Since I have a small dog in my home, dogs over 40lbs will be considered on a case by case basis. A meet and greet is required for all dogs over 40lbs. Fortunately, my office is only ten minutes from home, so I’m able to come back each day during my lunch break to let the dogs out for a potty break and some playtime. My husband is a self-employed electrical contractor, and there are times when he’s home while I’m at work. When either of us is home, the dogs are taken out at least every two hours. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly pups of our own. Because they experience a bit of separation anxiety, our dogs relax in their kennels when no one is home. For that reason, I ask that any dogs staying with us are crate trained as well. Crates are only used when the house is empty. This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life. I currently have a Blue Great Dane named Diesel. He is great with other dogs, and we will have to do a meet and great to make sure you’re pup will get along with him also. I’m usually available unless the wife has me doing something. I spend every min I can with my dog and will show your dog the same treatment. My yard is unfenced for now, but it is 2 acres that’s at the end of a quiet neighborhood. We have plenty of room to play and go on walks.
