About: 30 years as a dog mom, 2 young school-aged kids + friendly puppy!! Dogs have been a part of my life for more than 30 years! I grew up with a dog from the time I was 4 until I was 20, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. At 28, I got my own dog, who was a beloved part of our family for nearly 13 years. Shortly after saying goodbye to her we welcomed Lola, our mini dachshund, into our family in May 2026, and she has brought so much fun and energy to our home. I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day care that comes with having a dog, including walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Our family includes two young school-aged children, so our home is loving, active, and full of attention. Lola loves having other dogs around, so we’re especially excited to welcome friendly, social dogs who enjoy playing and having a canine companion. We’re a great fit for dogs who enjoy being part of a family and having plenty of love, attention, and playtime! Your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re with us! We take dogs out first thing in the morning, throughout the day as needed (typically at least every 3 hours), and again before bedtime. I work from home during the week, so I’m around and available throughout the day. On weekends, we’re home most of the time with Lola and the kids, so there’s plenty of company, attention, and playtime. We enjoy getting outside for walks and, when appropriate, may visit a dog park or a dog-friendly beach when seasonally available. We’ll always consider your dog’s personality, comfort level, and energy when planning activities. Our goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and right at home! Our home is a dog-loving, family-friendly environment with a large yard on a quiet private road, surrounded by woods and backing up to the Hannah Trails. There’s plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, and get some energy out! We have one very friendly, playful puppy (Lola) who loves having other dogs around, plus two young school-aged kids who are always happy to provide extra attention, entertainment, and cuddles. We especially enjoy welcoming dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. Our puppy has free rein of the house when we’re home and is crate-trained when we leave. For guest dogs, we’re happy to use a crate when we’re away if that’s what they’re accustomed to. If your dog isn’t crate-trained, that’s completely fine—we’re happy to work with their routine and make sure they’re comfortable and safe while we’re out. At night, we’ll follow whatever routine your dog is used to. They can sleep in a crate, in a designated area, or even in bed with us (& Lola) if that’s their normal routine. Our goal is to keep your dog’s experience as comfortable and familiar as possible while they’re staying with us!

“Another amazing stay! They took such great care of Oakley. We had such peace of mind while we were away and really appreciated the check ins and all the pictures that were sent our way. Can’t recommend them enough and am happy to have found a trusted sitter for our pup.”

“Freddi was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Edie! She sent great photos and updates during her stay. She clearly took great care of Edie, taking her on long walks on the beach every morning and being sensitive to her needs since she can be anxious in new places. We definitely would recommend Freddi and hope to have Edie stay again in the future!”

“Big thanks to Christian for watching Louis for the week when our family was out of the country. Leaving pets can be stressful but after meeting with Christian, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in his capable hands. We received pics/videos and updates through the week and I could see how much fun Louis was having (especially with the other house dog, lil Olivia!). Definitely will book with Christian again.”

