“Matt and Jennifer were wonderful with our 3 year old dog, Ori. This was the first time boarding our dog outside of our own home, and with anyone outside of our extended family. We were a little nervous about boarding, as our dog wasn't especially socialized with other dogs. But Matt and Jennifer were very sensitive to this, and allowed us do a day visit where we left Ori with them for a few hours. They shared regular pictures and text updates to show us that Ori was doing fine, having a good time walking and hanging with them and the other dogs they were sitting. We ended up boarding Ori with them for 8 days, and it went great. Ori became "one of the pack", doing group walks with Matt and Jennifer's dog and the other dogs they were watching. We saw that she was getting snuggles and downtime with their daughter. We picked Ori up after her stay where it was clear she had a great week, with lots of outdoor play and exercise, and nice family time indoors. Thank you Matt and Jennifer- we will happily ask you to watch Ori again for us! :)”

Usually Cosmo prefers staying in his crate while boarding, but with Jamie’s family he became so relaxed that he preferred their bed instead, which truly showed how safe and loved he felt there. Jamie also kept us updated regularly, giving us so much peace of mind. This is honestly the fastest I’ve ever seen Cosmo warm up to a family, and we’re definitely looking forward to many more stays. About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I can’t wait to give them the care they deserve while you’re away. I am a mom of two young children and currently at home with them and our rescue dog. I said goodbye to my senior golden last year and have missed having that extra companion. About: We have a large, very clean, and safe home with a big backyard. There are plenty of trails and sidewalks for walking around our house as well as a variety of parks nearby we can visit. I stay at home and will be available all day to supervise care for your dog(s). My three teenage kids will help provide care and are very responsible, loving, and diligent caretakers. Our own 2 small (4 lb) chihuahuas, Mocha & Lacey, are used to having other dogs around. When your dog(s) stay with us, you can be sure that they will be well loved, safe, and welcomed into the family as one of our own! About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

I am free on the weekends for taking in pets for overnights or going to your home to visit, walks, play and feeding pets. I have a section at my home that is fenced in or I walk dogs on the leash. I walk often and make sure to stick to schedules and feeding routines. I have so much love for animals and love nothing more than caring for them.

“Matt and Jennifer were wonderful with our 3 year old dog, Ori. This was the first time boarding our dog outside of our own home, and with anyone outside of our extended family. We were a little nervous about boarding, as our dog wasn't especially socialized with other dogs. But Matt and Jennifer were very sensitive to this, and allowed us do a day visit where we left Ori with them for a few hours. They shared regular pictures and text updates to show us that Ori was doing fine, having a good time walking and hanging with them and the other dogs they were sitting. We ended up boarding Ori with them for 8 days, and it went great. Ori became "one of the pack", doing group walks with Matt and Jennifer's dog and the other dogs they were watching. We saw that she was getting snuggles and downtime with their daughter. We picked Ori up after her stay where it was clear she had a great week, with lots of outdoor play and exercise, and nice family time indoors. Thank you Matt and Jennifer- we will happily ask you to watch Ori again for us! :)”

Going away used to be so hard for me because I hated leaving my two BFFs behind. Now, as much as they are still my life, I can walk away feeling completely at ease knowing they’re happy, loved, and in the very best hands. There’s no worrying or feeling guilty - they’re too busy having their own little vacation with Jess and her family! Also, I can always tell when I pick them up that they’ve had a great time. They come home happy, relaxed, and completely themselves — which, to me, says it all! We feel incredibly lucky to have found Jess and her loving family to care for our fur babies. Nothing is better than going on vacation, guilt-free, knowing your little buddies are away having fun, too! While away, peace of mind means everything to me, which is one of the many reasons why I so highly recommend Jess.”
