“Have a small concern. When we got home the following morning after your visit, there was no dry food in Minnie's bowl and the water level was done to about 1/2 inch. The only thing we can think is that Minnie was full of anxiety and just ate and drank everything. To make sure that doesn't happen again, In the future we would love it if you could fill both bowls just before you leave at the end of your visits, whether that be morning visit, evening visit, or both. Minnie is very slow to warm up and is likely very scared and nervous about us leaving her. We will try the approach of filling both bowls at the conclusion of all future visits and see how that works out. Thanks.”

About: I have been in a home with dogs all of my life, as well as volunteered for shelters in my area. I am comfortable with caring for basic necessities and can administer certain medications if needed. I owned two dogs myself, who are the highlight of my life. Unfortunately, my cattle dog mix passed away in January 2025 due to unforeseen health problems, and I miss him every day, but I focus on making sure my surviving dog has the best life possible. 🖤 I am a basic obedience dog trainer, too. If your dog pulls on the leash while walking, we can talk about ways to fix that too. Being as I focus currently only on basic obedience, I can not assist with behavioral problems and will recommend a trainer who is more suited to help you. I know that you only want the best for your dog, and I could not agree more! I want to help you get the best dog you can out of your companion. I can work any day, anytime. I am new to Westminster and am getting to know the area but look forward to getting out there I have never had any issues with a pet escaping. If your dog has those kinds of impulses, I am prepared to teach them impulse control to help curb that behavior.

About: While I have no cats of my own, I've been around these sweet creatures my whole life! From barn cats to itty bitty foster kittens, to the skittish and "velcro" cats. I'm experienced with giving cats injections for things such as diabetes and oral medications for heart troubles. I also know how important it is to come back to a nice smelling home, so trust the litter box will be cleaned!!

About: I’ve always helped out neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family friends with their pets. My simple pleasure is taking dogs on long walks and being outside. I’m currently working part time so I’ll be free for walks and playing with your animals very often. I’m easy to schedule if you need mornings, afternoons, or both! I take dogs on long long walks (at least a mile) I can of course do less if your dog isn’t up to the challenge. I love to play after a walk as well.

I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. About: I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.

About: Simply put, I truly LOVE animals. I have always enjoyed spending time with, and playing with pets of all kinds. I will put your pets' needs above my own. I'm currently working full time, but I am usually home when not at work. I live 5 minutes away from my job, so I will always be available for your fur babies even while working if I need to be. I care for pets the same way I would care for a baby. Their needs are always more important than mine, and I will always make time for them. They also get plenty of attention and play time! Please note: I will have to crate them while at work. This is the ONLY time they will be crated. I will also be home around 1:30 for lunch to take your pet out for a potty break.

About: I have been in a home with dogs all of my life, as well as volunteered for shelters in my area. I am comfortable with caring for basic necessities and can administer certain medications if needed. I owned two dogs myself, who are the highlight of my life. Unfortunately, my cattle dog mix passed away in January 2025 due to unforeseen health problems, and I miss him every day, but I focus on making sure my surviving dog has the best life possible. 🖤 I am a basic obedience dog trainer, too. If your dog pulls on the leash while walking, we can talk about ways to fix that too. Being as I focus currently only on basic obedience, I can not assist with behavioral problems and will recommend a trainer who is more suited to help you. I am new to Westminster and am getting to know the area but look forward to getting out there I have never had any issues with a pet escaping. About: From house sitting and petting sitting for neighbors when I was young, to fostering pets for the past 5 years, and caring for friends pets when they go away, I have always enjoyed meeting new dogs & cats and caring for them, feeding them or administering medications, playing with & walking them, or just sitting & talking with them, even bathing them! I have a calm and friendly personality that animals gravitate to. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. My kids are 17 & 18 so they drive themselves around. I can help on weekends, overnights, weekdays, nearly any time, as well as on short notice. I would offer my own home as well but I have a cat and a dog so sometimes the guest pets don't get along with other animals. In your home I can sit with them and talk to them if they're a lazy pet, or take your pup for a walk or running if they're high energy. I could also take him or her for car rides to get a pup cup at Starbucks or to my large fenced in backyard to run around. I live off Sunshine Way in Westminster near the Wal-mart.

Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds.
