“Renee was an amazing sitter!! My pup can be both a little shy and very energetic but she did a great job taking care of him. She was always friendly and prompt in her communication and I’d trust her with any dog!”

“Min and Matthew were exceptional sitters for my girl, Rani! Not only did they play with her endlessly (seriously, Rani has zero ability to self-regulate and they went with it!), they also cared for her as their own pup. When she was being finicky about eating, Min took the time to spoon feed her just like I do. Min also send so many pictures and videos, which helped me feel so at peace knowing Rani was well taken care of and loved. I will definitely be sending Rani back to Min and Matthew’s in the future…the 40 minute drive to/from our place is more than worth it!”

“Emily was wonderful. Very responsive and took great care of my dog. She also was very accommodating when I arrived back later then expected to pick up my dog. Will definitely use her again.”

“Megan took such great care of our dog! She kept us updated with photos throughout our stay and we could see how happy our pup was. Her kids were also so incredibly sweet and gentle with her! Definitely recommend and will absolutely be rebooking when we’re in need of a sitter in this area!”

“Janelle and Joel took excellent care of our two shepherds while we were away for a week. They were so naturally good with them from the first moment we introduced them. We were able to relax and sleep at night, knowing they were being loved and cared for! They sent regular updates and pictures, even a special one from each dog on Mother’s Day. ❤️”

“Chris watched my dog, Francine while I was away and I can’t recommend him enough. He and his mom treated her like she was their own and provided daily updates and photos throughout her stay. It was a great experience and the most comfortable I’ve felt leaving my dog with someone else. If you need a trustworthy pet sitter, your dog will be in great hands with Chris.”

“Ashley is by far the best pet sitter that we’ve used on Rover! She sends photos and videos throughout our pups entire stay and really tends to her needs while she’s there. Ashley is always on top of things even when watching multiple dogs at a time! She is fantastic in keeping our pup safe, happy, and healthy while she’s in her home and ensuring that our requests and Sophie’s needs are met! This last weekend was probably our 3rd or 4th time booking with Ashley and we absolutely could not recommend her more! She is a 5-star Rover sitter all around and we can always tell just how much she loves dogs and loves her job! Thank you Ashley!”

“Ellen is a phenomenal sitter. Athena has stayed with her twice and there are always other pups for her to play with and so much space. Ellen has no issue at all maintaining multiple dogs! Athena is always so happy at drop off and pickup, and needs a big nap after her stay from all the fun! We look forward to booking again!!”

“Can’t say enough about how much my Fur baby loves her second home. Always treated like she is their own full of love and affection. Trusting these two with your animal is the best decision you can make. They are are wonderful.”

“I had to leave my dog Thenji with Adrienne and Nick at very short notice. They were able to take her. It was so reassuring to know that she was being so lovingly cared for!”

“Barbara was wonderful & took great care of Ruby!! She kept us updated with photos, videos & messages .. very appreciated. She also enjoyed playing with Dobby .. and came home a happy pup. We look forward to more happy stays with Barbara, Dobby & fam. Tnk you! :)”

“Chris and Gerry are so nice, loving, and kind. My girls felt at ease while staying with them. It helps that they only take one client at a time. If you are looking for someone to love your babies like their own, look no further. Definitely book with Chris and Gerry!”

“Terri was amazing. So chill and relaxed around our sensitive dog. She is one of those rare sitters that does not have her own dogs or cats and is 100% dedicated to yours. She has a house and yard that are peaceful and quiet and in a great neighborhood for interesting walks. I would 100% recommend Terri, she is an absolute gem.”

“Nat & Ally were amazing. We felt so comfortable leaving our baby June (an 80lb bernadoodle) with them. They sent pictures everyday that made us so happy to see how much love they were showing her. We will definately be repeat customers. Thank you so much Nat & Ally”

“They took wonderful care of our dog! They took her on field trips and adventures. They provided pictures and videos and were completely accommodating to our schedule and our dogs needs. Sammy had the best time and came home happy, healthy and tired! We felt completely at ease with them and their dog. Beautiful property for the dog to spend a weekend and we will happily use them again. Wonderful care of our dog without a worry! Thank you!”

“Rene did a great job with our dog Ruby. I received constant texts with pictures letting me know how she was doing and what she was doing. Ruby has some special diet needs and Rene was awesome in accommodating those needs. Definitely will use her in the future.”

