I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”

“Thomas was an absolutely amazing and wonderful sitter for our little pup. We’re also so worried about leaving her with a sitter because she suffers from horrible anxiety and is so fearful of a lot of things (new people included), but from all the pictures that Thomas had sent us, it seemed like our little pup was able to quickly make a home and feel at peace for the duration of the sit. Besides being a good sitter for our fearful pup, Thomas was also very flexible and responsive. We had booked him so last minute, and we couldn’t get home in time due to the recent snow storm. As anxious as we were about these problems, Thomas was great and alleviated a lot of our stress by accepting and kindly taking care of our pup for even longer than intended. Highly recommend! And we hope to book him again sometime in the future!”

About: I have dogs of my own that I take on daily walks. I have two husky’s (11 and 6 yrs) and a pitbull I had for 13.5 yrs (she crossed the rainbow bridge). I enjoy going out for walks because I know it’s a dogs favorite time of the day. I’ve taken my friends and family’s dogs on walks while they’ve been out of town. I’m looking to walk dogs in the evening when I go for my afternoon walks around the neighborhood. There are times where I may have availability during the day as well. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”

They have a lovely home with a fenced off section outside for the dogs, which was a great feature. I received photos of Hazel during her stay, and she was very happy to return the second day. About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. I currently work full time, but I’m open for dog walks in the morning, afternoon, and on the weekends. If I’m around on the holidays, I’ll have my schedule open during the week. About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. 15 years ago my mom was diagnosed with dementia and I did not want my mom going into a nursing home. So I adopted little Rico and moved us all into a retirement community where they both stayed in our home until their last days. I had them both for 12 years and as you can see they were attached to each other. I lost them both three years ago and now I'm fostering, taking care of neighbors dogs in my community and joining the Rover family. I will take care of your fur babies with the same love and care as I took care of my mom and little Rico just as if they were my own. My schedule is very flexible and can easily be changed around to accommodate your needs. I try to facilitate my clients even in emergency situations. I would say within five minutes of the meet and greet it was clear that Shanilka and her husband would be taking great care of him.
