“My aussie absolutely loves staying with Nicole —playing outside and inside, munching on bones, and spending time with the family. I always am fully confident she’s happy and getting the absolute best care!! 😊”

“Brooke took excellent care of my dog. When I picked her up from Brooke's house, she was relaxed and calm, not anxious and pulling like she usually is when I return from a trip. Leah really enjoyed her stay with Brooke and she came home tired and happy. I appreciated Brooke's notes and pictures while we were away. I would not hesitate to recommend her and would love to use her services again.”

“Karl did an amazing job with our Great Dane! Not a lot of people are up for caring for such a big dog, but Karl wasn’t intimidated. Our dog loved his stay and came home happy and healthy! Thank you, Karl!”

“Patti and her family took such great care of Luka while we were away. She got so much love and Luka was sad to leave when we came to pick her up. She will definitely miss the amazing yard! I know she will be very excited to go back when our family goes away again. Thank you Patti for loving our sweet girl and taking such good care of her.”

“Kathleen was an excellent Rover host - perhaps the best we've encountered! Kathleen honestly seemed to love our dog almost as much as we do, and send updates and pics throughout his stay. Most importantly, our dog seemed to have a great time, and was in a really good, relaxed mood when I picked him up.”

“They we're great with Ranger! I received updates and pictures each day about how Ranger was doing and any antics he was up to. Lots of walks were taken and i really appreciated the help and flexibility to work with my schedule. Ranger came home happy and tired from all his excitement!”

“I was very happy with this service. Mahayla was able to take Dougal onshort notice and was very accommodating to my schedule. I got daily videos that were much appreciated!!”

About: I have been the go to dog sitter for family, friends and coworkers for the last 15 years. I was finally able to adopt my very own pup a little over a year ago and have been obsessed with him ever since. We have a small fenced in backyard and live extremely close to the bike path and park! Lots of walks and exploring. I am looking to make pet care my full time career. I am aiming to be available daily for all types of care. Walking, daycare as well as overnight sleepovers! I have a small fenced in back yard and a cozy ranch style home. No stairs, for those pups who have a hard time getting around. I take daily morning walks with my guy around the park and have many other spots we visit on the weekends. Couches, beds, chairs, none of those are off limits. Your pet can be comfortable! If you want your pup to be spoiled, loved, and entertained while you are busy, look no further!

“I booked Rachel last minute fully expecting for her to not respond or say she was available and she responded within minutes for my last second request. She and her family took excellent care of Hank and sent me several pictures and updates through out. 10/10. Very happy to have found someone trust worthy i can leave my dog with and have no worries without feeling like i am burdening friends or family.”

“Christian responded quickly to our initial request & because we had a long drive he agreed to accommodate a 2 hour drop off window (we texted updates). He was friendly at drop off, happily engaged the dogs, asked good questions about their needs & sent photos as requested. At pick-up he offered details about their stay. Both dogs were happy to see us but seemed to have enjoyed their night with Christian. Would book again”

“Jess was great with our 2.5 year old German shepherd mix, Moose! She was super communicative and flexible, and sent photos and videos which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely book her again!”

“Happy and satisfied with Lataya quick response time and positive attitude given my last minute schedule changes. She is the best doggie MOM to my puppy Charlie! We bothare happy! 😌”

“Both of our dogs were calm and relaxed after a 4-day stay. James was attentive to all of their needs and was very kind. His roomates were a bonus, because someone was almost always around to hang out with our dogs! Thanks James, we will be back!”
“Tetiana was a wonderful and caring caregiver to our two rambunctious pups. She not only gave them much love and affection, she walked them many times and spoiled them with couch and bed time snuggles. She took pictures regularly throughout their stay and shared them with us. She is a top notch person and was very accommodating and delightful.”

“I booked sort of last minute and wasn't able to make a meet and greet happen (though Abigale kindly offered) and I felt totally comfortable dropping my Bernie off. I got plenty of updates while away and plan to use them again! Bernie was well cared for! And their home is lovely! Thank you!”