About: I treat every animal exactly as if they were my own. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, my background is deeply rooted in animal welfare. Growing up in Maryland, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, interned with an equine veterinary clinic, and served as a volunteer and instructor in equine therapy. I came to Boston for college and have resided here ever since! I am still an avid equestrian today, and this lifelong dedication to animals has shaped my approach to pet care: I am incredibly detail-oriented, highly observant, and bring infinite patience to every animal's unique needs. I grew up surrounded by large dogs—including three wonderful Labradors—as well as multiple cats. Recently, my husband, Johnny, and I moved to Marblehead, where we share our home with our two sweet cats, Ozzy and Willis. What to Expect When You Book With Me: Constant Companionship: As a working professional in the consulting industry who is fully remote, my flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable supervision. I ensure your pets receive lots of daytime companionship and are never left alone for more than 4-5 hours a day. Tailored Attention: Family and friends have always relied on me for meticulous care. I make it a priority to learn everything about your pet's routine, quirks, and needs to ensure they are happy and safe. Professional & Insured: As an established, fully independently insured pet care professional, I am always happy to discuss flexible care and scheduling arrangements that work best for your family. Reliability & Safety: I have my own reliable vehicle, allowing for complete flexibility with visits and peace of mind in the unlikely event of an emergency. Meet & Greets: Finding the right match is important! I am always happy to schedule a virtual or in-person meet-and-greet to ensure we are a mutual fit. Please note: For house sitting, I currently accept booking requests a maximum of 3 months in advance. Thank you for understanding! I work fully remote from my home. For house sitting, I use your house as a homebase to make your pet feel comfortable and used to their normal routine. I am able to drop in, house sit, and walk your furry friend, feed and play with your dog or cat, and everything in between (and of course take many pictures!)
“I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Fae and Joseph, two incredible dog sitters I found on Rover! When we had to attend a funeral and needed someone to watch our dog for the day on a Saturday, I came across their profile and was immediately drawn in by the glowing reviews. I reached out, and they responded almost instantly to set up a time to discuss everything. From our very first conversation, I knew I had found the perfect caregivers for my three-year-old dog. Leading up to the appointment, Fae and Joseph kept me informed and reassured, which made me feel even more at ease about leaving my pup in their care. When I arrived at their home, Joseph greeted us with warmth and kindness. They had another friendly dog there, and I was impressed by how thoughtfully Joseph facilitated their introduction in a safe and welcoming manner. It was clear that they prioritize the well-being of all the dogs in their care. I requested updates throughout the day, and Joseph was more than happy to send me pictures and videos. My dog was clearly having a blast and was receiving top-notch care. After a day filled with fun and play, I picked him up and found him happily exhausted! I cannot recommend Fae and Joseph highly enough! If you're looking for trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitters, they are the perfect choice! Your pup will be in great hands with them!”

About: I love being surrounded by animals and have been around pets my entire life. For a long time now, I’ve been rescuing lost dogs and helping them find safe, loving homes. Currently, I have three dogs and a cat at my country house, as well as a 10-year-old senior dog at home. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I am at home all day.
“Lindsay was a great sitter for our dog Wellington. She provided pictures and updates regularly which made all the difference. We were traveling for 9 days out of the country and really appreciated her caring and thoughtful messages. It really was clear how much she cared for our dog and it was very much appreciated.”

“Lorraine took such good care of my pup for me! I felt like she was in a very loving home, and the photo and video updates were great. Lorraine was very responsive and kind. I would book her again :)”

“Fae and Joseph were great Rovers carers. I got daily updates and communication was excellent. Dogs are not walked but fenced yard is ample, spotlessly clean and their attention and love are all for the dogs. I will definitely use them again. Thanks guys!!”

“Phydeau stayed for two nights. He’s old and had much medical care involved in his stay including pills and ear care which was all attended to so well. He came home happy and well cared for. He loves going to Michael’s!”
“We just love Rebeca and her whole family! They all pitch in and take care of the dogs that stay with them and we have a VERY active dog so it is so good for her to have lots of people to play with while we’re away. :) I can tell Cici always has the best time with them and we don’t have to worry about her at all while on vacation. We got the most gorgeous pics of her to see all the fun walks she was taking and fun games she was playing with their daughter. And at the end of the stay their daughter gave her a little Halloween goody bag with the CUTEST note talking about her favorite moment of Cici’s stay with her. It’s just so sweet you can see how much they care about your dog when they are with them. Cici will for sure be back over and over again! 🥰”

“So grateful for how good they took care of our fur baby 🥹 Had some delays with our flight and they were so understanding! Igo is so adorable and I’m so happy Kai had a friend to play with!”

“Michelle was so great with our dogs! She was so accommodating about making sure thy felt at home and sent us cute pics and videos! We had never left them and would use her again!”

“Julia has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Scooby! Since the very first sitting, I’ve used her multiple times, and every experience has been consistently great. She is incredibly flexible, reliable, and you can truly tell how much she loves and cares for animals. She always keeps me updated with messages and photos, which gives me so much peace of mind. She goes above and beyond—gave him a bath, patiently tried trimming his nails (even though he’s not used to it), and even gifted him a bone, which was such a thoughtful touch. Scooby always comes back happy, clean, and well cared for. I’m so grateful to have found her—highly, highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely caring sitter!”

“Great sitter, and treats my dog Widget like family! Extremely communicative, and has a sense of humor about my dog's quirks. Her big yard means my dog has plenty of space to romp around. Since I live in the city, it must feel like a vacation for him, too!”
