I would absolutely have her take care of my little ones any day!”

They sent us lots of updates and photos every day, which made us feel connected and reassured while we were away. Bruno looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for in every picture—and he seemed to have a really good time during his stay. We’re so grateful for the love and attention they gave him and would absolutely book with them again!”

“Ozzi had a great time with their family. We loved to see the pictures of all the snuggling. Highly recommend them and Ozzi is looking forward to his next visit!”

“Kira and family are the only people who have watched our dog overnight since we got her 2 years ago. We have left her probably 5 times and have never had an issue. They are thoughtful and communicative. We are grateful and don’t take for granted that our pup has a safe and happy home away from home.”

“Longfei and Luning did such an amazing job taking care of my active and very large Cupcake. About: I’ve had cats since I was 8 years old. With the 16 years of experience with cats, I believe that you can tell a lot about a person by their cats personality. Like with every pet parent, I strive for the best with my cat. If you choose me to watch your cat, I will provide the best and safest environment for them. Do they need a room to themselves? You got it. Has explosive diarrhea? I have cleaning supplies. Medical issues? Another way to keep me on my toes. I hope you consider me as a prospective aunt to your kitter cat and can’t wait to fill up my camera role with adorable pictures. I look forward to hearing from you 💕

“Stephanie is caring and attentive as ever and is now best friends with our demanding kitty. He was pampered with brushing and play time. She is a great sitter and our kitty is lucky to have to Stephanie take care of him.”

“My cat is skittish and Kathleen had her eating from the palm of her hand. Literally! She was so patient and understanding of my cat’s weird little quirks. I would definitely recommend Kathleen to any pet owners out there. You can trust your pet with her.”

“Kristina was punctual, communicated very well and took great care of our cats. This was our first time using Kristina‘s services. On a personal level, I found her to be very pleasant and friendly. She had no problem following any direction and everything went very well. The cats tend to hide when sitters come over so they didn’t have interaction, but their needs were very well taken care of and I would absolutely hire Kristina again!”

“After having a ton of sitters, Olivia is by far the best! She gives such minute detail in her report, and not only fulfillls duties of feline daily living like giving food, water, and cleaning his litter, to the full extent that is requested, she also notices behavioral changes in our pets. I cant reccomend her any more than I do now! She is awesome. I had quite a complex situation to get into my building, and I had the further pressure of having to leave almost immediately, but Olivia was able to help through all that.”

“Yick-hong was great with my cats! They were reliable and attentive and would absolutely recommend. I received daily updates and plenty of photos to keep my mind at ease while I was away. I will likely be working with Yick-hong again in the future!”

“Anna was absolutely wonderful in taking care of our two kitties. She also was kind enough to bring in any packages on our porch. I really appreciated the photos and updates along the way. We'll definitely turn to Anna for our future trips :) Thank you so much!!!”

“Sandra was loving with my cats and generous with her time! She went above and beyond caring and playing with them during the visits. My cats warmed up to her and I definitely recommend her to care for your pets!”

“Alana was awesome! She was communicative and my cat really liked her. She made holiday travel less stressful because I knew Owen was being taken good care of. Would highly recommend!”

“Alison treated our cat very well while we were away. She was able to give him his medicine with no issues and sent us lots of photos of them playing. Our cat can be a bit feisty, so it was great to see her manage him so well.”

“Royce was absolutely exceptional! Our cats, Mo and Kip, absolutely loved her and she was able to quickly make our very shy cat, Mo, feel comfortable. She was also very responsive, sent great updates and photos and was flexible to come for an additional visit when our flight got cancelled. We would definitely recommend using Royce for your next week/weekend away!”

“Geoffrey was great! He visited our cat Leo for ten days and took great care of him. I appreciated his concerns when he felt something was wrong, and his daily updates and photos. Next time we are away we will definitely be reaching out to Geoffrey again.”