“Emily is amazing! She made friends with our standoffish scaredy-cat right away and has proved to be incredibly competent and responsive when we need her. We don't know what we would do without her!”

About: i consider myself a true cat person! I absolutely love cats and understand that each one has a unique personality. I have three cats of my own, including: • One who requires medication, so I’m comfortable and patient with administering care • One who is shy and takes time to warm up, so I know how to move slowly and build trust • One who is a friendly, social guy who loves attention Because of this, I’m very in tune with reading cat behavior and giving them exactly what they need, whether that’s playtime, affection, or simply respecting their space. As a teacher, I’m naturally responsible, organized, and detail-oriented, which means I follow instructions carefully and communicate clearly. You can expect consistent updates, reliability, and a calm, patient approach with your pets. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals. I take the time to build trust with each pet and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. I know they’re your family and I will treat them as my own.
“Lori is absolutely amazing - left for two weeks over the holidays, and came home to my cat Finn healthy and happy as ever! She was super accomodstkng and easy to work with, and always sent me the cutest photos. Will definitely be contacting Lori again if I’m traveling any time in the future.”

About: I’ve cared for cats in both professional kennel settings and in clients’ homes, giving me experience with felines of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’ve house sat for a cat with diabetes, managing daily care and keeping them comfortable and stress free. At my current kennel, I also work with cats who board with us, so I’m used to feeding routines, behavior monitoring, and keeping their spaces clean and cozy. From administering medication to scooping litter boxes and giving extra love to shy or senior cats, I make sure every feline friend feels safe, understood, and treated like family. Whether your cat needs calm companionship, structured care, or just someone who respects their unique personality, I’m here to keep them happy and at ease while you’re away.

About: I have my own kitty who I pamper with wet and dry food everyday, yummy jerky treats and she’s spoiled with toys galore. I trim and file her nails since I have a sofa but she’s such a sweet girl she knows not to!! Love felines, really the amount of times I’ve walked into the local Home Depot and got sucked into hours of sitting on the floor to interact with them is, well, everytime I go in there. I really have no difficulty with cats and their varying personalities.
About: I have been the proud dog dad of Franklin, a rescue 14 year old terrier mix, for over 9 years, who suffers from separation anxiety. More recently, I have cared for him through eye removal surgery as well as terminal joint and heart issues. As a result, I have experience giving oral, ocular and topical medications. I have this experience with other dogs as well, as I am always quick to volunteer for any opportunity to walk or babysit a friend or families dog - even going so far as to visit dogs rather than people at family weddings. I'm currently unemployed, so 100% of the time I'm not with my dog I can and want to spend taking care of your dog! Please check my schedule or reach out. First and foremost, I care for animals by showing them love and respect. When it comes to caring for your pet, I will conscientiously follow all instructions you provide and never put your pet in any danger.

