About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! About: I am very open in my schedule and absolutely love dogs. I have grown up with at least one dog in my home my whole life and now own my own black lab mix. To me, pets are family! I have been a nanny for many years and all of the families have also had dogs that I would take care of simultaneously. I also worked for a few families to care for their dogs in the past assisting with feedings, play time, and walks. About: When I had my two dogs I would watch them whenever I needed to and would provide the care that they needed. I love all dogs and will pet them whenever I get the chance. If I can be around dogs/ cats I will be. I like to take my own dogs for walks and exercise/ do physical activity with them daily. I’m able to provide attentive, consistent care and make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I have a friendly, social dog who enjoys having visitors and does well with other dogs, while always making sure introductions are done thoughtfully and safely. I have a yard for outdoor time, and while it is not fenced, I use a secure runner/tie-out system and close supervision so dogs can safely enjoy fresh air, potty breaks, and time outside. I also keep dogs leashed on walks and anytime they are outdoors for added safety. If your dog is crate-trained or more comfortable with their own space, I’m happy to accommodate crating and follow your normal home routine. I always aim to keep pets on their regular schedule for feeding, exercise, rest, and any medications or special instructions. I treat every pet like my own—with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.
“Leia had a wonderful walk with Pat. Pat showed up promptly and checked in to make sure everything was okay before the walk. Pat walked her down the road and gave Leia some much needed exercise. Leia had met her previously a while back and took to her immediately again on the adventure of her walk exploring all the scents and sights along the way. It was a cold afternoon but Leia's favorite type of weather with dry ground and flurries in the air and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to get out on a Sunday afternoon after she had been alone all morning. Pat Tolerated Leia's little quirks of being anxious with new experiences and it all worked out beautifully. Leia and I are both looking forward to another walk for her in the future.”
About: I grew up around animals my entire life. I’ve had MANY pets including chickens, ferrets, fish, and most importantly there has always been at least one dog or cat in my house at all times. In addition to doing pet sitting for family & friends, my family loves dogs. At one point we’ve had 10 dogs in our home!!! With experience pet sitting cats, older dogs, puppies, and more; I am confident in my skills to start a new journey here on Rover. I’m a recent graduate from Lasell University with a BA in Fashion Media & Marketing. I am currently looking for full time roles but want to continue pet sitting in the meantime. At home my dogs eat at a certain time everyday, have access to a big backyard where they have a runner linked to the house so they are able to run around without getting lost. With other clients I have worked for walks, dog parks, bathing, medical care and more has been provided.