“Jennifer is great with our pitbull Kato. He is so excited to go to her house every time we take him there he doesnt even say goodbye! She has toys for him to play with and always sends pictures to let us know how he is doing. He has stayed with Jennifer many time and she is always available in short notice.”
“If I could give more stars for Jesse, I would! She is absolutely perfect and took care of my Aretha with so much care and warmth. She even came over to assist me in getting Aretha situated because he was NOT a happy camper with going to a sitter while mom (me) was away. LOL This was my first time using Rover and I must say, choosing her was the best decision made! I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend!!!! A million stars!!!!”

“Rachel and Jason took great care of our little Shi-Chi overnight. Pepper is usually such a creature of habit that we didn't know what to expect, but seeing the photos of her while we were away really put our minds at ease. Rachel even went the extra mile cuddling our little lap dog and seeing that her ponytail and bow were straight. Highly recommend!”

“Samantha was absolutely amazing! She has a love for dogs that was immediately obvious by the way she interacted with my dog Maestro. I received frequent updates with heart warming pictures and felt connected the entire time. I would 100% recommend and will be rebooking Samantha for any future needs.”

“Robin was wonderful with our cat Ellie. Ellie is getting older and starting to have some issues. Robin took excellent care of her! It was so nice to be able to enjoy our trip and relax knowing Ellie was in great hands. I will definitely call on Robin again.”

“Heidi is a great pet sitter! She took amazing care of our dog while we were gone for 4 days. I received updates in the form of messages, photos and videos from every visit. We are grateful for her and will not hesitate to hire her again.”

“Tiffany took amazing care of our animals (cats, ducks, rabbits) while we were away! Great communication, sent us updates and pics with each visit. Would recommend her for anyone looking for pet sitting needs. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Brittany is very professional and loved my kitty kat Tucker even though he is terrified of strangers and wouldn't visit with her when she dropped in during the vacation week! She did everything needed for Tucker to be on his own and we would have her back with no hesitation - Thanx Brittany!”

“Kirsten did an excellent job. Responded to any question I had. We felt comfortable having her in our house. We had a good time while away, and did not worry about our kitties care.”

“She is really great. I had a last minute request, and she was very accomodating. I can tell from the pictures I get of them they are okay with her as opposed to most other people. I completely trust her with my cats.”

“This is the first time I have ever written an online review for anything. However, I have decided, in this case, a review is very much warranted. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. Heather knows she is responsible for members of your family and she takes that job very seriously. I will absolutely use Heather again in the future, as long as she is able and willing as well. Thank you, Heather!”

“Matthew came last minute for me and did a phenomenal job. I have a Cane Corso and German Shepherd and he handled both without any issues. Def will be using him again and highly recommend him.”

“Sarah was so wonderful with my car, Astrid. Astrid is very, very shy, and Sarah was able to draw her out for play and snuggles on the first day. I always worry about leaving her, but Sarah took such fantastic care of Astrid that I wasn’t anxious after the first day. Thank you for taking such good care of her!”

“Teri is a great cat sitter. She was 100% reliable, and gave me regular feedback. Buddy took to her right away, and, from the pictures, apparently enjoyed her visits. Upon my return, I found him healthy & happy.”

About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets since the age of 12. Neighbors as well as family friends have relied on me to feed and walk their pets even with a last minute request. I have experience with administering oral or injectable medications to dogs and cats. I’m currently working 1 part time job and am in college. My work schedule switch’s days so I am available in the morning as well as evening to do whatever is needed for a client. I am a very honest and trustworthy individual whose main goal is to keep clients pets safe as well as keep the owners calm and comfortable with me taking care of their pets.
“Disha was GREAT!!! She was very friendly and you could tell she genuinely cared for Jorge. She sent lots of photos and videos to assure me she was taking great care of him. She also goes above and beyond, so I would highly recommend Disha.”

About: Currently a stay at home mom. Prior to being a mom I was a pet sitter for 10+ years, but took some time off to focus on my family. I’m excited to get back to hanging out with all the animals! I grew up on a small horse farm and have always had dogs and cats. I have done horse sitting as well as dog/cats! I currently have an American Staffordshire terrier, Archie! Archie has a unique story to how we adopted him. He was a rescue from a hurricane in NC! I have a big soft spot for rescues and pits. Being a stay at home mom has left me with an open schedule and plenty of time to care for your pet. In some cases I may need to bring my son but I do wear him during my time there and that will always be discussed prior to me caring for your pet. I’m able to crate your dog if needed and follow your instructions on how to handle your pets. I have experience with giving some oral medications to my dog and would be happy to do so if that’s needed for your pet.
“Gabby is consistent and easy to schedule with. She never minds going above and beyond and is the first to offer and check if we need anything extra during her visits. Plus, she doesn’t mind crawling around while trying to lure our skittish cat out from under the couch with treats - that alone deserves 5 stars.”

