“Leaving our Shichon, Shipley, for three weeks while we traveled internationally was something we were very nervous about. It was our first time using a pet sitter, and because Shipley has some anxiety, we worried about how he would adjust. Shane and Brittany completely exceeded our expectations! From the very beginning, they made us feel at ease by sending regular updates with photos and videos. It was such a relief to see Shipley happy, relaxed, and having so much fun. He bonded with their entire family and loved playing with their dogs. Seeing him so comfortable made our trip much more enjoyable because we knew he was in the best hands. We were so impressed with the care, love, and attention they gave him that we’ve already booked them to watch Shipley again when we travel in August. We honestly can’t imagine using another pet sitter. If we ever have to, they’ll have some very big shoes to fill because Shane and Brittany have set the bar incredibly high. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. About: I have been caring for my own pets for 10+ years and could like to get into formal care. I have also pet sat for my friends and family in the past. As of now I am available daily for pet sitting or walking. I don’t mind waking up early. Would prefer not to be out too late alone. I like to hang out with my dog and take him for walks. He’s pretty lazy though so we just sit together a lot of the time. I will follow any instructions you leave.

About: I have watched all animals from big dogs to small dogs to lizards and bunnies. I love all animals and love to help out even for a small walk and feeding or giving meds. I drive a school bus so I have a big gap in the middle of my day about 5 hrs where I can walk animals or feed them or hang out with them. Also I have some time after work if it is absolutely needed I respect what ever the house rules are and love the pets as my own. I treat them all with love and care as if they were mine and if anything changes I communicate that with the owners well in advance with schedules and changes
