About: Dogs have been in my life since I was 12 years old. I have had 4 dogs throughout that time. I have experience with both senior dogs and high-energy younger dogs. I am more used to smaller dogs, but one of my current 2 dogs is a 54lb pitt-bull, the other one is a 15lb pug mix. I also used to take care of a 70lb standard poodle for a family I was a nanny for. I am currently unemployed, so I have open availability. I am working on my master´s degree and would like to use this extra time to save a little money since I just got married. “Dee Dee provided wonderful care for my pets! I travelled for a week and she cared for my three cats. Her communication was perfect and she was able to care for these cats even when they were hiding! Reassured me with pictures that she gave them fresh food and water and even would leave treats for them. We have a hermit crab and hamster and she looked after them as well- refreshing the water and food. I would definitely ask Dee Dee to help us again! Her daily messages and pics were so helpful and my pets were very happy when we got back home (I had another experience where I came home to scratched up things and random pee spots (even on my bed)! My cat wasn’t feeling well and she was very willing to do whatever needed to get her the proper care. She administered antibiotics and sent me detailed messages about how she was doing with daily photos. “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. About: Hi all! I am updating our profile as a lot has changed since we last boarded dogs through Rover! We have a small yorkie in our home. He sleeps most of the day and gets along with other dogs. We now live in Montgomery Village and have a fully fenced in backyard for added exercise and play! We have two small children at home who know how to treat animals; we will only be accepting dogs for boarding that are comfortable with kids and the volume of chaos that comes with them! We are offering boarding services only in our home. I am allergic to cats so only dog care is provided. I was not able to mark these on the rover website without freezing other relevant details. We could see Remy was really comfortable with them. They looked after her food and meds needs and it looks like Chris gave her plenty of exercise as well which is a huge plus with the backyard. Remy returned to us just how we had left her with them. Would recommend Chris for tremendous empathy with animals and also excellent communication and updates.”
“Andrea is the perfect sitter! I appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times and her very calm, personable and welcoming demeanor. Sarge loved being at her house and was already exploring the house by the time I left. Andrea made sure he had all the comforts of home and even got him to sleep in a dog bed that she provided. When I picked him up, he was very content and in no hurry to go home. I have already booked another stay, as I know Sarge will be in good care with Andrea.”
“Was extremely happy with Jared. He paid close attention to all the instructions and took great care of both of my dogs. He sent lots of pictures and videos and the dogs were obviously very happy there. He definitely went the extra steps to make sure they were well taken care of and we've already booked him again!”
