“Zuzana was the perfect pet sitter for our miniature poodle, Charly. She communicated quickly and from the very beginning provided a welcoming environment for Charly. Thanks to the photos and videos she sent, we were able to rest assured Charly was in good hands. We hope Zuzana will be available the next time we look for a sitter. Thanks!”

“My German shepherd Justin had a great stay with Karen. We appreciated the flexibility and communication around his stay. Double check whether there will be other dogs there, as the host was listed as not having dogs, but there were a family member’s two small dogs at the house when I dropped him off.”

“Michelle was one of the best dog sitters that we have ever used. She created a calm and peaceful atmosphere for our usually nervous dog. As a matter fact, our Dog Winnie would have stayed longer with Michelle and had a good time. Michelle gets a 10 star recommendation from us! As a matter fact, we are going back to the Cape at the end of May, and we’ve already rebooked with Michelle.”

“Andrea and Bob did an excellent job of caring for my old dear dog. They treated her gently and with respect, and when I picked up my dog, I could tell by her tail wagging she was happy to see me yet happy to be there. I highly recommend Andrea and Bob, especially if your dog is old. Their experience in caring for senior dogs is clearly evident.”

“Caitlin was nothing short of wonderful putting puppy parents at ease when we had to leave our 13 week old lab for 12 days. From the very beginning she was ready and willing to do anything to make me feel comfortable enough to leave her. Constant and quick communication put my mind to rest. Pictures and videos everyday so we could see our girl. I will not hesitate to book her again when we go away or need a dog sitter. Id give more than 5 stars if i could.”

“Duck and Daffy loved their time at Julie’s! We’re so thankful to have found a reliable place on the Cape for them and will definitely have them stay with Julie again!”

“Kellie is WONDERFUL! She took a chance on Mollie, our 3-year-old rescue Sheepadoodle, who would be staying in a new place for the first time without her older "sister" and guiding star, Sophy. We were worried Mollie's quirks would prove too much, but Kellie and her family proved us wrong. They believed in her, reinforced her confidence, and provided a loving temporary home. She thrived in their household the week we were away, and we still see the effects of her new-found confidence. We can't thank Kellie enough!”

“Caitlin was great. She was friendly, accommodating, has a great place, and most importantly, she took good care of our dog Abbie. I can absolutely recommend her.”

“Chelsea took care of my newly-adopted Mini Aussie Shepherd, who is always on "turbocharge." I came back to a very happy dog! I found Chelsea to be honest and simply a joy to work with. I will definitely trust her with my dog again anytime!”

“Stephen took extra sweet care of my bulldog Stella. Fantastic and frequent communicator, I truly appreciate the updates and pictures of Stella throughout her stay. 100% would recommend Stephen and consider for future Cape boarding needs!”

“Harriet was wonderful - very communicative, sent lots of cute pics and videos. Our dog adored playing with Harriet's other dogs and was reluctant to leave them at the end of her stay. We hope to board Eliza here again for another charmed doggie holiday in Truro!”

“Clare is absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond in every way and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear she genuinely cares about the animals in her charge, and we came home to one very happy pup. We will 100% be booking with Clare again and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.”

“Madaket welcomed our dog (cavapoo) in and everything went extremely smoothly. She kept him as her own and we had a happy dog waiting for us after at the end of a week's vacation. Communication was very easy and we enjoyed some pics occasionally. No negative comments, I recommend Madaket for taking care of your dog!”

“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

“Christian was absolutely fantastic taking care of Aspen! We were away in France and had no worries about our pet because we were constantly updated with messages, photos, and check ins about Aspen's status. This is very reassuring as an owner. I have bookmarked Christian's name on Rover for our next vacation!”

“Rocco was so loved and had amazing adventures with Rowan and family. The communication and photos were on point. We weee completely at ease knowing our dog was loved as much by them as we love him!”

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
“Alyne was great!! Our dog Mac had a great time. She was extremely responsive and very attentive to details. She sent updates and pics. Her dog Bruce is so sweet and played very well with our young and energetic lab. Would highly recommend!”

“Emily was fabulous! Super responsive, provided pictures, and noticed my cat’s allergies acting up. She even bought her a toy! I will definitely be requesting her again.”

“We are so thankful to have found Chris! He booked him for a second trip and will be happy to do it again. Chris left the pet and our house in better shape than we left and even helped to replace the battery on a beeping smoke alarm while we were gone. Above and beyond! Thanks!”

