About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. About: My experience and education ensures the safety of animals of varying temperament levels and backgrounds. I enjoy the process of building trust and confidence with animals through approved training methods/mental enrichment activities and using non verbal cues in a playful and meaningful way. Because I don't own any pets of my own I'm able to assist pet owners when they're away from home. I often accept requests up to 3 months ahead of time but, if possible, I will accept same day requests.