“Heidi and her family were very accommodating. They made us feel safe, leaving our dogs with them. This is my first time using Rover with my golden retriever because I am very particular on who watches her. I would highly recommend Heidi and her family to my friends. Thank you Heidi!!”

About: My family and I absolutely love dogs we lost ours recently and I am not ready to get another one but would love to care for yours like he/she was our own. I have 3 very energetic kiddos that would love to play with and give lots of love and cuddles to your fur baby. I am a stay at home mom, we have no other animals of any kind so your fur baby will have all the attention when they stay with us. Please be understanding that no pets in the bed, its a very full bed already with 3 kids under 6.
“Tux has always been anxious when left behind, but did very well with Emily all day. She was very attentive to his needs and he got along well with her other daycare pup. She sent numerous pictures and answered my texts right away when I checked in on him. She asked permission to take him on a short ride in her car, which I granted since he loves car rides and hates being left behind. I will definitely book with her again. Thanks, Emily, for taking such great care of our boy.”

“We are new with Renee, Kuro has been consistently going in for day care for the past 3 weeks and I must say he has a blast. He is happy to go there, gets to play with other pups. Renee is patient and very attentive. She accommodates requests and also goes that extra mile to care for our pup. Thank you Renee.”

“Arnie is terrific! He's always early, has a smile on his face, and comes prepared with poop bags! Very efficient and flexible. Arnie has been a God send. I'm glad I chose him to take care of Cannoli while I recovery from.surgery. highly recommend!”

About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I've fed them, bathed them, given them medicine, and have always been relable. Currently, I am mostly self-employed & studying for a Real Estate license. I do work mornings at a horse barn, and have a contract gig working occasional weekends with a D&D-styled Bed & Breakfast. Thankfully those shifts are scheduled months in advance and, for barn work, typically wrap up around 11-Noon. :) I'm always willing to give dogs the ample affections and pets they need! I'm super attentive to when they need to go outside/take a walk, have their food right on schedule, have some playtime, or whenever they just geniunely need attention and love. I honestly do it everyday for my own dogs. So I'll have no trouble giving them the same needs I give my precious wee babies.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, from kittens/puppies to senior animals. I’m passionate about working with and helping animals. Their needs and care are important to me. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs! My availability is relatively open and I’m looking forward to taking care of your friend! I’m comforting crating dogs, comforting anxious animals and taking care of their needs as far as potty breaks, snacks, and so forth. I’m comfortable working with the system you have in place for your pet.
“Ximena is an excellent dog walker! She is incredibly reliable, always on time, and my dog absolutely adores her. I always come home to a happy and tired pup, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Highly recommend!”

About: I currently work as a caretaker at a dog daycare center, where I care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and play styles every day. Whether your dog is super energetic, anxious, older, or just needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m more than comfortable adapting to their needs. I’ve also worked as a farmhand, helping feed and care for animals like chickens and other livestock. I’ve also been around animals my whole life and currently care for a cat, an elderly black lab, and a young hound puppy. I’m a college student hoping to earn extra cash doing something I genuinely love! I treat every animal like one of my best friends and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Weekdays: Available after 1:30 PM for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. Weekends: Usually fully available for walks, house sitting, overnight stays, and extended care. I’m a Dog Daycare worker during the weekdays, so my services may be limited to the afternoon + evenings from Monday-Friday. With dogs, I’m very patient and comfortable with all personalities, including high-energy, excitable, or anxious dogs. I focus on calm and respectful handling and try to help very anxious dogs feel safe by giving them space, approaching slowly, and using gentle reassurance like calm voice and light petting on their side when appropriate. I pay attention to body language and always aim to build trust rather than pressure them into an interaction. If a dog is acting out, I redirect their attention and follow any training or behavior instructions provided by the owner. With cats, I’m used to reading their behavior and giving them the space or attention they want. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. I have experience caring for kittens, including feeding and basic hands-on care, as well as senior cats who may need routine medication or any extra attention.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and want to spoil yours! I have owned cats and dogs both and take care of many of my neighbors pets all the time! I am the person who is always getting distracted and running late because I ran into a dog that needed to be pet! I am not currently working so I am free to walk and take care of your pets full time! I can easily adjust my schedule to stay overnight if needed and just visit if not! I have lots of experience walking dogs safely (my last dog was a beagle, so I know how the nose can lead a dog!) I am happy to crate your dog and keep them safe at your home and in your yard and neighborhood!
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 5. I’ve always believed that they should be shown so much love and compassion. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of varying ages. I have no problem following whatever routine and habits that will make your pets feel comfortable.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! My dogs are gone but not forgotten, r.i.p. ♥ I have a fenced yard and a cat-tio. Safety is utmost important to me while caring for animals. Trust me, I care immensely. No worries.
“Dominika took great care of Stella. I would have her walk and care for my dog again. She was attentive, shared lots of pictures, and even went out of her way to text my mom to schedule based on her availability.”

