I realized they were an hour away but that didn’t matter. I drove up and felt extremely welcomed there when I walked in that door. Winston made himself right at home. “David was such a great pal to my 8-month-old golden retriever, Stanley, who has the energy of a caffeinated toddler and the emotional eagerness of someone who thinks every head scratch might be their last. I got regular updates — photos of 5:30 a.m. tug-of-war, joyful dog park adventures, and one sneaky but proud toilet paper heist — which made being away for five days (our longest stretch yet!) so much easier. When I picked Stanley up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. Communication with David was smooth, direct, and quick, and he was super flexible. When Stanley saw me through the screen door at David’s place, he was wiggling with excitement — but also clearly torn to leave his new friends. I’d trust these two to hang out again anytime!”

I was a bit nervous but as soon as Brady and I met Andrea & Bob my anxiety was put to rest. Brady went right up to them and they were very loving towards him. About: I have owned 4 dogs throughout my entire life and am a total animal lover! I love and enjoy walking and connecting with dogs, and have had much experience walking my own dogs (2 Portuguese water dogs) as well as dogs of my friends and family. I also have experience feeding, bathing, and playing with/entertaining dogs. They are my favorite! I am working part time with an ambiguous schedule, so I definitely have availability for walking dogs whenever! Weekdays during the morning/afternoon work best for me, but feel free to reach out about other times, I am flexible! I have a backyard with space to play around, as well as a retractable fence. About: I raised my blue heeler since he was a puppy in 2020, so I have training experience and am used to high-energy breeds! I took care of my previous dog as she was aging too, so I am comfortable with administering medication and senior care. I have both a dog and cat at home (Dewey and Pumpkin!) who I love and care for. I am currently a member of AmeriCorps Cape Cod. I live in Wellfleet but am usually in Harwich during business day hours. I am almost always available after 4pm and on weekends, or during my lunch break if you are close by! I unfortunately cannot have pets in my house, but I am more than happy to take care of your pet in its own home. I will spend as much time there as possible to keep your pet company and ensure bathroom breaks at least every 4 hours.
About: I grew up with dogs since I have memory. I've pet sit for my family. When I moved to Cape Cod I started helping out my coworkers with their pets taking them for walks and staying over to take care of them when they had to be away . I can be flexible when is about taking them for an hour walk, but preferably I will take bookings after 5pm I am free from my official job. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. About: Hi there! My husband and I are the ultimate dog people. We both grew up with dogs and have been caring for them on and off Rover for years! We took a break from this app as we had a couple of regular pup clients but we are back and eager to meet yours!!! We have been caring for dogs for over 25 years. We are very active and we love hikes in the state forest or long walks on the trails of Pinehills, Hedges Park, Plymouth Long Beach, and the canal. We live 2 houses down from Bloody Pond if your pup enjoys swimming!! We have a mellow 3 year old boxer named Polly. She is such a little love, more mellow than your typical 3 year old boxer, is great with all dogs, and can often be found sun bathing on our back patio. Although not completely fenced in, we have a tie out run and live on a dead end street. We both have very flexible schedules which makes for great availability. We will always do our best to accommodate requests! Drop ins and dog boarding are mostly what we do but don’t hesitate to reach out re: dog walking and house sitting. Please note, meet and greets are required for all dog boarding and house sitting requests. Our yard is 3/4s fenced in and we live on a dead end. Dogs are NEVER off leash without owner permission and our full trust in the pup.

I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I love going on adventures with trail hikes, beaches and exploring with your pups. I know dogs, and I know their needs. Dogs need social interactions, company and lots of attention just like we do as humans! Your dog(s) will always be my bestie too! I look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and your fur baby! I am home full time (early retired teacher) and have plenty of time to walk, play and cuddle with your pet! I’m available for your needs and your pet needs too! I have a great yard, deck to play and hang out together. I live in a quiet area that has great places for taking walks, hikes, beaches (when dogs are allowed during the year here), and adventures with your fur baby! People tell me it’s like doggie vacation camp when their dogs come stay with me!

About: I have been a Veterinary Technician for 5 years, and continue to volunteer with animal welfare and environmental/conservation organizations. I have dedicated my life to the care and welfare of all animals in my care. I currently work full-time as a Veterinary Technician. I am available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, to drop in for a dog walk, take care of Kitty's, or do over nights. I realized they were an hour away but that didn’t matter. I drove up and felt extremely welcomed there when I walked in that door. Winston made himself right at home. “David was such a great pal to my 8-month-old golden retriever, Stanley, who has the energy of a caffeinated toddler and the emotional eagerness of someone who thinks every head scratch might be their last. I got regular updates — photos of 5:30 a.m. tug-of-war, joyful dog park adventures, and one sneaky but proud toilet paper heist — which made being away for five days (our longest stretch yet!) so much easier. When I picked Stanley up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. Communication with David was smooth, direct, and quick, and he was super flexible. When Stanley saw me through the screen door at David’s place, he was wiggling with excitement — but also clearly torn to leave his new friends. I’d trust these two to hang out again anytime!”

“This is the first time that we have left our dog Brady with someone who was not a friend or part of the family. I was a bit nervous but as soon as Brady and I met Andrea & Bob my anxiety was put to rest. Brady went right up to them and they were very loving towards him. He was there with them for almost two weeks and we received regular photos of him looking very happy and comfortable in his surroundings. When my husband picked him up, he said Brady didn't want to leave. About: Graduated from UNH class 2014 with a Bachelors in Zoology. Proud to have over 20 years of animal care. 15 years of multi pet ownership . ---Raised and trained 8 dogs from puppy to adult. Spent 6 months volunteering at an animal shelter. Have completed Two separate 10 session dog training courses with a certified dog trainer. My family and I currently have two dogs and a lizard, so pet care is part of our daily routine, 24/7 365. My own dogs are walked daily and stimulated through play and training. When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs.
