Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

About: I've had and taken care of dogs all my life. Recently after the loss of my Rams I have started dog sitting for family and friends. I heard about Rover through those friends. I am a recently retired federal employee who's daily and weekly schedule consist driving family members to various appointments. I am available Sunday afternoons through Saturday mornings. I have a fenced in backyard and two medium in house dog crates when needed. (scheduled appointments). In addition, I have dog gates and pens.
About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.
“My dog can be fear reactive when meeting new people but this was not the case at our meet and greet with Joann - Hazel was very comfortable with her, and even put her paws on Joann in a manner that suggested to me she really liked her. When I dropped her off for day care I watched as Hazel sidled over to her and stayed calmly at her side as I departed. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”

About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. I currently work full time, but I’m open for dog walks in the morning, afternoon, and on the weekends. If I’m around on the holidays, I’ll have my schedule open during the week. About: I have been taking care of my husband’s family’s 3 cats for over five years now. They have made me fall in love them. We finally took the plunge in two years ago and adopted our own fur baby, a little tuxedo cat named Winnie! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very young, and I always had a family dog growing up. For 10 years, I have consistently been trusted by neighbors, family, friends, and even friends of friends to care for their dogs in various capacities. I took daily care of my sister's dog, Charlie (sweetest girl), who is a golden doodle and was a puppy at the time for 6 months. This included three walks per day and feeding her breakfast and dinner, plenty of tug of war and backyard time, as well as treats for being the best girl, but not too many.. I frequently take care of my parent’s dog who is high-energy and high-maintenance (Australian shepherd/poodle mix) who goes on two long walks per day and gets a ton of frisbee time in the yard. I've even taken care of another Rover Pet Sitter's dogs for multiple days, and overnight, while she was out of town, which included three daily walks (each and separately) for her two angels, I mean dogs. They are both a bit reactive and anxious, so I have plenty of experience navigating any possible issues along those lines. I currently have a very flexible schedule and work from home Monday-Friday, so I have plenty of time during the week for afternoon walks in addition to morning visits or afternoon/evening. I have plenty of availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am more than happy to answer any scheduling-related questions you might have! I've always had a dog growing up and love them more than most people (haha). I frequently take care of dogs of various ages for friends and family when they go out of town or are extremely busy, including my sister's puppy daily for months after she first brought her home (she was finishing medical school). I've also taken care of a very active Rover Sitter's two dogs that are reactive and walk separately, so I have plenty of experience tackling this kind of situation. They both got three (3) daily walks, breakfast, dinner, and a ton of play time for a few days while their owner was out of town. . I enjoy getting to know dogs and their personalities, so it barely felt like work. I have also worked as an Instacart Driver and in the Real Estate world, so I am more than capable of handling different ways of accessing apartments/condominiums via codes, lockboxes, etc, if that is of any concern. About: I have had dogs my whole life. 15 years ago my mom was diagnosed with dementia and I did not want my mom going into a nursing home. So I adopted little Rico and moved us all into a retirement community where they both stayed in our home until their last days. I had them both for 12 years and as you can see they were attached to each other. “Bryn took such wonderful care of Leo over the weekend—we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Leo had an amazing time with her and absolutely loved spending time with her dog, Kepler. It was clear he felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. In fact, Leo enjoyed his stay so much that he didn’t even want to come back home! That says everything about how great Bryn is. If there were more than 5 stars, we would gladly give them to her. We will 100% be booking with Bryn again in the future. She is truly the best on the entire Rover website!”

“Andrea is the perfect sitter! I appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times and her very calm, personable and welcoming demeanor. Sarge loved being at her house and was already exploring the house by the time I left. Andrea made sure he had all the comforts of home and even got him to sleep in a dog bed that she provided. When I picked him up, he was very content and in no hurry to go home. I have already booked another stay, as I know Sarge will be in good care with Andrea.”