About: I have 30 years of pet care experience with a wide range of animals. I have also owned horses, cows, goats and other large animals as well. I am comfortable with medication management as well as taking care of puppies and senior animals. I am 100% respectful of your home and space and will leave your home in the condition it was when I got there. I understand that pets are more comfortable in their own spaces and will follow any routines and instructions you have for their care.

About: Hi!! I’m Tatiana and I’m here to take the best care of your pet! I love all sorts of animals, big and small, mighty and shy. I am reliable, have my own car, and am free 95% of the time! I am currently unemployed and looking for extra ways to make income. I am available practically all of the time. I am not picky! Taking care of animals is part of who I am. My cat, Mila, can testify! Unfortunately I am unable to bring pets into my house, but I am more than willing to provide my exceptional services at your comfy home! I have experience with many animals!

About: My husband and I have been around dogs our entire life, small to large breed, we love dogs! Our little one absolutely loves having them around, being outside, throwing ball, treats, etc. So, your pet would need to be great with kids :) We live in the beautiful Whittier neighborhood with plenty of walking options. Our backyard is enclosed with a high eight foot fence. So, your pet would be plenty comfortable. Or, if you're away, I could come to your pet for their time outdoors. I have a small SUV, so transportation is always an option! We're comfortable letting your pet roam the house while we're here and away. We would only take on more than one dog after talking to the owner of our current stay, and the dogs are compatible, or they come from the same home! With that said, we do not have any four legged pets of our own.... only tanked ones ;) three amano shrimp, two tetras, and two narite snails! So, your pet will have the luxury of our undivided attention! When your pet would come to stay with us, we do ask for as much info/'their 'stuff' as you can bring/provide regarding your pets normal/routine at their home, commands, tricks, toys, food, bedding... etc so your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time here, and so we can keep them in as much of a similar framework as their home. The Rover site allows for pics and videos. So, we like to take a few during their stay and send them to owners! Our current stay and past stays have really enjoyed this! Prior to you or us making a decision on your pets stay, we would like for you all and your pet to visit our home. This will allow you to see and get a sense of our neighborhood and home - where your pet will be staying, and meet us! I hope this has been helpful for you!
“We can’t thank Leah enough for dropping in on our pups for us. She spent time with all 3 and was careful to follow all instructions for our foster babies! We’ll definitely be having Leah watch them again in the future!!”

During high school and college, I would often dog sit as an overnight sitter for local families and professors! I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. My job consists of mostly evening hours, which leaves me some extra availability throughout the day ! This makes me an extremely flexible person, and I’m more than willing to work with you. I have a lab/pix who is friendly to most dogs after a quick introduction- I also have the ability to keep dogs separated from each other.

“Renee was an amazing sitter!! My pup can be both a little shy and very energetic but she did a great job taking care of him. She was always friendly and prompt in her communication and I’d trust her with any dog!”

“Barbara was wonderful & took great care of Ruby!! She kept us updated with photos, videos & messages .. very appreciated. She also enjoyed playing with Dobby .. and came home a happy pup. We look forward to more happy stays with Barbara, Dobby & fam. Tnk you! :)”

Thank you!”

“Samantha was absolutely amazing! She has a love for dogs that was immediately obvious by the way she interacted with my dog Maestro. I received frequent updates with heart warming pictures and felt connected the entire time. I would 100% recommend and will be rebooking Samantha for any future needs.”

“Kelly was amazing with Crash. She and her family had Crash for a full month... and he was clearly a happy Dog. When he is stressed he loses hair on his side, that did not happen!!! And his first night/day home, We think he was depressed b/c he missed Kelly and her Family.. She Truly kept us informed, sent pictures and was just such a peace in our hearts to have Crash so happy. We will use Kelly again!!”
