About: I have a 3 year pup named Bowie and I grew up with dogs my whole life. I will love and spoil your furbaby as if they were my own. NOTE: my profile says I have 2 dogs but I only have 1. I watch my Mom’s dog a lot so I have her under my account as a customer of the services :) I’m currently out of work so I have an open schedule to focus on your pup. Bowie would love a playmate to zoom around with! I have a big complex and a little gated dog run on-site. I also have a big deck I gate off during the warmer months for patrolling. About: I have had dogs almost my entire life. I have been pet sitting on dog vacay and rover for the last several years , before my dog Dora passed away two years when she was 14 years of age. I stopped pet sitting , and was grieving for a while. I am now ready to get back to dog sitting , and want to experience joy of pets again, even if on a temporary basis. I have two children , 8 and 4, and they have been exposed to dogs and cats until recently . We want to have a chance to play with doggies again, and love them! About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).

I’m reliable, active, and will treat your pup like my own! I have lots of availability over the next month before I start work, so I’m able to be pretty flexible with walks and drop-in visits! I’d love to fill my extra time with some furry friends and can work around your pup’s usual schedule and routine. Your pup’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! I’ll follow any instructions you leave for me, make sure they’re secure when coming and going, and give them lots of attention, playtime, and love.

“Guillermo did a fantastic job with my dog, Kiara. She gets nervous around new people, so it’s always tough for me to leave her. I booked an overnight stay with Guillermo to see if they’d be a good fit, and it went perfectly. As soon as I arrived, I felt comfortable. Guillermo showed me around the house so I could see where Kiara would stay, which put me at ease. Kiara quickly warmed up to him and didn’t seem upset when I left. During the day, Guillermo sent thoughtful updates and photos, which really helped me relax. When I came back to pick up Kiara, she was happy to see me. She gave me a few kisses and then settled on the couch like she was at home. I really appreciated Guillermo’s care, communication, and the calm, friendly atmosphere he created.