“Matt stayed with our two cats and administered insulin to our oldest cat Mojo despite some challenges with Mojo being uncooperative. Matt was good at communicating any issues and seeking help. He cared for our house very well and left it clean and in good shape. I would recommend Matt.”
About: I have pet/house sat multiple times over the past several years for friends and family, and have worked with several types of animals from small critters like guinea pigs and ferrets, cats, and even large dog breeds. I also have 2 years experience volunteering for a local shelter in socialization and vet transport, 3 years experience working for a doggy daycare and boarding facility, and I currently work part time for another local animal shelter. I am an experienced owner of dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, guinea pigs, and more. I also have experience as a wedding dog handler, and would be happy to offer this service if requested so your furry companion can accompany you or someone you know on yours or their special day without any added stress, please let me know if this is something you'd be interested in! I currently work part time so I have lots of time to play with your pup, and hopefully can build savings towards a larger space to meet more people's needs! I am always looking to learn, grow, and provide better care for animals. Animal welfare is very important to me. At this point in time, due to the space I'm only able to accommodate smaller breeds that generally can get along with others. I do have a small fenced in yard, but I also have the bike trail and nearby hiking trails readily available, your dog will need to be on leash at all times when outside on walks/hikes, I do not provide "off-leash" trail experience as a safety precaution, thank you for your understanding! I am happy to provide pictures and updates of your pup whenever requested, please never be afraid to reach out!
“We hired Alexis to do some drop in visits for our cat while we were away for a week, and she was absolutely amazing. Our cat is diabetic and needs a shot twice a day. Alexis did an outstanding job sending us pictures and videos at each visit, as well as a thorough summary of how she was doing each day. Our cat is certainly not the most friendly, especially towards strangers, but Alexis managed to keep her comfortable and most importantly managed to administer her insulin even when she was constantly hiding from her and doing everything in her power to make Alexis's job harder. There is no question that next time we need someone to watch Copper we will be choosing Alexis again.”

“Leona was wonderful with Romeo - he was really calm and happy when I returned. She communicated well, sent updates with photos and left my home better than she found it. I’m booking her for another cat/housesit right now!”

About: Hi! I’m Maura, a high school English teacher who has lived and worked in the Berkshires for 19 years. I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds, and my goal is simple: to provide safe, personalized care so you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your pets. Now accepting bookings for my private pet guest house, Booked and Boarded! Unlike a traditional kennel, I board only one pet family at a time, allowing your pets to enjoy a calm, low-stress stay with individualized attention. The guest house opens directly into a fully fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for safe outdoor play while enjoying a cozy, home-like environment. The space is also designed with (indoor) cats in mind! Booked and Boarded is a perfect space for pets (and owners!) who want a quieter, more personal boarding experience. In addition to private boarding, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and small farm sitting throughout the Berkshires. Whether you need someone to check on a new puppy, care for a senior pet, or manage a small farm while you’re away, I’d love to help. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, rats, large aquariums, horses, cows, goats, and pigs. In addition to caring for my own animals, I have experience managing an equine boarding facility with 19 horses on the property and am comfortable handling a wide variety of animal personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I am experienced with: • Puppies and kittens • Senior pets • Oral medication administration • Basic trick training and potty training • High-energy dogs • Shy or anxious animals • Horses and livestock requiring daily care routines I also offer red light therapy sessions for pets, both small and large, upon request. When your pet stays with me at Booked and Boarded, you can expect plenty of communication. I send regular photos, videos, and updates throughout their chapter with me, and every boarding guest goes home with a personalized treat bag and a fun “report card” highlighting their time at Booked and Boarded. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave beloved pets behind when traveling. That’s why I prioritize communication, reliability, and individualized care so you can feel confident your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely enjoying themselves while you’re away. Whether you’re visiting the Berkshires for a weekend, heading out for a day of boating, skiing, or sightseeing, or leaving town for a longer trip, I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about services, availability, or your pet’s specific needs. I look forward to meeting you and your animals! Find Booked & Boarded on Facebook! I’m always running errands for my pets, spending time with my pets, or I’m at the barn with my horse. Taking care of the needs of my own pets is one of my top priorities, and I can easily work your furry friend into my schedule! It’s important that we discuss your specific expectations and needs as a pet owner/parent to ensure that you get the best care! Every pet owner and pet is different and I want to tailor my approach to what your pet is used to and comfortable with.

About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.

In my care at anytime, I will use provided equipment for transportation. Your pet safety is number one.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life other than when I was a student, so you’re getting experience above all else. Even if they just need company for an hour, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

“Bruno had a wonderful time at Kathleen's beautiful place! The fully-fenced in green space for the dogs was so peaceful I wanted to stay myself. Kathleen has a calming manner which the dogs respond well too. I am contemplating more trips to the Berkshires now that I know Bruno has a safe place where he will be happy and well taken care of while I spend time at Jacob's Pillow or museums. Thank you!”