About: I have been working with animals for many years. I have done lots of overnight pet sitting, walking, and dealing with medical needs. I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. I have experience in giving medications, dealing with dogs with different temperaments, and dog training. I am currently in school during the mornings, but am free all afternoons to play with your pups! I am available for overnights and fully available on weekends! I currently have one dog. I do have a large fenced in yard which provides a great space for animals to run around and play in. I live in a super clean household that does not have any hazards towards animals. My dog is part of the family and is allowed on all furniture as well as beds.
“Christian did a fantastic job taking care of our 14 year old cat, Ludde. Ludde is on medicated diet and had just arrived back to the Cape after some long air plane rides. I was worried leaving him, but Christian put me at ease right away, took great care of Ludde and sent us plenty of photos and pictures. It was a relief to find such a competent and caring pet sitter.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, always having one in my family and watching family and friends dogs. I spent my quarantine taking care of my very hyper and energetic puppy. I also care for family and friends dogs when they go out of town or need me too. I’m currently enrolled at UMass Amherst, where I am currently a Senior. I typically use time between or after classes for pet care and take advantage of the weekends. As an active individual, I would be able to take your dog out whenever they need to, as well as having a large backyard for them to play.

“Skyla did great with our three cats. Typically our cat Hades can be shy around new people. However, he walked up to Skyla right away. She made our cats feel very comfortable and safe. She also sent pictures so we could see how they were doing.”

About: I've taken care of and owned cats for many years. Both indoor and outdoor and know how sweet and cute or aloof and finicky they can be. My current (indoor/outdoor) cat Boris has challenged me the most with his endless curiosity, boundless energy, voracious hunting nature and when it's time to cuddle and time to back off. I love the challenges and playfulness of these creatures.
“Laurie clearly has a love for animals. She made contact every day with pictures. She let us know about an issue with heating. The cat boxes and floor areas were clean when we returned. Food and water were left according to instructions. We would happily hire Laurie again to care for our two cats.”

About: I’ve grown up with cats my entire life and have experience caring for them in every stage—from raising a litter of newborn kittens to supporting senior cats and keeping them comfortable. I understand that every cat has their own personality and I always provide gentle, patient, and loving care.
“We were New to the neighborhood and in need of a Petsitter . Alexa came to meet us and our cat Sophie and has cared for her on 2 occasions. We will definitely book her as a sitter again. She has been prompt, and always responds quickly, sends pictures and takes time to pet our spoiled kitty. Thank you Alexa!”

About: We’ve had cats in my family since I was a baby. I currently have a 14 year old cat, Anya, who has IBD and gets various medications throughout the day, so I am comfortable with shots and oral medication. I have also been cat sitting for neighbors for several years. I love building relationships with the cats, earning their trust, and sending glamor shots to their people!
“I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Caitlin. I needed a last-minute drop in as our plans had suddenly changed and I’m so happy we chose Caitlin. She was responsive, flexible, prompt, and catered to about 14 special requests. She kept us updated during her entire stay and sent ADORABLE pictures and videos. If you’re looking for a responsible, kind, dog-loving person to help you out, look no further! Our dogs LOVED her, too!”

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.
“Caitlin was very responsive to any of our concerns leaving a 6 month old puppy and her big sister! Lots of pictures, updates and incredibly flexible. Thank you Caitlin”

“Our little pup had such a fun day! Loved seeing pictures and a video of him playing with his new friends. He was exhausted when he got home. Ate dinner and curled up to sleep. It was a good day! So appreciative of the wonderful care and will definitely be back! 🐾😊🤍”

“Kellie was the perfect daycare sitter for Coco on a Friday afternoon! Cannot thank her and her family enough for being available and so loving to my dog. She had a great time and loved hanging out!”

“My dog, Kiwi, had a fabulous visit with Andrea and Bob! They were extremely communicative and accommodating before our visit. They took care to learn Kiwi’s quirks, likes, and dislikes (she has a big personality, so there are a lot!). They even had toys and balls at their house for her to play with. It’s clear that they are experienced and intuitive dog caretakers, which is so important to me as a nervous dog mom. When I went to pick her up, Kiwi was all smiles and happy body language…I know she had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Andrea and Bob.”

“William and his wife were amazing! They have a great indoor and outdoor space to manage the dogs in their care, including a split fenced in yard to separate dogs. I knew my dog would be in good hands and would definitely leave her in their care again.”

“What a find Chelsea is! We visit the Cape often and feel terrible leaving our dog in the house when we go to the beach. We brought Digby to Chelsea yesterday and I felt entirely comfortable leaving him there. Her fenced yard has a real chain link strong fence on a dead end street. She handles him well and he took right to her. So far so good. We have already rebooked.”
“Glenn and Kirsten were wonderful with our dog and super responsive with a last minute request for day care after our outside dog boarding plans on cape cod fell through. She had a great day, would recommend to anyone!”

“Michele took good care of our senior dog so we could be tourists in Chatham for the day! She’s got a great fenced in and grassy back yard and even took notes for our dogs special needs.”

