This was my first time using rover and it ended up being way a way better experience than I could have ever imagined. Daniel and his wife are truly wonderful people🙏🏻🫶🏻I went on a cruise to Mexico 🌎🚢🌊..and had to leave my rescue pitbull pumpkin in safe hands..and I truly couldn't have found anyone better .🙏🏻🫶🏻 They gave "pumpkin" so much love and fun, I think she thought she was on vacation as well🥹🙏🏻 They treated pumpkin like she was family and when pumpkin had some health issues when I was gone they made sure that she was getting the best care. “Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

“We've had the same dog sitter for 9 years so we were a bit nervous about starting over again. Our rather large dog(Sassy) is special needs and she gets medicine multiple times a day. Beth and Ron were very accommodating and met with us before hand to calm our nerves. They were comfortable giving her all her medication, and at the times she requires it. About: I have been house sitting animals for about a year now in my home town. I have house sat all different size dogs and cats and have even done week long house sitting for the animals. I just recently moved to college and stopped dog sitting but I am ready to continue doing what I love! I am currently a full time college student at Salisbury University. I am done my classes everyday after 12pm and am available anytime on the weekends. I can't wait to spend quality time with your fur babies. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. But I’ve cared for my dog Tickle for 12 years now. I trained him as a puppy and care for him in his old age. I can do it all!! I’ve also cared for cats and fostered cats. I can administer medication, give baths, clean litter boxes, go for walks, and more! I am currently out of work and so I’m pretty available through out the week. I babysit sometimes but it’s usually once a week and very random. I am very careful with animals!! Most of these were in my home throughout the years, and around four years ago I began sitting for friends and family. I am very dependable, punctual, and I love to spend time with animals. Making sure your animal gets all their needs met and have plenty of social time while you are away is my priority! I currently work part time as a server, but with a minimum two weeks notice I can work my schedule around your animals needs to give them the best care possible. I base my time spent at the house per the animals needs, but will visit at least 2-3 times a day for an hour. About: ❗️❗️🙂 CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS🙂❗️❗️ I've been working for Rover since 2017, and I can truly say that I adore this job! I mainly specialize in working with dogs and cats, however I am willing to work with different kinds of animals if needed. I'm also a Washington DC native, who has recently moved to Salisbury, Maryland 💛🖤❤️🤍 ⚠️❗️❗️UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2024❗️❗️⚠️: If you are new client and need someone for a extended stay Home Sitting, the longest I will be willing to stay is 3 to 5 days. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.
About: I love animals of all sorts, and have had experience working in an animal science program for two years. On top of that, I have had experience with taking care of family and friends pets of different species, like rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I am currently a student at Salisbury University, but currently home in upper Delaware for Winter Break. I am available in the area from 9 am - 11 pm. I would do anything for my own dog, and I will treat any pet with that same attitude. I want all pets to feel as comfortable as they can without their parents.
About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started working in the pet grooming industry when I was just 11, and since then I’ve poured my heart into caring for dogs and cats of every age, size, and personality. I’ve raised entire litters of puppies alongside their mamas, comforted seniors in their golden years, and welcomed countless pets into my home for boarding and love. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a gentle brushing, or simply being a reassuring presence, I make it my mission to give every animal the same patience, safety, and affection I give my own. To me, pets are family—and I care for them with all the devotion that word deserves. Outside of pet care, I work a steady schedule—Monday through Thursday evenings from 4–10pm and Saturday mornings from 7am–12pm. That means I’m available most mornings, afternoons, and weekends to give your pets plenty of love, attention, and care. I like to be upfront so you’ll always know when I’m free, and I’ll make sure your pets’ needs are prioritized around my work. Reliable, consistent, and full of heart—that’s how I approach both my schedule and my pet care! When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own space. I follow your routines closely—from feeding schedules to favorite toys—so your pets experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. For dogs, I provide regular walks for exercise and stimulation, along with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and affection. For cats, I make sure litter boxes are clean, meals are on time, and they get the attention (or space!) they prefer. I treat your home with the same respect as my own, and I keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your furry family is doing. Growing up I’ve always owned several animals and so many plans were disrupted by the stressor of not being able to trust anyone with your babies. I can ensure you, I will make that worry disappear! My goal is simple: to give your pets the love and care they deserve while giving you total peace of mind.

Daniel and his wife are truly wonderful people🙏🏻🫶🏻I went on a cruise to Mexico 🌎🚢🌊..and had to leave my rescue pitbull pumpkin in safe hands..and I truly couldn't have found anyone better .🙏🏻🫶🏻 They gave "pumpkin" so much love and fun, I think she thought she was on vacation as well🥹🙏🏻 They treated pumpkin like she was family and when pumpkin had some health issues when I was gone they made sure that she was getting the best care. About: I have my own dog and cat, and I love animals. I love to spend time with them and bond with them! You can always find me cuddled up with my cat haha I'm taking a college class from home so I'm available pretty much whenever! If you need me to stay at home, I can definitely do that! “We've had the same dog sitter for 9 years so we were a bit nervous about starting over again. Our rather large dog(Sassy) is special needs and she gets medicine multiple times a day. Beth and Ron were very accommodating and met with us before hand to calm our nerves. They were comfortable giving her all her medication, and at the times she requires it. About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
