About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. About: My experience and education ensures the safety of animals of varying temperament levels and backgrounds. I enjoy the process of building trust and confidence with animals through approved training methods/mental enrichment activities and using non verbal cues in a playful and meaningful way. Because I don't own any pets of my own I'm able to assist pet owners when they're away from home. About: Have watched family and friends’ dogs in my home for years. Currently have 2 family dogs of different sizes and ages. Range of experience. Lots of walking, playtime and snuggles. I’m home during the day and can adjust my daily schedule to the needs of the dog. My kids are in school during the day so it’s quiet during the day.