About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.
“We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

“I booked Stephen the same day 1 hour before booking. He was very generous and took amazing care of my Poppy. He also kept me updated with texts and pictures. Poppy was very happy. I highly recommend and will definitely book again when I’m in the area.”

“So thankful for Helena and her cat! My lil guy Guinness had a wonderful day playing and walking and fetching. Happy to be dropped off, happy after I picked him up. Thank you Helena!! Will hit you up next time I’m on the cape with Guinness for sure.”

About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet & greet—we’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we both work from home full-time. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.

“While visiting Orleans on vacation, Marie walked my dog two afternoons. She took the time to meet with me and my dog a day before the walks. She took my dog for nice long walks and made sure she had food and water after the walks.”

“We were in need for a very last minute responsible, caring person to provide drop in and walks for our two dogs. Kellie responded immediately and based on your prompt response, communication and rave reviews, we hired her. She was responsive to my questions, very attentive to our two dogs and took extra special care of them due to the extreme heat. She sent pictures and comments and updated us frequently. Kellie is kind, attentive and an excellent caregiver. We will definitely be using Kellie’s services again and we strongly encourage you to as well!”

About: A lifelong lover of animals of all kinds, I recently moved to the Cape with my 14 year old cat, Anya. I’ve had cats on and off my whole life, and for eleven wonderful years shared my life with a rabbit named Fiona. I have experience caring for special needs (Anya has IBD and Fiona was blind in her later years) and administering medications. I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and am also a volunteer at a wildlife rescue where I help care for raptors, turtles, snakes, and an absolute queen of a porcupine. While I love dogs, I have less experience with them, so would be better fitted to smaller and/or calmer canines while I get some more experience under my belt. As an overprotective cat mom, I can assure you that I will care for your fur children as if they were my own, will follow your instructions to the letter, and will stay in communication with you so that you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your little ones. I’ve recently moved to the Cape and currently have lots of availability. I can currently not offer overnights, as I have my own fur child to care for, but would love to come for extended visits or walks! I will follow your instructions meticulously. I am used to caring for injured birds, so am extremely conscientious about making sure animals stay safe in their homes and on the leash.

Do they love running and playing? I’m game! They want love and reassurance- we all do sometimes! I’m currently between jobs so I have the flexibility to build the life I want! Which includes lots of dog walks. I love to get out there during the day so if you need morning or daytime walks..I’m your girl. I respect client’s homes and always leave it better than I found it. I make sure the maintain the same structure as usual in terms of meal and potty habits and house rules.

About: With a deep passion for animals and years of hands-on experience, I bring a level of care and understanding that goes beyond the basics. I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter for over two years, where I gained experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—including those who needed extra patience and love. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, build trust, and handle all kinds of situations calmly and confidently. I’m also entering my third year working at a dog daycare, where I manage group play sessions, monitor behavior, and ensure each dog is safe, engaged, and happy throughout the day. I’ve worked with puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable tailoring care to meet each dog's unique needs. What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every dog like my own—whether we’re going for a walk, spending the night, or just sharing a moment of calm. You can trust that your dog will not only be cared for but genuinely loved. I currently work at a dog daycare everyday other than Wednesday 8 AM to 5 PM, I have a lunch break from 12 PM to 2 PM, and I’m happy to do quick drop-ins or walks during that time if you’re nearby. I'm fully available on weekends and Wednesdays for dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight stays. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, a weekend buddy, or some loving company while you're away, I’m here to help! Whether your dog is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, their comfort and well-being come first. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routines, and needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I will treat your home and your pup with complete respect. I follow all your instructions closely, from feeding to medication to where your dog likes to nap. I keep things tidy and make sure your dog feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing.
About: I grew up with golden retrievers but have cared for and spent time with dogs of many breeds and sizes. Building trust and showing love is the name of the game. I work part time and enjoy being active outside so there’s nothing like enjoying the outdoors walking and playing with a dog. I know how important a good long and fun walk or just a nice long visit is especially when a dog is missing his/her loved ones. Safety is my main priority and I’m always aware of other animals, obstacles and the environment. I double check everything. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness is my priority.
“We hired Laurie to bale us out when we were in a situation, one with a broken leg the other with the darn upper respiratory virus. She was great. Very take charge, warm and friendly and our dog loved her. She gave good feedback about her walks and even helped catch our little sneak when she escaped our yard before her walk. I highlyrecommend Laurie!”

“Jackie was wonderful: on time, very sweet with Lucy, and took her for a nice walk around the neighborhood. She was happy to learn more about Lucy for their first walk together and was communicative throughout. Would gladly book her again.

“Karen is a kind, caring person and I am so grateful we found her. She eased my worries leaving my new dog for the first time. Then when my travel plans went awry, she once again eased my concerns and went above and beyond the help care for our dog. Our dog was in great hands, and being well cared for while we were away. Thank you again! You are awesome!”
