dan 😆). From the minute we dropped him off, Jess was so reassuring and kind. She sent constant updates, pictures, and little stories that made my heart feel so much better. And not just “here’s your dog existing” pictures…NO. We’re talking: *Dodger cuddling her husband like they’ve been best buds for 10 years *Dodger snuggled up with her youngest like they were watching Saturday morning cartoons *Dodger and Tanner acting like long-lost brothers reunited *Dodger eating, relaxing, wagging his tail like a helicopter blade *Dodger getting a whole spa bath after rolling in the yard mud 😭💀 He even chewed through a Kong, which honestly deserves its own award. I warned her he was a super chewer, but I don’t think ANYONE was ready for him to destroy the “indestructible” toy. She just laughed and sent pictures like, “Welp, he’s having the time of his life.” 😂 The whole time she made sure I felt comfortable…even when my baby stole my phone and I panicked thinking I missed messages 😅 She was patient, flexible, and genuinely cared about him AND about us. Dodger came home happy, clean, tired, and FULL of love. His tail literally didn’t stop wagging the entire stay. And I’m pretty sure he thinks Jess’s house is his second home now…which I’m honestly fine with, because I know he’s safe and adored there. Jess and her whole family are wonderful, warm people. They treated Dodger like he belonged with them, and that’s all a dog mom could ever want. We will definitely be booking again (unless Dan steals him permanently 😂). Thank you, Jess, for loving our boy so well. He misses you all already! ❤️🐾 P.s thank you for being so accommodating and helpful with his bath, I loved getting to pick him up early and snuggle him with us the moment he came home🥹💕”
