On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. “McCray was great, will definitely use him in the future to care for my girl. She’s very sensitive, she does not like being away from her home. Well, we arrive at McCrays home for the 1st time ever, Rita jumps out the car and runs to the door, like she knows where she’s going! And when we returned after our trip to collect her, so excited to see our girl, she stared out the back window of the car as we drove away and she’s been moping around the house ever since we got home! “This was the first time I used Karen and I will most certainly use her again. She and her family were very loving toward my golden Happy, and they treated her as a member of the family. I left her with them for a period of 8 days and over this time I received notes and pictures of Happy enjoying her self. They are professional and well organized. Sometimes other dogs might stay for a day or two, and they all seemed to get along. It is so nice knowing I can leave happy with someone I trust. Overall, a wonderful experience.”
