We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”

About: I've been around dogs all my life, I've had three wonderful family dogs growing up with distinct personalities and needs. I have experience with dogs with special needs such as mobility issues, temperment/reactivity issues, and medication regimes. I dogsat my teacher's epileptic poodle when she couldn't be boarded due to her medication needs, helped my neighbor's basset get around during the last years of his life, walked and played with my other neighbor's golden to get his energy out, gave a much-needed bath to a frail elderly minature when his owner passed away, and nursed a sickly puppy back to health while he was being quarantined in my room away from other pets. I believe dogs are unique like people and they all have different boundaries, comfort levels, personalities, and needs, and the secret to the best pet care is getting to know every individual like they are your own loved one. I work part time three days a week, and spend the other portion of my week freelancing and doing my own thing. I hope to be doing dog-sitting and walking whenever possible during those free days! I cannot host pets in my own home due to my own pets, but I'm totally willing to come hang out with your pet at your home! I'll take your lead: Want me to hang out there for hours and keep your pet company? Works for me! Want me to only check in every so often, and only enter parts of the home that I absolutely to? About: I have grown up with cats and dogs for my entire life, and I have frequently been asked by neighbors and family friends to care for their furry friends while they are away. I have been consistently petsitting for a family for the past 2-3 years, taking care of their two french bulldogs. I am comfortable with puppies and older dogs, have a car so I can take your furry friends to any dog park/trail that they may be accustomed to, and have flexible availability as I am a college student currently on summer break. I have some light experience training my own puppy with simple commands, and have experience in dealing with pets that have general anxiety/nervousness, as my own dog has been on medication for anxiety before. I'm currently a college student working part-time during the summer with a very flexible schedule! My availability is typically Wednesday-Sunday, however sometimes Fridays are tricky for me. I can drop in any time of the day from 8am to 8pm, and I am flexible on days/times if needed! On Mondays and Tuesdays I am also available for quick midday check ins, quick walks and some play time! Drop-ins consist of potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles in order to keep your pet happy and healthy while you are away. 30 Minute dog walks consist of a stroll around the neighborhood or at a local trail or park where your dog will get their exercise, mental stimulation, and fresh air for the day.

She went above and beyond the 3 page list of instructions I gave her. 🙄 I had complete confidence, trust and peace of mind knowing Madeline was about to be spoiled, she was included in her daily routines which included car rides and shopping all while observing for any stress. “I’d give 6 stars if i could. We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”
