“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”
“I usually don't leave reviews but I have to this time. Renee is amazing! We found ourselves needing a sitter for our 7 month old Golden Doodle for a week. I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats. We do tend to spoil them. I have lots of room for them to run and play in our fenced in yard. We walk them on a leash through our nearby cemetery. I currently work part time with Amazon flex. I will always be available if I have any pet jobs as Amazon flex is very flexible. I’m available for home and pet sitting. I have a fenced in back yard and currently own 1 miniature Daschund female 2 years old to help keep your furry friends playing or if needed I can use a crate with permission only.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have experience with both large and small dogs breeds. I currently have 2 dogs- a golden retriever and a lab mix. I work a full- time job Monday- Friday 7-3, I am available evenings and weekends. I have holidays off and will also be available then. My dogs have free roam of the house, including furniture and beds. My dogs are crate trained when I am not home. About: I have grown up with animals since I was a baby. I have had three dogs and two cats, and they have always been the joy of my life. Even from the age of 7, my job in the house was to take care of the pets. Walking the dogs, scooping the litter, feeding/hydrating them, etc. I was always in charge of my pets growing up because I love animals so much. I also have experience in dog sitting as well, as in high school I would do it as my job from Freshman year to Senior year. Overall, I have essentially grown up caring for animals, and as I am across the country from my pets at my parents house (in Maryland) I would love to provide that nurturing and love for someone else’s pets! I am working part time at the moment, and am in school, however my schedule is extremely flexible! I do not have many classes in college, as I am only finishing a few credits, and my job has cut my hours. Therefore, I am extremely available to provide services for your pet! Growing up with dogs and cats, I am extremely aware of how to take care of and nurture pets. In regards to taking care of your dog, I will foremost ensure that I provide them love and attention, making sure I play with them and give them the affection they need. In terms of walking them, I am easily able to keep up with them, as I am an athlete (and I also grew up bigger dogs, which is why I am very good with walking them). Along with that, I have a lot of energy and stamina, and will make sure they get a proper walk, and proper playtime. When it comes to their potty, I always make sure they get a proper walk in order to let that out, and along with that I always have bags to clean and dispose of it properly. I am extremely good at reading the body language of animals as well (as I grew up with dogs) therefore, I have an understanding of what they are feeling in a certain moment. I am the person at the gathering that sits in the corner with the dog, making sure they are not thirsty, anxious, scared, etc. Overall, I would say that I have a deep awareness for dogs. In terms of cats, I also have a very thorough understanding of them as well. I approach them differently than I do dogs. When it comes to kitty litter, my duty growing up was to clean it out. That allows me to know how and when to efficiently clean and switch it. I also understand that cats are very selective, so I would be extremely aware of their emotional/social attitude, and would allow them to approach me if they would wish to. In terms of playing with them, I know that they prefer certain toys and gadgets (and I would be more than happy to bring those with me when caring for someone’s cat). I also know the proper amount of food to provide a cat, and how much is good to feed a cat in terms of their size. I grew up with a very large cat, as well as a smaller cat, so I have an awareness of that. Overall, I would say that I am very cognizant of animals needs and, most importantly, I would be there to provide them a level of love that I wish I could provide for my childhood pets back home in Maryland.

I wake up walk the dogs feed them every two hours they go on a walk I like right by a dog park.bruah them bath them if they need it I go above and beyond for your fur baby's. About: I have experience in caring from all types of animals from hermit crabs, lizards and fish to cats, dogs rabbits horses and everything in between lol. About: I have a 12 year old goldendoodle named Taffy who I have raised since she was a puppy. I have walked dogs and house sat for friends and family since I was young and will always take the opportunity to spend time with animals of all kinds! I recently graduated from UMD and I am taking a summer class to finish up my double degree. Otherwise my schedule should be fairly open and I should have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I can follow any directions needed for caring for your fur babies. I can go for long walks to provide exercise, play (of course), cuddle, reinforce tricks/training, administer oral medicine, etc.. About: Having the background of being raised on a farm has given me an innate love for animals. I have become a go to person for my friends and family in the city with not only dogs, but farm animals as well (cows, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits etc.). I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.
About: In my opinion, animals are the best thing in the world! Especially when they become pets. I am a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, but I have always had other passions. One passion would definitely be my love for animals and nature! When I am not at the hospital I would love to get to know you and your family pet! I love all animals so much ... I got allergy weekly/biweekly shots (2 in each arm) to prove it!! I am super interested in caring for your family pet and making them feel like you never left home! We have a dog bed in almost every room, space for you to bring a crate, or an area that can be closed off overnight if necessary or requested. There are few places in the house that the dogs don't have access to out of an abundance of safety. Otherwise, they are welcome to make themselves at home! About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid, and I have experience with taking care of many different breeds, young and old. I love animals and will do everything I can to make yours comfortable and happy. Work is currently slow, so I have the time to give your pets all the attention they need. I am available anytime throughout the week and most weekends. I have two friendly dogs that would love to keep yours company. I do not have a fenced yard, but walk them on my private lane often, and take them to the dog park. My pets get fed twice a day, but I can feed yours as often as you’d like - they also have some treat throughout the day.

About: I have a strong love for animals, and have grown up with many different species my whole life. I currently have 3 cats, but I love dogs as well and hope to get one of my own someday. I have worked at multiple doggie daycare/boarding facilities and have worked at a veterinary hospital for over 4 years. “Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”