“I’ve known Junho and his adorable dog Boki since Boki was just a tiny three-month-old puppy, back when we first met in our apartment building. Over the years, I’ve seen how much care Junho gives to Boki, and how gentle and kind he is with other dogs he meets on their walks. When Junho started Rover, I knew right away that I could trust him with T-Rex. My dog requires extra care and attention due to specific conditions, and Junho followed all of my instructions thoroughly. He even sent me multiple photos and updates without me having to ask, which gave me so much peace of mind. If you’re looking for a sitter, I highly recommend Junho. He’s easy to work with, and his wonderful dog Boki will make a great companion for yours. Boki is super friendly and loves to play, but also knows how to give space if another dog isn’t in the mood.”

“It was a simple partial-day visit but our dogs seemed happy and relaxed when we picked them up. It was our first time using a dog sitter and we appreciated that Ismael sent great pictures of them interacting with the other dogs so that we wouldn't worry. We now feel comfortable with the 4-day stay we've arranged for next weekend, which will be our first overnight stay.”

“We are so happy we found Jenny! Our dog Uli loves going to her house. Jenny takes such good care of him, sends us lots of pictures and videos and treats him like her own. We would absolutely recommend Jenny to anyone!”

About: I have a 3 year pup named Bowie and I grew up with dogs my whole life. I will love and spoil your furbaby as if they were my own. NOTE: my profile says I have 2 dogs but I only have 1. I watch my Mom’s dog a lot so I have her under my account as a customer of the services :) I’m currently out of work so I have an open schedule to focus on your pup. Bowie would love a playmate to zoom around with! I have a big complex and a little gated dog run on-site. I also have a big deck I gate off during the warmer months for patrolling. I have a 6 foot lead for extra security if needed. Bowie roams around the deck and takes in the sun or says hello to fellow friends when they walk by on the mini trails.
About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was in preschool. They’re my favorite furry buddies in the whole world! I have experience caring for my dogs, not only providing them love but attention as well. One of my dogs had diabetes and needed daily insulin shots and to be let outside regularly. My care of him gave me some additional caretaker skills! I have a dog right now and I have to look after her daily. Whether it’s feeding her, giving her kisses, or taking her for a walk, my day consists of providing attention for my pet! I am always vigilant when it comes to my pet. I watch my dog and pay attention to her cues, making sure that all of her needs are met. I also closely watch out for other dogs and their interaction with mine. By having a dog, I’ve been able to read body language really well, which allows me to remove my pet from a potentially dangerous situation.
“Cardinal had so much fun at his small-dog play date!! I appreciated that Betsy took time for a thoughtful meet and greet so that I was sure he would feel comfortable! I was very happy that he could enjoy time outside of his crate with other dogs in a warm and caring environment! Will definitely book again!!”

“Michelle was amazing with my dog. She sent lots of updates, has tons of treats and toys at her place and clearly took very good care of my pup.”

“Daisy had a great day with Stef! Stef met with us in advance to meet Daisy and learn about her daily routine and requirements. She made it very easy to drop Daisy off and pick her up and also sent a few pictures during the day. Stef took her out for three walks, one of them was a car ride away from Stef's home which was an adventure for Daisy. It was almost hard to get Daisy into the car as she didn't want to leave. Daisy was so tired that night and into the next day, but was very happy. We are looking forward to having Stef take care of her again!”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - North Waltham
Prices are estimates per walk for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: Dog care is our full time life! We offer small scale, adventure filled boarding and group adventure hikes, with lots of exercise, enrichment and individual attention. Our 60-minute walk option is a trail/park hike with a small group of compatible dog friends🌲🐾 We love petsitting with lots of individual attention, exercise, enrichment, cuddles, and companionship. We typically care for only 1 or 2 client dogs at a time, so your pup really becomes part of our little family while they’re here. Stephanie is home full time, and Ledan works professionally as a dog hiker, so your dog will spend most of their stay with us, whether we’re cuddling at home, hiking at Cat Rock Park or the Fells, swimming, exploring a new trail, or heading out on a dog friendly adventure. Our specialty is definitely pups who want their own vacation while you’re on yours. 🌳 🐾 Luca and Linnie are our two resident 3yo and 2yo Golden Retrievers, who LOVE having friends over. Luca is our little trail master and social butterfly. He’s even helped previously shy or less-socialized dogs come out of their shells and discover how much fun playing with friends can be. We especially specialize in active dogs, larger breeds, and energetic puppies, but every stay is tailored to the individual dog. Some pups want to hike through the woods and cannonball into every pond they see, and some would much rather snooze in our bed. We enthusiastically support both lifestyles, not mutually exclusive! 🤣 At home, pups have free access to our bed and couch and are treated like family. We also love doing little enrichment and training sessions using things we’ve learned through classes with Luca, and we’re happy to keep up with your dog’s routines, including brushing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, paw care, medications, or other special accommodations. You’ll also get lots of photos and updates along the way, perhaps receiving photographic evidence that your dog has stolen our bed after a long adventure 😴 We have experience with puppies, seniors, special-needs dogs, and oral and injected medications. Pickup and drop-off can also be arranged within about 30 minutes of Waltham. Tell us about your pup, their personality, and what their dream vacation looks like!! 💛 Stephanie is home full time, while Ledan works part time professionally hiking groups of dogs. Pet care is a huge part of our everyday life! Between the two of us, someone is home with the pups most of the time, and our schedule is very flexible around their needs. When Ledan heads out for dog hikes, our boarding pups can often join the adventure when appropriate for them! We want your dog to feel like our home is their home. Pups are welcome on our couch and bed and have plenty of space to play, cuddle, or find a cozy place to rest. We supervise our dogs closely, provide potty breaks as often as needed, and follow each pup’s normal feeding, medication, sleep, and care routines. Because we keep our boarding group small, we’re able to give each dog lots of individual attention and adjust their stay around their personality and needs.