“Nicole was amazing!!! Our timing had to change last minute, and she was so accommodating. My dogs were so comfortable with her and she was so kind!!! 10/10 for someone to leave my dogs with. Thank you!!!”

During that time, I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and personality. From shy seniors who need gentle patience to high energy wiggle butts who never slow down. Whether your dog needs a simple walk, extra patience, medication support, or someone who treats them like family, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved one walk, one wag, one kiss at a time. I just graduated from college and I’m working hard to save for my first home! This means I’m going to spend my days doing something I genuinely love, which is caring for pups. My schedule is flexible and I’m available almost every day of the week. I offer plenty of walking and drop‑in options throughout the week, and I’m always happy to work with you to find times that fit your dog’s routine. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. Availability: • Most weekdays: mornings, evenings, and some mid‑day slots depending on my kennel shifts • Weekends: flexible around my kennel shifts • Nearly every day available with advance request! Now that school is behind me, I’m able to take on more walks, drop‑ins, and extended care. I love what I do, and I’m committed to giving your pets reliable, loving, stress free care every single visit. <3 When I’m caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal, comforting, and stress‑free as possible. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. Here’s what you can expect: Routine‑Focused Care: I stick to your pet’s usual feeding, walking, play, and medication schedule so everything feels familiar and calm. Clear Instructions Welcomed: Written instructions, whether on paper or by text, are always helpful. I’m happy to follow detailed routines, special notes, or anything that keeps your pet comfortable. Open Communication: I keep communication easy and consistent. If anything comes up or you’d like updates, I’m always reachable and responsive. Photos Included: I send pictures and check ins so you can see how your furry family member is doing and feel connected while you’re away. Walks & Outdoor Time: I tailor every walk to what your dog enjoys, whether it’s relaxed neighborhood strolls, peaceful nature walks, or extra sniff‑time to burn off energy. Medication & Special Care: In my personal and professional experience, I am very comfortable with pets (cats or dogs!) who have medical conditions, including administering medications safely and on time (even insulin). Clean & Comfortable Spaces: I keep litter boxes clean, fluff up dog beds, refresh water bowls, tidy feeding areas, and make sure your pet’s space stays cozy and stress‑free. Behavior Awareness: With my kennel background, I’m trained to read body language and keep pets comfortable, especially shy, senior, or anxious animals. My goal is simple to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved until you’re home again.

About: ive had a couple of dogs growing up in my childhood, a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo..! id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside keeping me company! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, but I have an electric scooter thanks to a helpful couple I babysat for! drop off would be ideal, if youre close enough to walk to i can do that too! my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!

About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.

“Irene has been such a great find in the Berkshires! She always gives helpful communication with each stay, and Ruby seems to love her time with Irene (and her sweet dog Goldie). Thanks for all of the care that you give to Ruby - we'll see you soon!”

Thank you!”

“My dog had a wonderful day with Manolita!! She’s so kind and caring and made us both feel comfortable! When I picked him up from his stay he was very comfortable and calm, which was a great sign! She also sent pictures and updates throughout the day, which I loved! I highly recommend her!”

“Emily was so wonderful! She made our drop off and pick-up easy, as we had a very early flight to catch. Our dog Petey stayed with her for 5 nights without any issues and she even sent us picture updates while we were away. I recommend Emily to anyone looking for a caring and accommodating person to take care of their beloved Pet.”

“Staying with Megan was awesome, as always! I know I can always trust her with my “baby boy!” He plays with her dogs and follows her around - just like he does with me. I know he loves it there and I am grateful he is in good hands with Miss Megan.”

“Ericca is a very thorough and caring dog sitter. She was generous enough to take my dog, Maia, last minute for an overnight. She made sure she had all the info she needed for a senior dog. Maia was well cared for and reported to me that she had a great stay!”
