This was our first time leaving Benny with someone else (we were away six days) so we were already a bit on edge; Sriju put us at ease immediately. Everyday while we were gone Sriju sent texts and pictures (usually once in AM and once in PM). She took Benny on numerous walks throughout the day as well as to the dog park. She adjusted to his needs, not the other way around, and provided an atmosphere that made Benny completely comfortable, as evidenced by his affection toward her when it was time to pick him up upon our return. About: While I don't own a dog, I have been around them all my life, and have never know i dog I didn't love, or didn't love me. Rover has opened doors for me to meet and relate to new people and pets. I am a supervisor at my job and i also am in school as a grad student, so i take responsibility very seriously. As a dog sitter, I view this as an oppurtunity to connect with different people and of course animals. Also, forcing me to get outside and be more active! I would like to be able to walk your dog, complete check ins, and house sit. Unfortunatley, as much as I would like to, I cannot dog board with my current living status. “Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them.