About: Hi, my name is Meghan! I have loved animals my entire life and have always been the person who stops to say hello to every dog, cat, and animal I meet (while always respecting their boundaries). My love for animals started as a child when I spent my school years reading every animal book I could find and watching every animal movie and documentary I could. That lifelong passion has grown into a career caring for pets and learning what makes each animal unique. I have over 4 years of professional animal care experience, beginning in dog daycare in 2022 and currently working as a Veterinary Assistant in an emergency veterinary setting. Through my experience, I have cared for dogs and cats of many ages, breeds, personalities, and needs from playful puppies and kittens to adult pets and senior companions. At home, I care for my own pets, including Thor, my 12 year old Chihuahua mix, Xena, my 8 year old Lab/Hound mix, and Sage, my 11 year old cat. Caring for my own pets has taught me the importance of patience, routine, understanding body language, and recognizing that every animal communicates differently. My experience includes: • Puppy, kitten, adult, and senior pet care • Medication administration (oral medications, eye drops, and injections) • Diabetic pet care and pets with medical needs • Understanding animal body language and stress signals • Providing enrichment, playtime, exercise, and individualized attention • Helping pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment I understand that pets are family, and leaving them with someone new can feel stressful. My goal is to give you peace of mind by treating your pets with the same love, patience, and care I give my own. Every pet has their own personality, routine, likes, dislikes, and comfort level. I take the time to learn what makes your pet happy and what helps them feel secure. You can expect clear communication, updates, and plenty of photos so you always know how your pet is doing while you are away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, or simply relaxing in their favorite spot, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they are with me. I am currently an online student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. Whether I'm providing drop in visits, dog walks, or house sitting, I make it a priority to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. I always make sure pets receive the attention, exercise, companionship, and care they need while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special instructions before every booking. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and exercise routines carefully while respecting your home and your pet's space. With my professional experience in dog daycare and as a Veterinary Assistant, I understand animal body language and recognize signs of stress or discomfort. I use positive, patient handling and never force interactions, allowing pets to become comfortable at their own pace. You can also expect regular updates and plenty of photos throughout each visit or stay, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays when I am off. I live in first floor in a big apartment. So taking care of pets in my home is not an issue. The Waltham Common is near so we can walk in nature freely.
“Kathleen has looked after my 3 dogs with 3 distinct personalities and provided daily updates and pictures. She truly gets to know each dog and I feel so comforted knowing they are in her care!”

About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. I'm a college student, so I fit bookings around my classes and workload. My classes start at 8 am on weekdays, so my general availability is as follows: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Available after 11:30 am Tuesday: Available after 6 pm Thursday: Heavier on classes, but I may be able to do a quick drop-in in the morning/evening if needed Weekends: Unavailable 8-10 am Saturdays, otherwise available As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).
